Chapter 3
Once school was done for the day, I walk out to the parking lot where my car when I see the same blonde haired girl waiting for me by a row of cars parked nearest to the school.
"Umm...can I help you with something?" I ask, not sure on what was going on.
I wasn't too sure if this girl was going to tell me that she hated my guts or if she needed help with something. So, I waited for her response to my question.
"Why were you staring at me before during lunch and before class started?" She said.
"Why were you giving me a hateful glare before?" I countered back.
"I don't like your face that's why." She said to me annoyed.
I sighed.
For someone who doesn't like me, I could tell that she was going to cause me trouble just like Kyle said.
"As for your question about me looking at you, I just thought you and your butterfly hair clip looked familiar that's all. Sorry if that gave you reason to hate my face." I said.
"Oh I see." She said sighing.
"Is that all you wanted to say to me?" I asked.
Then she made a face like she just remembered something.
"Oh yeah I almost forgot. Know where a good place to eat at in town would be?" She said.
"Yeah,at Morty's Grill. Want me to drop you off there?" I said.
"Yeah I guess but that doesn't mean I like you or anything, got it?" She said.
"Yeah I got it. The least you can do is say thank you since I am giving you a ride there." I said a little annoyed.
"Yeah thanks. Can we go now?" She said, rolling her eyes at me.
"Yeah, lets go. The sooner I drop you off, the sooner I can go home." I said.
We both go to my car and get in before driving off to Morty's Grill. Morty's was pretty small before and was remodeled over a year ago so now it had tons more space to it.
A lot of people came here to eat especially people from my school who not only wanted to eat but hang out and do homework here too. I would come here sometimes with my friends to eat, hang out and do homework. It was lots of fun.
Once I parked the car, Stardust starts to get out then stops all of a sudden and turns around to look at me.
"Are you coming in or what?" She said.
"No, I am not. Plus I thought I said that I would drop you off, not go inside with you?" I said.
"You did, but I don't want to go in alone plus you look hungry." She said.
"Fine, I'll go in with you but don't expect me to go in with you next time." I said.
"Fine. It's not like I would ask you to come with me again to Morty's anyway." She said.
I rolled my eyes at her before we got out of the car and walked into Morty's.
Morty's was pretty busy today but we managed to get a table for the two of us and ordered some hamburgers and fries.
"So, why did you want to come besides just eating the food here?" I blurted out.
"Because I was bored and had nothing else to do that's why." She said, totally bored by me.
"Oh I see." Was all I could say.
With her attitude I bet it would hard for her to make friends if she keeps it up. I thought.
But maybe she didn't want any friends and just wanted to left alone. Still doesn't explain why she wants me other than not wanting to be alone today.
I am still bothered by the fact that her hair clip looks familiar to me. Maybe I should ask if we met before. But that would be awkward though.
"Hey. You said that I looked familiar to you before, right? Have we met before this?" She asked out of nowhere.
"No, I don't think so. I would probably remember meeting you if we had." I said.
"I see. It's just now that I think about it, there's something about you that I just can't wrap my head around. I wonder what it is." She said before eating a French fry.
Yeah me too. I thought.
Me too.
