MONDAY MORNING

I woke up to see Marco next to my bed

"Goodmorning Star~" he smiled.
"Wh-Huh? Who? Why the hell are you in my room" I said still sleepy. "Can't I wake up my princess?" He coed me.

"Boi shut the hell up, don't make me smack you. Now go to the kitchen and make me breakfast" I said to him as I made my way downstairs.

"No morning kisses?" He rushed after me.

"Diaz I swear to God if you don't shut up and not make me breakfast I'm going back to Mewni" I threatened him.

"Okay! I'm going to make you breakfast just don't leave earth" he ran to the kitchen. I saw him making Bacon and eggs. It smelled delicious. Can you believe him? It's like 4:45 in the morning and he wants me to kiss him? Can't he wait till later?

When he finished cooking, he placed the plates on the table and fixed the utensils. He gave me water to drink and afterwards gave me my Bacon and eggs. "Here you go, I hope you'll like em'" He said as he kissed my forehead.

I ate my food in silence.

"Star, I was thinking that-"

"Maybe we should keep this dared relationship a secret? Yeah sure Marco" I cut him off. It's really no big deal to me. Maybe it's for the best that we keep it a secret. It's only a dare.

"Yeah exactly, I hope you don't mind" he looked at me. "Yeah it's fine" I smiled.

School was boring as usual. But Marco made it fun somehow. It felt like I can tolerate Miss Skullneik's boring math lesson when I can see Marco.

We acted normal around others but when we were alone, he was so sweet. Like Boyfriend-ish sweet.

"Class I would like to inform you that our play would be on Feb. 14. Yes, Valentine's day- as if there's such a thing. Make sure you don't waste my time, I have a very special tindr date by then" she told us in her usual tone.

"Hey Marco, what's tindr?" I whispered to him. "It's a dating app" he replied back in a whisper.

Who would date Miss Skullneik?

The bell ringed "Lunch". I grabbed Marco's hand and we went to the cafeteria. I bumped into Daniel he was with Jackie.

"daniel? W-why are you with Jackie?" I asked Daniel. Daniel wrapped his arms around Jackie's shoulder.

"Oh nothing we're just talking about some... stuff" he said. Jackie removed herself from Daniel's grip and went to Marco.

"Hey Marco, do you want to maybe go on a date with me tomorrow night? We could go back to the abandoned carnival" she winked at him.

Abandoned carnival... the carnival where Marco took me? He's been there with Jackie?

"Marco, you didn't tell me that you and Jackie are dating" I faked a smile. I felt heart shatter into smaller pieces.

Marco noticed my fake smile.

Why didn't he do anything about it.

"Yeah I guess so, technically" Jackie smiled. Marco butted in.

"Um no, actually that was just one time. One time, we're not dating" Marco explaned.

Excuses. I shouldn't have agreed to this stupid dare.

"Anyways! Jackie and I have to be somewhere private" Daniel left with Jackie.
"Look Star-" "I'm going to buy my food" I said as I went to buy some pasta.

I got a table for the two of us. I waited for Star to come back.

She went to our table holding one tray with her food. "I'll be right back" I said to her and tried to kiss her forehead but she turned away and said "I'll wait here"

I went in line and bought my food. I went back and sat across Star. "Star-"

"You know what I like about pasta? It's because they're like snakes but not" she giggled.

"Star-"

"And also the sauce, it's reeeaaaallly good Marco, you should try some" she said as she ate her pasta.

"Sta-"

"Are you okay? Why aren't you eating yet?"

"Star-!"

"What?!" She looked at me.

I was silent. "Marco... I don't think we should continue this, Jackie said you guys were dating, I don't want to be the uninvited in your relationship, we can stop doing this, we-"

"No. It's okay. Don't believe what Jackie or Daniel tells you. Please... only a month" I looked at her with plead.

"okay" she told me.

》After lunch 《

It was time for us to rehearse.

Jackie had to go home early for some issues and Daniel had to go to the hospital to visit his mother.

I've seen those two together for a while now.

Are they dating?

"Okay people! Bring the understudy for Belle and Gaston!" Brittney yelled.

We have our costumes now so I had to put on this tight suit, but I didn't wear the face make-up yet.

The first scene was when the Beast was turned into... well a beast. The witch was Janna, and she was great at acting as the witch.

It was the next scene, we were to show Belle. I was at backstage. But I saw what was happening.

She looked amazing. Her blonde hair tied perfectly like how it's supposed to be. Her eccentric blue eyes. Her voice when she's singing. She's an angel with horned headbands.

She's the kind of girl that I could easily fall in love with.

I'll never forget this day.

We still have 27 more days to go.

Until then, I'll do whatever it takes to make the most out of these 27 days.

"Staring at your girl aren't you Diaz?"

"Gah! Janna! Stop sneaking up on people like that!" I smacked her arm.

"So when's the wedding? Can I be the grandmother of your children? Tell you what, if you name them all Janna, I'm going to make them sweaters every Christmas aaaannd I'll stop breaking in your house" she told me.

"Stop breaking into my home!" I told her. "Geez okay. Be honest though, are you guys together?" She asked me.

"Of course not" I told her.

"Cool, I kinda have this girl crush on Star" she said.

I was shook.

"You're a lesbian?!"

"No dude, I'm bisexual" she rolled her eyes.

I did not see this day coming at all. So does that mean, she likes both girls and guys?

"I actually didn't see that coming" I said to her. I always thought she was just tomboy-ish. I didn't expect her to actually be part of the LGBTQA+ community. And no, I'm not homophobic.

"But don't worry dude, I ain't stealing your girl, I'm already taken" I was relieved.

"Taken? By who?"

"By Oskar, dude, he's been my boyfriend for 2 months and counting" she smirked.

"Oh" was all I said.

"Diaz, you're on in 5 minutes" a guy told me. "Okay thanks" I replied.

"Welp, I'll catch you around Marco!" Janna said as she left.

I waved goodbye. And it was my turn to step on the spotlight.

T I M E  S K I P

We were finally at the part where we need to kiss. Star was flustered red. I can't blame her, I was blushing too.

"What are you guys waiting for?! Just kiss to get this scene over with!" Brittney shouted.

"H-hey! It's really hard! What if y-"

Star kissed me.

I kissed back.

The staff and other people in the room were shouting and cheering

"OMG STARCO IS REAL EVERYBODY! OMG"

"TOOK YOU GUYS LONG ENOUGH"

"STARCO! YAAAASSSS!"

"I'M GOING TO CRY OMG"

"booooo!!! Jarco and staniel is better-"

"EVERYONE SHUT THE HELL UP AND LET MY SHIP HAPPEN RIGHT NOW!"

We took a while to pull away.

"THAT'S A RAP EVERYONE" Brittney yelled.

We went backstage and I remembered....

This was only the rehearsal. What if it's the whole school. WHAT IF JACKIE SHOWED UP?! I don't want it to be her. God please no.

I see Star blushing. I approached her.

She hugged me unexpectedly. I hugged back.

"I love you" I whispered in her ear.

"I know" was all she said.
