Hey guys and girls I'm back again with yet another chapter of The Darkness Within also who else is Uber excited for STAR WARS REBELS SEASON 2!!!!!!!!!!

Ezra's POV (Woo hoo)

"E...Ezra, Ezra Bridger" i tell the guy he offers me his hand, i stare at it for a while and realise what he was doing, i reluctantly take his hand and he gently lifts me to my feet "Sooooo, what did those thugs want with you?" he asks me Can i trust him? he seems trust worthy and he did beat up those thugs to help me so i think i can trust him let's just wait and see I then slip my backpack off my shoulders and open the lid showing him the contents "Oh, some food and water, electronic parts and some credits" he waits before continuing "Fair enough these are the essentials to survive, so where do you live?" he finishes "I live on the streets, my parents they-" i began to feel tears roll down my cheeks, Oblivion crouches down and pulls me into a hug i tense at first but relax after a minute or so"Oh my, i am so sorry Ezra,i know what it feels like to have the people you love taken away from you" i pull my face away from his shoulder "You do?" i ask with tears still rolling down my cheeks "I do, i watched helplessly as my friends and family were slaughtered around me, i know how hard it is" he replies a tear escaping from his eye and falling to the ground i put my head back on his shoulder and carry on crying whilst he rubs my back, a few minutes later i pulled my head off of his shoulder my eyes were puffy and my nose had been running "Hey Ezra i know a place you can stay, you wanna come with me there" he asks standing up "Yeah, where is this place?" i ask "just follow me it's safe i promise" he replies smiling and begins to walk out of the alley and back towards the market i quickly ran to catch up with him.

1 Hour later

I was getting really tired as we continued our long walk through the fields of Lothal and as if he read my mind Oblivion asks "Do you want me to carry you?" i nod and he proceeds to scoop me up into his arms and carries on walking five minutes later i was slipping into sleep awaiting the nightmares that usually follow.

30 minutes later

I awaken from a rather peaceful sleep No nightmares, hmmm that was odd Oblivion stops at a large tower and I slowly open both my eyes to get a better look at the tower, Oblivion walks up to a control panel and taps a button then types in a pass code and a door slides open Oblivion walks inside and i see a ladder "Hold on Ezra" he tells me as he moves me onto his shoulder and begins to climb the ladder, once we reach the top of the tower we come to another control panel Oblivion hits the pass code in again and the doors slide open with a loud hiss, he carries me over to a bed and lays me down onto it "I'll be right back" he informs me and walks out onto the balcony, as he leaves my eyes start to get heavy again as sleep takes it's hold here we go again i think to myself

Oblivion's POV

I walk out onto the balcony and take the communicator off my belt "Ahsoka, do you copy" i say into it, less than a second later a worried sounding Ahsoka replies "Oblivion are you ok, why aren't you back yet, has something bad happened?" i sigh "No i'm fine Ahsoka, i met a young boy named Ezra, he was living on the streets and was cornered in an alley by a group of men so i rescued him per say and i'm gonna look after him for a bit" i reply "Oh thank the force your alright i was starting to get worried, so when do you think your be coming back" she asks sounding clearly relieved "I expect a few weeks or so" i reply "Ok, may the force be with you Oblivion, and be careful" she tells me, i smirk "Yeah and don't get into any trouble while i'm gone i won't be there to rescue you this time" i retort "Oh yeah, if i remember right i was the one the saved you" she replies cockily "yeah whatever, i gotta go i'll speak to you tomorrow" i tell Ahsoka "Ok, sleep well" Ahsoka tells me "I will, you too" i reply clipping my comm onto my belt and walking back inside the tower, when i look over to the bed i see a exhausted Ezra fast asleep i grab a blanket from one of the chairs and place it on top of him "Goodnight Ezra, sleep well buddy" i whisper to him, i look around the room and see a sofa in the corner So this is my bed for tonight i think to myself as i walk over to it and lay down welcoming the respite after a long day.

I loved writing this chapter where Oblivion and Ezra begin to bond and become friends it always makes my heart melt reading it back, anyway that was chapter 6 of The Darkness Within please favorite if you like, comment your opinions and as always guys and girls stay safe.
