I've decided to ask Star out on a date. And I also changed my mind. I wanted everyone to know that we're dating. I want to serenade her during lunch, and I had a few people to help me out.
(This fanfic is becoming more musical-ish than I thought. I hope you don't mind)

Riiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiinnnnnnnnnnggggg!!!!

Finally the bell. Star went up to me and said "Hey, Daniel asked me to join him today. Is that okay?" I felt jealous but it doesn't matter. I get to ask her out in front of my rival.

I smiled. "Sure! I have some things to do myself" she looked at me weirdly. "Oookay.. so I'm gonna go" she left.

All according to plan.

I go to my friends and we set up what we need to do. I look through the window. Everyone was in the cafeteria. I had butterflies in my stomach. I felt like throwing up. I get my guitar ready. The smoke machines were ready.

Then the lights went out.

I opened the door. Spotlights were on Star. The smoke machine started. People were whispering what's going on. Then the another spotlight was on me.

I started singing.

"Wise men say... only fools rush in...

But I can't help.. falling in love with you..

Shall I stay?... would it be a sin?...

For I can't help falling in love with you..."

I sang. Star was blushing really bad. I made my way to her table. All I could see was her.

"Like a river flows... surely to the sea.. darling so it goes...

Some things... are meant to be.."

She looked like crying. I approached her table. I saw Daniel glaring. He looked like he was about to explode. I smirked. I stood ontop of their table.

"Take my hand... take my whole life too...

Cause I.... can't help... falling in love with you..."

I took her hand and made her stand beside me. I didn't stop playing my guitar.

"Cause I... can't help... falling in love with.... you..."

I finished singing. The lights lit up again. Everyone was still silent.

"Marco... what are you doing?" She whispered to me. I smiled at her. I see Daniel looking pissed. Ha! Serves him!

"Star Butterfly! Would you do the honor!.... of going on a date with me?" I said loudly.

Everyone was shouting two different answers.

"YES STAR! DO IT!"

"NO DON'T! THINK OF THE STANIEL AND JARCO SHIP!"

Star was speechless. "Well?"

"Yes!" She hugged me.

The "starco" shippers fangirled and fanboyed

She pulled away and I kissed her quickly. The screaming increased. Now I know lots of people don't even have lives.

Daniel walked away. Jackie was watching. She looked heartbroken.

I didn't mind them. All that mattered was me and Star.

It was time for our date. I look at the time. 7:30 p.m

I was wearing a red turtle neck sweater with denim jeans and white vans.

I was waiting for Star downstairs.

And there she was. Walking down the stairs. She wore a pink sweatshirt and a plaid skirt along with pink boots.

She looked beautiful. Like always.

"You're beautiful" I went to her and planted a small kiss on her forehead.

"You're not bad yourself Diaz" she smiled. "Let's go" I grabbed her hand and we went out. "Where are we going?" She asked.

"To a place where only we know" I said.

I planned to take her on this mountain, it's not that hard to get there. On the peak of the mountain, there's a waterfall. And tonight's the night where the northern lights would show up. It said so in the news. I brought a picnic basket. So we would have a picnic there.

We hiked up the mountain, it was tiring but it was also fun. When we arrived. I sat there after setting up our picnic site. They said the lights would show up at 8:25 so until then, we wait.

"This muffin is so good Marco" she said.
"Thanks, it's blueberry" I smiled.

And we stayed there. Talking and eating.

I look at the time. 8:24.

I was eating all the muffins. They were sooooo good! "Ah! It's time!" He said. "For what?" I asked him. What's haopening right now?

"3...2...1" he counted. I look up to the sky. And I saw the most breathtaking sight I've ever laid eyes on.

"wow... Marco.. how did you do this?" I asked him. "Not me, it happens sometimes" he smiled. "It's beyond words.." I smiled at him.

"You're beyond words" he said before kissing me. I feel like he's been kissing me a lot... I don't care. I kissed back. We pulled away.

"This is the best date I've ever been in" I smiled. He smiled back "Me too".

It was perfect. I love this earth turd.

"Hey Marco"

"yeah?"

"I love you"
