My advice to you on how to make some gains for my more vertically challenged friends *cough* somerandomer2 . And for Darkest_Camera who started to work out.

And yes the saying is true less weight is better than more weight and less reps.

But it all depends on how light the weight is. If I did 5 pounds hammer curls would it help me?

If I did 100 maybe but even then try to reach a point.

As for eating if your already drinking plenty of water and eating well that's good you should be covered.

Also some advice do not work out in a sweatshirt! The sweat will get stuck making you cold!

Also you can try bar curls which are a bit hard but it's easy to get after trying a lot.

Ball slams work too. It works on your arms to carry the weight and it works on your legs because you need to squat in order to catch the ball.

Furhtermore as for legs the regular machinery will work but trust me back squat will help a lot but for some of you have a bump at the end of your neck after doing it enough it will become flattened.

And yes for my ladies out there this kind of stuff will work on you too.

As well don't get straight to lifting If you have time to stretching of any kind do it.

As well doing push-ups and sit ups.

So anyways here is some tips!

Stretch!
Feeling sore the day after is okay.
Try to work on all parts of your body!
