As the invasion of Dromund Kaas goes smoothly, Emperor Aolroth goes to the throne room of Emperor Baras where he's surrounded by royal guards.

Emperor Baras: Aolroth! I knew you would come!

Emperor Aolroth: I gave you the opportunity to end this peacefully. But your blindness has led you to your doom, Baras.

Emperor Baras: You're getting ahead of yourself! Can you back up your words? Guards, bring he his dead!

His royal guard began to surround Emperor Aolroth, but he remained calm. He pulled out his lightsaber and quickly cut down the guards with relative ease. After killing them, Emperor Aolroth moves towards Baras.

Emperor Aolroth: How many am I going to kill before you face me Baras?

Emperor Baras: Never send guards to do an Emperor's job. After I kill you, I'll have your body made a trophy and make the mere mention of your name punishable by death! Your empire gone! Your followers dead and buried!

Despite this threat, Emperor Aolroth remained calm.

Emperor Aolroth: Confident for a man about to die.

Emperor Aolroth spoke his words as Baras pulled out his lightsaber and charged at him. Aolroth and Baras exchanged powerful strikes upon one another. Baras sees an explosive canister and uses Force to lift it up and throw it at Aolroth, who simply cuts through it. The explosion doesn't damage Aolroth too much, but Arkous then Force Pushes the Emperor towards a wall and proceeds to throw his lightsaber. Before the lightsaber could hit his head, Aolroth move his head away, but Baras Force Grips the lightsaber and attempts to decapitate him, but Aolroth gets up and continues fighting. As they fight, Baras gains the upper hand and disarms the Emperor. He then thrusts his lightsaber at Aolroth, but he channels the Force into his hand to grab hold of Baras's lightsaber.

Emperor Baras: Why won't you just die?!

Arkous snarls, but Aolroth offered no response. Aolroth then uses the power of the Dark Side to shatter his lightsaber, disarming Baras. After shattering his lightsaber, Aolroth then shoots a torrent of Force Lightning onto Baras, who does the same. The power from the combined lightning attacks created a shock wave that pushed both Aolroth and Baras away from each other. After recovering, Baras charges at Aolroth and throws a punch, but Aolroth simply grabs his fist and proceeds to break it. Baras keels over in pain as Aolroth begins to beat down on on Baras. He kept punching until Baras ceased to breathe. After killing Baras, he retrieved his lightsaber and made his way to the Imperial Citadel to confront the Dark Council. In the Imperial Citadel, the Dark Council wait for Emperor Baras's word on Aolroth's defeat. But the soon see a lightsaber cutting through the door to the chamber of the Dark Council. Once the door was breached, Emperor Aolroth entered the chamber. The guards inside begin to attack Aolroth, but he quickly killed them with ease. After killing the guards, Emperor Aolroth confronted the remaining Dark Council.

Emperor Aolroth: Members of the Dark Council. The Imperial Empire is dead. Dromund Kaas is under my control.

Darth Marr walked to the Emperor.

Darth Marr: Where is Emperor Baras?

Emperor Aolroth: Dead. Dead by my hands.

Darth Vowrawn: What is it that you want Aolroth? It seems we are are your mercy.

Emperor Aolroth looked to the four remaining members of the Dark Council. He thought of his offer. By all rights he could kill them all. But he decided mercy and diplomacy was the best way to go about this.

Emperor Aolroth: I offer you all amnesty.

Darth Ravage: Amnesty? Just like that? I imagine such mercy has a price.

Emperor Aolroth: In exchange for my mercy, you must swear allegiance to the new Empire. My Empire.

Darth Mortis: And if we refuse?

Emperor Aolroth: Then you will die. But do you all wish to die alongside an Empire that has done nothing for you? What did Acina ever do for you? What did Baras ever do for you? What has the Imperial Bureaucracy done for you all?

The Dark Council members took thought to his words. All they ever got were orders.

Emperor Aolroth: In exchange for your loyalty, you will not only keep your lives, but control of Dromund Kaas will go to your hands.

Hearing that puzzled the Dark Council.

Darth Vowrawn: Why hand it to us? The seat of the Emperor lies within Dromund Kaas.

Emperor Aolroth: I have my thrown on Mustafar. I have no need for this throne.

Darth Mortis: When Malgus started this rebellion, he planned to have the Dark Council disbanded. Why change that?

Emperor Aolroth: I believe the Dark Council still has it's uses. You will all rule Dromund Kaas as you see fit as long as you swear loyalty to me. So what will it be? Will you all swear your loyalty to me and live? Or will you all throw away your lives and die with your old Empire? If you refuse, understand that I have killed two of your Emperors.

Emperor Aolroth laid out his ultimatum. The Dark Council thought about the Emperor's ultimatum. They knew full well of what he was capable of. After a moment to decide, Darth Marr spoke up.

Darth Marr: Very well Emperor Aolroth. The Dark Council hereby swear it's allegiance to your Empire.

Darth Marr accepted Aolroth's offer on behalf of the Dark Council.

Darth Ravage: What now, Emperor?

Emperor Aolroth: Now for the Republic. Only by destroying them will True Peace be a reality.

Emperor Aolroth as he set his eyes on the Republic and their Jedi protectors. The old Imperial Empire was now dead and the New Empire was born.
