Marco's POV

Why did I let her kiss me

I swear I was going to pull away but I got tempted. It felt wrong. I love Star, I really do.

But I'm afraid she might choose Daniel over me. I guess Jackie's my second option.

"Hey Star, I'd like to ask you something. Would you-"

"No actually, I have to ask you something" she interrupted me.

"Sure what is it"

"How was your date?" She asked me right away.

"Um it was okay? Nothing really happened" I didn't want to tell her about the kiss.

"Oh really? Are you sure about that?" She raised an eyebrow. What's going on?

"Yeah I'm sure" I smiled.

"Anyways, would you like to go on a date with me?" I asked her. "Yes" she looked overjoyed.

"Great! Tonight? 8 pm?" I chuckled.

"Yeah! Sounds awesome Marco" she kisses my cheek and hugs me.

I'd actually like to make moves on Star. I found tutorials online. I hope they actually work.

Star was making pancakes in the kitchen, I decided to sneak up on her.

I snake my arms on her waist and hug her from behind.

"Oh hey Marco, do you also want pancakes? I can make you some" she smiled innocently. I rest my head on her neck. "I'd like that" I whispered to her.

She shivered a bit. "O-okay" she continued making pancakes. My parents went grocery shopping.

Her hair smelled like vanilla. Her skin is so soft. Howcome she's letting me do this?

"How's life?" I asked. Still hugging her.

"Fine. Nothing big happened yet" She smiled. I pressed my lips softly on her neck. She didn't mind.

Then I started nibbling on her ear. She giggled. "Marco sto-op *giggles* I'm ticklish" she laughed.

I continued. She laughed. Her laugh always brightens up my day.

I stop nibbling on her ear and started planting light kisses on her cheeks down to her neck.

She took a plate and placed pancakes there. Drizzled chocolate syrup. Added powdered sugar. Finally, added strawberries on top.

"Look delicious" I took a fork. Sliced a piece and fed her. "Thanks Marco" she said in a muffled voice. I wiped the chocolate syrup she had on her lips. And licked it off my thumb. She blushed.

"Try it" she took a slice and fed me. She's getting good at cooking. "It's delicious" I complimented her. "Thanks" she smiled.

"The future king of Mewni would be honored to have you as his wife" I said. She blushed.

"I don't like to think about that now actually" she said. "Well.. have you perhaps, found a potential King?" I asked her while eating pancakes.

"Yeah actually" she said calmly.

"well who are they?" I asked in curiosity

"Well there's Oskar, and Daniel, and.... nevermind" she said quickly.

"Am I one of those choices?" I leaned closer to her

"Maybe...? Maybe not" she turned away

"Okay then. Can I be your knight if not your king?" I asked.

"Sure" she said, stuffing her mouth with pancakes.

I chuckled. "You're so adorable" I said to her as I placed a stray lock of hair behind her ear.

"I am not!" She pouted.

"Whatever you say Star" I ate more pancakes.

I helped her clean up.

Okay next move: holding hands and more soft kisses

I heard about this 'Second Base'. I wondered what it was. I don't know what that is though. Do you think Star would be into it?

Also. I heard about this Netflix and Chill.

I tried to ask but no one told me what it meant.

Me and Star was just watching tv.
I held her hand and wrapped my other arm around her. She started to get comfortable and rested her head on my chest.

She eventually fell asleep. I kissed her forehead lightly. I checked my phone and had recieved a text.

'Hey Marco 💕 doing anything tonight? ;-)"

'Oh hey Jackie, yeah actually I am. Why?'

':-( oh okay, I was going to ask you out for another date. But it's cool though'

'Glad you understood, gtg bye'

'Okay bye 😙'

I cringed at our conversation. Did she really think I liked her back? It's not my fault she kissed me.

I look at Star, still sleeping peacefully. Even when asleep, she still looks gorgeous.

I want to be with her forever. I want to grow old with her. I just hope she feels the same.

I placed Star's head gently on a pillow.

I made my way to my room-

Then I heard a knock on my door.

I opened it and saw-
