However with the aid of Rook duchess Satine managed to Escape and get to the republic.

(Coruscant). 1 week later.

Satine took a deep breath as she prepared to enter the senate chambers.

(Earlier that week).

Before her big appearance to the senate was to happens she had attended a conference with Padme and palpatine along with Bail Organa.

The matting also had several key Jedi members Mundi, Windu, Plo, Yoda an Obi wan.

She had been asked to Relay what had happened on Mandalore.

"So start from the beginning please duchess." Palpatine asked gently.

"Yes it began with raids from the criminal organizations Black Sun and pyke syndicate. Furthermore they overwhelmed our police forces and proceeded to rob several landmarks before death watch arrived to stop them." Satine retold the events Growling when mentioning the traitors and the suffering they had caused.

However palpatine and bail were scratching their chins.

"If your here then I assume deaths watch led some sort of Coup with their arrests of the crime lords." Organa says questioningly.

"Indeed they did." Satine says nodding her head. However she kept silent about maul and Savage she knew if the republic learned about them an all out invasion would be decalred something she wanted to limit as much as possible

"I see then this must be brought to the senate to be discussed. However it should be done in a week the senate is very tense at the moment with the Confederacies new offensives." Palpatine says calmly.

Satine has to reign in her anger as she breathes and nods her head accepting the term.

(Present).

Satine was called to the front where she was asked to relay what had happened to mandalore.

After explaining the crime activity and asking for republic aid in chasing the criminals out the senate erupted into argument.

"We must invade and free the Mandalorian people and the others innocent people of over 2'000 systems."

"The republic must act at once."

"What about the Neutrality treaty."

That final comment caused the whole senate to go silent. The neutrality treaty would make it nearly impossible for any military action to be taken even if it is in defense of the people.

The other problem was the fact of the Separatists breathing down their necks.

However one senate pod Senator Lott Dod came forward.

"If the republic is to send aid we need some thing from Mandalore and the neutral systems coalition." He says greedily.

Many nod their heads already seeing where he was going.

"And what would the republic want from us." Satine questions fearing the answer.

"Simple we require unrestricted access to Mandalore and the neutral hyper space lanes, full access to build military bases and outposts on those planets.

And we request the unconditional access and control over the Neutral drive yards of Zatonna." Lott dod stated many senators nodded their heads in agreement.

"No I won't accept that. Zatonna is a merchant fleet builder and many neutral worlds don't want to be dragged into the war." Satine pleaded.

"Wake up duchess you're already in a war and you are losing it." A senator says sneering at the duchess.

"Back off senator Krazek. (An: made up his name)." Senator Kariva of Alsakan says glaring at the older man.

"Why should I it's clear the duchess here was too weak to maintain peace are we going to allow a spineless coward to lead a potential threat.

we are the republic the greatest institution in the galaxy I say it doesn't matter what this weakling says if she refuses we shall go and free those who need us because we have the strength to do so." He decalred amidst thunderous applause.

However padme, bail, Kariva and Derrick had no interest in rallying behind war against Mandalore.

"Objection." Satine began to protest only te be silenced by Mas Amedda.

"Silence duchess your choices are either accept the terms demands or accept an unconditional counter attack." He says coldly.

Satine with tears in her eyes decided to withdraw knowing there was very little she could do.

(Jedi temple).

The council was outraged.

Kanye anted to take mandalore back by force and prevent the spread of crime while the other side wanted to go ahead more peacefully and with stained approval.

"With mandalores Neutrality It would be better to get Satines permission to launch a counter strike." Plo argued and Obi wan nodded his head in agreement.

"No if we wait till long we will allow untold suffering to happen to billions." Windu argued back.

"Our men will be viewed as invaders unless satine leads us we must be patient." Adi Gallia argued back.

"No we must act now. We are Jedi keepers of peace if we allow the criminals to go Rampant we will be viewed as weak and pathetic.

And some Amy even call us lenient on the crime lords." Mundi argued almost yelling.

The council continued to bicker and all the wile Obi wan was clenching his fists wanting to do nothing more than to help satine in her hour of need.

Meditating he called into the force for guidance and After sitting with his eyes shut for 5 minutes he finally had an idea.

Once the council emptying concluded in conclusive as many council members refused to invade a neutral world without any form of permission and the others were just a bout ready to go in guns Blazing.

Obi wan rushed out and jumped into a speeder and headed for Satines Temporary residence. However Ahsoka cut him off.

"Going to Satines master." Ahsoka questioned.

"Yes maybe." Obi wan replied anxious to get going.

"Let me come with I want to see Her." Ahsoka requested.

Anxious to get going Obi wan agreed and the two rushed to Satines Apartment

(Satines apartment).

Arriving in the senate Apartments Obi wan and Ahsoka rushed to Satines Apartment.

After knocking for ten minutes and no answer Obi wan opened the door and finally forced their way in.

Entering the room they saw satine sitting at the counter her head on her arms.

"are you alright Duchess." Ahsoka questioned the woman.

However satine lifted her head and both Jedi were horrified at Her appearance and Obi wan rushed to comfort her.

Satines eyes were red from Crying and it took an hour of Rubbing circles on her back for Obi wan to calm her.

After calming down satine told them what had happened in the senate chambers.

Ahsoka had to be physically held back by Obi wan. Ahsoka was livid with the Senator and was under a lot of temptation to go run her blade through their chests.

"Are there any alternatives you can turn too." Obi wan questioned satine.

"No. The republic was our only hope but teh demands are too step and I know not every world will go along with them and people
Will surely suffer."

However a woman coming from the opposite room entered the living room.

"There is an alternative actually." She says while Ahsoka ignites her blades.

"Rook." Ahsoka growled.

"Yes it's me and unlike usual I'm not here to fight but help. You see while neither governments can interfere without the neutrality treaty being up ended.

But a mercenary army doesn't have to comply with such demands." She began only to be cut off by Obi wan.

"Are you suggesting we hire thugs and bounty hunters to aid mandalore and the neutral coalition." Obi wan demanded angrily.

"No you see Avona as minister of the raxon trade guild has noticed mandalores strife and she is assembling a private army to fight off the crime lords." Rook replies calmly.

"Why does a Sepratist care about that sort of thing." Ahsoka growled.

Rook was about to retaliate but Satine beat her to it.

"That statement is very inaccurate especially regarding Minister Avona. You see young Ahsoka Avona is the one largely responsible for the defeat of the Hutt empire and she and her allies lead a coup against the more sinister leaders of the confederacy.

So her actions of forming a private army to aid Mandalore definitely isn't beyond her." She says before turning to face rook.

"But how can that army attack if they are Sepratist aligned it would violate the Neutrality treaty." Satine says pointing out what she believed to be the only flaw to Avona's plan.

Rook however smirked. "True but that wouldn't be the case if Avona sold you the company building that private army it would become yours Duchess and is anyone violating the treaty at that point." Rook questioned still smirking.

A smile soon appears on Satines face. "How much would Avona ask for."

Rook just shook her head. "That can be decided in person. Avona has informed me the planet this army is assembling on is Azana and she told me to bring you duchess to discuss the army's plans and price."

Satine nodded her head. "Let's get going then."

However Obi wan grabbed her arm. "Satine what about the republic of this vote goes through the republic will attack any ways regardless what you do." He pointed out.

"It doesn't matter any more if the republic attacks us we will defend. I'm done being a pacifist and now it's time to be a warrior." Satine says determinedly walking to rook who was waiting by the door.

However Obi wan spoke again.

"Rook would Avona be opposed to two Jedi aiding this army." He asked to which Rook smiled.

"I'm sure Avona would have no problem with that. Now come on." She says running into the halls followed by satine and Obi wan and Ahsoka.

When they got into Rooks ship Obi wan contacted the council and didn't tell them where he was going with Ahsoka all he told them was they were going for a special training retreat for a few weeks.

Most of the council had no problem with this and gave approval for the retreat. Ahsoka meanwhile was silent she asked for some time alone which Rook Allowed taking her to a private room.

Once in the room Ahsoka began playing over the events of everything that had happened.
She was stunned by the council's inaction and desire to help Mandalore and was angry at the senate for wanting to occupy and essentially drain mandalore and the neutral coalition's resources and way of life to achieve an edge over the Sepratists.

'Maybe the Jedi are on the wrong side maybe the republic doesn't bring peace and Justice. Instead of acting to stop the Hutt empire we let it grow until Avona a Sepratist leader of a small system led her armies and freed millions.

A Sepratist was praised families showered her with love and we the Jedi are lucky when that happens on any world these days. Maybe we have truly lost the mantle peace keepers.' Ahsoka thought confused.

Her thoughts were interrupted by a Silver clad warrior entering the room.

"It wasn't always easy for my sister you know." A voice says startling Ahsoka who turned and saw Carmiya in the doorway.

"Sorry for startling you may I come in." She asks politely with a small smile.

Stunned Ahsoka nodded and Carmiya sat down. "I know that your confused why we traitors to your republic could do things that you believe the republic should be doing.

Your confused why we are the ones to want to free the galaxy from Crime and not the Jedi right." Carmiya says basically speaking Ahsokas thoughts aloud.

"How'd you know." A shocked Ahsoka asks.

Carmiya just chuckled. "You said some of your thoughts aloud when I guess you were pacing the room."

Ahsokas shocked expression turned to a small laugh. "Oh no I did say some of that aloud didn't I."

Camriya now full on laughing replied. "Yes yes you did."

The two woman take a deep breath to hold their laughter in before Ahsoka speaks again. "So what did you mean it wasn't always easy for Avona."

Carmiya's face turned serious as she looked down at her helmet. "It's a long story so strap in." She told the Padawan who Nodded.

Carmiya told Ahsoka everything from the Jedi trying to take their brother to the bombing that killed everyone else except Avona and herself.

She told her how Avona became minister and Governess at the age of 16 and how she helped millions with her revolutionary economic ideas.

And then told her Avona's military Career and everything she did and what she fought for.

By the end of it Ahsoka was silent. However before she could ask anymore questions the intercom activated and Rook told everyone to prepare for landing on Azana.

Carmiya stood up and put her helmet on. "Think about what I said and remember the galaxy isn't as black and white as the republic would want it to be." She says before exiting the room and Ahsoka followed shortly after headed for the bridge.

They soon landed and Ahsoka was amazed at the beauty of the planet and as they got closer she was shocked at the sight before her.

Thousands of troops stood in formation on the fields near their landing zone.

As they began landing Sequence Ahsoka and Obi wan noticed a woman clad in brown with medals on her chest flanked by 6 Morelian soldiers.

Ahsoka guessed this was Avona while it had been some time since their encounter on the tranquillity she recognized Avona's Features.

Following Rook they were greeted by Avona.

"Duchess satine and Jedi master Kenobi and Padawan Ahsoka welcome to Azana and May I have the honor of presenting the Mandalorian liberation army." She declared waving her arm
Towards the army.

"A magnificent sight now how much do you want for it." Satine asked getting straight to the point.

Avona simply waved her hand dismissively.

"No price it's yours to lead Duchess and with the army's aid Your home world will be reclaimed and freed from the crime lords who exploit and harm your people." Avona replied.

Satine nodded her head then turned to the army assemble before her flanked by Ahsoka and Obi wan.

"May I have a mic please I wish to address the troops." She asks avona who nods and has one of her men hand one to Satine who turns back to the army.

"Soldiers of the liberation army are you ready ti stand by me as one body and soul as we go and free sacred Mandalore from those who would exploit it and murder millions.

I ask you not as a duchess who will sit on a Throne but as a warrior leader who will stand by you on the fields of battle." She declared raising her fist in the air.

Soon all the soldiers shot their arms into the air.

"Free sacred Mandalore."

"Duchess you command we follow you."

"We will March and fight."

"We will win."

The soldiers decalred and for the first time in a long time satine felt Mandalore could truly be United and free.

Behind her Ahsoka and Obi wan shot their arms into the air showing their support.

Meanwhile Avona had slipped away near rooks ship before pulling out her Holo communicator.

"The army is ready I trust you are also in position."

"Yes mistress when the time is right those Zabrack pretenders won't know what hit them." Revan decalred smirking behind his mask.

An: hope you all enjoyed sorry for no major actions scenes this time but there will be plenty in the next chapter.
