Seiko
As the sun rose over the Kujo household, you stirred slightly, knowing you had to walk Jotaro to school. You had a quick shower, and brushed your (H/C) hair, as you picked out your outfit for the day. A black and red plaid mini skirt with two buckles on the side of it, with a denim vest that had studs on the shoulders. Black fishnet leggings and black combat boots adorned your outfit. You coated your lips with a deep shade of crimson, and your eyes with a dark charcoal. As you clasped a velvet choker around your neck for the final touch, you let out a content sigh.
You walked to the teenager's room and put your fist up to the wood that lined the paper door, before it abruptly slid open. The male, fully dressed in his uniform, was taken aback by your change in appearance. You laughed lightly before saying "C'mon. Let's get you to school."
As the rays of sun hit Jotaro's chiseled face, he took in a deep breath and said. "I'm definitely going to school today." before turning by force of habit. "That's weird..." He said, as he recalled to you the events that normally occur before he heads off to school.
As all was quiet and peaceful, a strange sense of dread fell over your shoulders. "Hmm, why don't we... Why don't we look for Holly?" You say, as the both of you look back into the seemingly empty entryway. Jotaro nodded and began the search. You followed close behind him, as you both searched for his mother.
"Holly! Hey Holly! Where are you?" Joseph yelled, as he approached his daughters room.
"Joseph!"
"Old man!"
You and Jotaro yelled simultaneously. The older male turned, as he held a pair of Jotaro's pants, and his sheet was wrapped around his foot. "Hey, have you seen Holly anywhere?" He questioned, as you approached him. "No, we were just about to ask you the same thing..." You trailed off. "Have you checked the kitchen yet, Old Man?" Jotaro asked as tension filled the air. He shook his head. You turned and began walking quickly to the kitchen. "I'll bet thats where she is." You said, trying to mask your worry.
As the three of you closed the gap between the group and the kitchen, you heard Avdol speaking in a worried tone. "But there's no way she could be unaffected. Anyone who has the blood of the Joestar family in their veins should be affected by Dio. But... Stands are controlled by a person's mental strength, and move with their fighting instincts. Ms. Holly is very gentle and peaceful. She therefore lacks the strength to withstand Dio's curse. She has no power to move her Stand. That's why her Stand is moving against her and harming her! This isn't good at all. At this rate... She'll die! She'll be killed!" Avdol's gaze brought itself to the door, where Jotaro, Joseph and you all stood, with a pained expression, as you gazed down at Holly.
"A S-Stand... Holly..." Joseph weakly let out, as Jotaro let out a pained "tsk" and you clasped a hand over your mouth. Abruptly, Joseph grabbed his grandson's collar and threw him against a wall. "Joseph!" You placed a hand on his shoulder. "This... This is the one thing I feared most! M-My daughter finally has a Stand. I knew she didn't have the power to withstand it. I knew she didn't have the power to deny the curse from Dio's soul." Joseph said, as sobs threatened to escape his lips. Jotaro cruelly grabbed the old mans arm and lifted him away from his collar. "Tell me how we should deal with this!" He calmly demanded, before releasing Joseph's wrist. "There's only one way. We need to find Dio! We need to kill Dio and lift the curse! That's all we can do!"
The four of you took Holly to her room, lay her futon out and placed her on it. Jotaro filled a hot waterbottle, as you dabbed a wet cloth on her forehead and face. As you took care of the sick woman, the others had been having a conversation. "But... No matter how many times I try, he hides in the darkness. In every spirit photo I take, the background is darkness! I cannot fond out where he is with my spirit photos." Joseph said, as you dipped the cloth back into the cool water and wrung it out again. You glaced at the pile of photos all piled on the floor in front of Joseph and Avdol. "We've used various means to analyze them, but with this darkness, it always failed." Avdol said as he gripped a polaroid in his fingers.
"You should have told me that in the first place." Jotaro spoke up as he reached for the picture Avdol had bedn holding. The Egyptian obliged and gave the teenager the photo. "I might be able to find out where," He summoned his Stand and gazed at the picture with spite. "That darkness, or whatever is!" His Stand analyzed the photo. "Did you see something in the space behind Dio?" Jotaro went over to a desk and pulled out a small notebook and a pen. "My Stand is able to move with such accuracy that it could extract a flesh bud from Kakyoin's brain, and with such precision that it can grasp a bullet. Let's have him sketch." You wrung the cloth out again, and dabbed Holly's forehead slightly, before looking up at Jotaro. His Stand stood behind him, pencil and photo in hand, as Jotaro held the notebook. The Stand rapidly began drawing as the lines formed a perfect picture of a fly. "A fly! A fly was in that space!" Avdol said, shocked. "But a fly wont help us at all-" Joseph began, before Avdol cut him off. "Wait a moment! I've seen this fly before!" Both Joseph and you spoke up in confusion. "What?!"
"Jojo, do you have an encyclopedia?" The Egyptian asked, as he searched his own memory for the fly. "We've got a library." Jotaro said, before Avdol ripped the page out of the notebook, and walked out of the room. "I'll take the memo. And I'll go investigate!"
"Uh, Joseph, Jotaro." You spoke up, as the blonde woman opened her eyes. "Holly!" The older man said softly as he kneeled down to his daughter. "Papa, I..." She began as you pulled the damp cloth away from her forehead. "Just rest. Jotaro, get some water." Joseph commanded as the two of you watched over the sick woman.
"Thank you, Jotaro." Seiko said, as she finished off the glass of water. She smiled brightly at the three of you. "Really, I wonder what's wrong with me... I can't believe I took fever and passed out. but..." The blonde continued talking as the three of you watched her stand move against her. You cringed at the thought of Seiko being seriously injured, or worse.
"You gave me quite a scare, Holly." Joseph smiled and laughed lightly as to not worry the ill woman. "Come now. You've got to brush your teeth now that you're up. Say 'ahh'" The old man began treating the woman as a child, as you and Jotaro watched. Joseph brushed her teeth, washed her face, brushed her hair, clipped her nails, fed her and washed her legs. The woman held up a pair of pink underwear, and said, "Papa, help me change my underwear, too." as Joseph's face turned bright red. The blonde laughed and twirled the underwear on her finger. "I'm kidding! It was a joke!" Joseph gave a genuine smile to his daughter, before she began to get out of bed. "Now, then, what do you want to eat for dinner, Jotaro, (Y/N)?" She politely asked.
"H-Hey..."
"No no it's alright!"
"Don't move! Just stay in bed!"
The three of you all said at the same time, rather loudly. Both Seiko and Joseph had been taken aback by Jotaro's concern. "I-I'm saying that you shouldn't do anything until your fever goes down. Just shut up and get better soon." The teen said, showing his raw emotions for the first time. You smiled, as Joseph helped his daughter get back into bed. "Holly, come on..."
"You're right. You're all so nice when I'm sick. Sometimes having a cold isn't so bad." Seiko said, before passing out. You let out a sigh of disappointment, as the woman lay unconscious. Jotaro's gaze quickly shot to his mother, as you grabbed the soaked cloth and began dabbing her forehead with it again. "H-Holly!" Joseph said to the unresponsive blonde. "Sh-She lost consciousness again. She's acting cheerful, but she's burning up. The way she acted confirms it. Though she hasn't said anything, my daughter is aware of her Stand. She was actually trying to hide her Stand from us. She was trying not to worry us! That's what kind of person my daughter is."
Jotaro clenched his fists, as he stared at his mother. "Mr. Joestar, I've found it!" Avdol said proudly, as he entered the room. "That fly is... this." He said as he flipped the encyclopedia open. "Egypt!" Joseph said, shocked. "And we've narrowed it down to the Aswan area. Dio is there!" Avdol chimed in. "So it is Egypt..." An almost unfamiliar voice chimed in."Kakyoin." Jotaro said, as the red head entered the room. "What do you mean by that?" Joseph asked the nearly recovered male.
"I figured thats where he was..." You said, "I mean, he was spotted there only four months ago by Avdol." You said, as you set the cloth in the bowl to join the others. "The flesh bud was planted in my brain three months ago. When my family was on vacation in egypt visiting the Nile, I met Dio." Kakyoin explained, as you raised an eyebrow at the group. "What is with you guys and meeting this man?" you questioned. The group dismissed your comment, as Avdol realized. "You were in Egypt, too? It appears that, for some reason, Dio doesn't want to leave Egypt."
"When are you going? I'll go with you." Kakyoin put a fist up to his heart, as if to swear on an oath. "Go with us? Why would you?" Jotaro asked the question that had been going through everyone's mind. Kakyoin closed his eyes and gave you a soft smile. "About that... I'm not sure why I suddenly want to join you, either." Kakyoin shrugged as Jotaro let out a "tsk." He put his index finger on his forehead where the bandage was tightly bound. "I've regained my senses because of you. That's all." Avdol and Joseph faintly smiled before Joseph went to his daughter. "Holly... We'll save you, no matter what. Don't worry. There's nothing to worry about... We'll make you better. You just take it easy." You smiled at the old mans compassion for his daughter, before Kakyoin began speaking. "Jojo's mother, Ms. Holly, is a woman who can calm the hearts of others. People feel at ease when she is nearby. This may sound awkward," Kakyoin paused as he put a hand up, "But if I were to fall in love, I'd like it to be with someone like her. I'd feel like I have to protect her. I'd want to see her happy, kind smile." Kakyoin finished. "Indeed." Avdol agreed. You met eyes with the two. "That... That was kinda awkward." Joseph broke the trance we all were in, and sat up. "There's no time. We're leaving immediately."
