Narrator:A new front emerges. Following the costly invasion of mandalore a mass riot broke out across Coruscant.

With his support plummeting Palpatine decides His only hope now is for a last grasp plan to snatch victory from the jaws of defeat.

(Coruscant).

Tarkin stood in front of the highest ranking commanders of the republic. Following his attack on mandalore both him and Tamen were being tried for disobedience and war crimes.

The Cheif prosecutor was admiral Colburn Tarkins most vocal critic.

"Not only have you lost us a vital trade route to some of our last remaining supply bases in the rim territories.

You've also created yet another enemy for us to fight when we are dangerously overstretched already trying to contain the Sepratists." Colburn says accusingly.

The key difference between Colburn and Tarkin was their belief system. Colburn beloved in honorable warfare and was often careful to not take unnecessary risks and have mass casualties.

Tarkin didn't care about risks or the lives of his men and was only concerned about his personal power while Colburn was very pleased where he sat and was not anywhere near as ambitious or greedy.

This as a result led Colburn to holding significant more sway and liking in high command while tarkin was hated by all of them and other Senior officers.

The Judge was Grand General Kasro Brimarch

Despite the odds against him tarkin in his typical arrogance stepped forward.

"You would rather me just let a Sepratist threat rise and just cut us off anyway. Or would you rather me disobey the chancellor directly.

Yes a new front was made but in my opinion it was inevitable surely I'm not the only one who sees this." Tarkin says arrogantly.

Many scowl at him but reluctantly nod "very well then. You will be transferred to patrol duty of the world Chandrila for the next 26 rotations." The judge declares.

However just as he moves to pound the Gavel Palpatine walks in.

"Belay that order General Brimarch." He commands the elderly officer who stands up.

"With respect Chancellor I feel our sentence is very fair so why do you wish to countermand it." He questions fearing the answer.

Palpatine just smiles devilishly at the old general. "Simple. Admiral tarkin proved his effectiveness in battle yes he lost but we need to adapt we must be more aggressive in battle and unpredictable.

The Sepratists depend on convention to win a battle we are going to deny that now.

But I need a new man to oversee this new strategy and it's for that reason."

He says before announcing in a loud voice. "Grand General Kasro Brimarch. I hereby revoke your position as grand general and give it to tarkin under grounds of Failure to uphold your oath to protect the people and republic."

Tarkin looked up smugly at the old general whose face was red. Instead of yelling he walks to palpatine and forcefully shoved his badge into palpatines hands.

However palpatine is surprised when 7 other Senior officers follow suit as the former grand General.

Tarkin of course was oblivious to this problem and walked up to palpatine who gave him the Grand General Plague.

"Now with that sorted I've gathered the Jedi to discuss the new operation we will begin in 1 month." Palpatine says gesturing for high command to follow him.

They soon enter a large conference room where seated around a large table is the Jedi High council along with Anakin skywalker.

One by one the High command officials sit down as palpatine moves to the front of the room followed by Tarkin.

This caused some Jedi to feel uneasy. "Where is General Brimarch." Plo questions.

Palpatine doesn't even look up as he replies.

"Retired just a few minutes ago he felt he was too old for the war effort."

This answer convinced Most Jedi except for some.

The Jedi were shaken because they had tried Adi Gallia a Jedi Suspected of aiding in the mass protests only a few days ago.

Palpatine takes a deep breath as his plan appears Via Hologram not noticing the discomfort in the Jedi.

"I call it Operation Starlight the invasion of Morelia." He declares proudly.

However once that planet was mentioned the room erupted into protests.

"Are you mad."

"Morelia. Is to heavily fortified we will be crushed."

"What about the new front against Mandalore."

The protests continued until Tarkin slammed his fist on the table.

"Silence and let the chancellor explain."

The room slowly becomes silent but there was no shortage of Glares directed at Tarkin.

"Thank you Grand General. Now as I was saying Operation Starlight will be an attack on
Morelia with 3 objectives.

1. Master Mundi and master windu with Additional divisions to their own legions will target the Morelian capital.

2. Intelligence has discovered a town called Izana that will be supplying the capital General Skywalker will target that.

3. The city of Vyrana will also need to be Taken as it's a vital Military base and civilian Hub if we can take it there will be now where for the capital forces to make a last stand."

Once Palpatine finished speaking there was silence until Anakin stood up. "Well what are we waiting for let's go show those Morelians what they are dealing with and show the Sepratists the republic is not beat yet." He says raising his fist in the air.

However many didn't share his enthusiasm. Looking at the map Critically Obi wan spoke up.

"Vyrana is heavily fortified if our intelligence is accurate in any way it is Guarded by a Force 400'000 strong and while it's true that our clones are more than a match for the Morelian average soldier.

The elites of the Morelian Army are another story entirely."

"And that's not even counting any dark or rogue Jedi helping her." Shaak ti points out.

Eventually windu stood up. "As much as I am reluctant to launch such an attack it is our only hope. Public morale and opinion is turning against all of us.

if we could achieve such a victory it could turn our fortunes and public support would raise for the war effort which is crucial especially if we want industrial support for the war effort."

Many nodded their heads in agreement and soon the meeting ended.

(1 month later (sorry to rush it but I thought you'd guys prefer some action as opposed to a bunch of dialogue).

The republic was just wrapping up the gathering of the forces they would need for the offensive against Morelia.

The planners assumed that they would need at least a million clones to commence such an attack due to the Morelians being very anti republic and any invasion would be met with heavy resistance.

Palpatine instead decided to commit 1.4 million troops mix of Clones and TK Troopers.

The Jedi weren't exactly thrilled about working with TK Troopers who often were arrogant Brats but they reluctantly agreed to add their numbers to their legions.

Tarkin had amassed a powerful fleet of 300 venators and hundreds of support ships for the offensive.

Under the new Grand General the republic military became far more aggressive specifically Tarkin had initiated what he called the Tarkin doctrine a doctrine of fear that would make the Mandalorians and Sepratists surrender.

This however had the opposite effect. Bo Katan found it easier to get recruits for the mandalorian army and the Sepratists gained even more public approval.

To compare. There was 85 percent positive support for the war against the republic in Confederacy territory while there was only 39% positive support for the war in republic territory.

The Republic had seen more success against Mandalore than they did the confederacy with the republic taking over 200 worlds from Mandalore.

The republic did its best to hide what it was doing to take those worlds which included the torture of prisoners and the mass fire bombing of key industries they couldn't control.

However despite the secrecy Avona's spies knew what was happening and spread the truth it didn't cause an all out riot like earlier but many began to develop serious Anti republic sentiment.

The spies also knew that the Jedi had no idea what was happening since no Jedi were assigned to the Mandalorian Front so when they spread the truth they made certain to leave the Jedi out and focus mostly on the senate.

And despite the republic secretly preparing to invade Morelia Tarkin was pulling men from teh mid rim to strengthen their attack and news of this got back to Avona who immediately knew what was coming and she had a plan to deal with it.

(Morelia Avona POV).

I took a Deep breath as I stepped onto my Balcony. Looking over my Beautiful world I felt scared as I saw evac Transports evacuating the civilians to the refugee zones Across the planet.

I was scared because the recent aggressive streak of the republic had made it clear that they wouldn't hesitate to attack civilians to achieve victory despite their assurances of staying true to the Naboo war Accords.

Earlier Carmiya had boarded a transport bound for Kynar with Mila but to ensure they were protected I sent Admiral Vidar with 15 frigates to make sure they made it to Kynar safely.

Deep in my thoughts I barely registered the arrival of the Alson and Lord Vitiate.

"Mam the shadow troopers are here." Alson announced startling me a little.

Turning around and clearing my throat I replied. "Very good how many." I asked lord Vitiate.

"500'000." He replied immediately.

"Good divide them up I want 250'000 armed and ready to attack as soon as republic forces land.

The remaining 150'000 divide them 50/50 to defend Vyrana and Izana." I ordered.

Vitiate Stared at me confused. "Forgive me mam. But shouldn't we leave at least 20'000 to defend the Capital.?"

It was an honest question my strategy to deal with the republic attack was only known to The knights, Admiral Vidar and General Andor. Darth Revan Also knew but that was because he was here when I discussed the plan and I ordered him not to tell the council in case the Jedi by some miracle found out.

"Lord Vitiate just trust me I have a plan that will send the republic running." I said Grinning widely.

Eventually he smirked at me and bowed. "Certainly mam I just hope you won't elevate me out on the fun."

I laughed at his request. "Wouldn't dream of it Vitiate now please hurry we need to be organized by the time the republic arrives.

Boeing he and Alson leave my office as I return to my desk to go over the final details of my plan.

(12 Hrs later 3rd person POV).

The first ships of the republics massive invasion arrived just near the Morelian moon at the head of the fleet was the Resolute.

Aboard it Ahsoka and Anakin stared at the massive Sepratist defense fleet. At the head of the morelian defense fleet was the calamity the dreadnought that had plagued the republic almost  as much as the Invisible hand.

"Attack formation Alpha 6 mobilize all fighters and prepare to attack the separatist fleet now." Anakin yelled out as deckhands relayed his order to the rest of the fleet.

Seeing 7 venators charging him with  support ships TX-1943 turned to the main console on his command chair.

"Battle crusiers 40-75 move forward and ram the republic head on all other ships form up protect the Luckerhaults and launch all fighters." He commanded as a chorus of Roger Rogers replied.

Soon the Sepratist fleet was counter charging despite the formidable armor and shields of the Frigates Republic crusiers and fighters decimated them.

Vultures and Hyena Bombers launched Kamikaze attacks on republic war ships and the calamity was soon in full combat with Skywalkers Resolute.

Despite the ferocious battle outside TX-1943 heard a laugh standing up he sees Shadow Master Meetra Surik behind him.

"Comamnder keep up the pressure but Prepare a boarding ship I wish to see how powerful the chosen one really is." She says while cracking her knuckles as B1s scramble to activate the tractor beam.

"Mam General Avona ordered that you guys were to not engage the Jedi during this battle remember until she said." The droid protested.

Scoffing at the droid she hit a button on her wrist and armor immediately encompassed her.

(An: this is what it looks like just add a brown robe over it this was the best I could do please don't hate).

"Oh believe me Comamnder I'm ready to fight and those Jedi scum won't even know who I am." She says confidently.

Nodding his head as the tractor beam gets a lock onto Anakins cruiser.

Seeing they were being pulled in Anakin turned to the gunners.

"Concentrate all fire on that Dresdnought now." He orders.

However by the time the resolute turned its guns on the Calamity they've been sucked in and connected.

"Come on we have to repel them." Anakin says to Ahsoka as alarms blare and Clones rush to repel the attackers.

Arriving Anakin sees a white lightsaber Begin to slice through the door.

Soon the circle is cut and thrown away by the force.

In the opposing Hallway a line mandalorian stands with black armor.

Igniting his blade Anakin Addresses the mandalorian. "Let us go and we will spare you." Anakin tells arrogantly.

The warriors just Laughs a deep robotic voice echoing off the walls. "I think not young Skywalker." The voice says while Drawing a white lightsaber and over a dozen commando droids and B2s rush forward attacking the clones

"RETURN FIRE ." Rex orders the clones as anakin he rushes forward to fight the Mandalorian.

however Meetra simply parried every stroke he throws at her with precision while mocking him.

"Pathetic once our master reaches Coruscant the Jedi won't even be a challenge how saddening." She says while ducking under one of his strikes.

Roaring Anakin doesn't realize how exposed he is until Meetra Kicks him into the wall knocking him out.

Immediately 4 clones charge her. Moving fluidly she simply cuts them down.

However Ahsoka pounces on her and the two engage in a brief fist Fight as Meetra kicks her off reigniting her blade and attacks Ahsoka who meets her In a saber lock.

However seeing the clones escaping Ahsoka pushed Meetra back and jumps to safety as the blast door closes.

Activating her comm Ahsoka gives frantic orders.

"All hands move to gunships or abandon ship the Sepratists are here set ship to self destruct." She orders while Bolting through the halal followed by clones as they scramble to the gunships which exit the ship Via side hanger.

However as they near a gunship Hardcase stops running and turns around.

"Hard case what are you doing". Fives demands.

Soaring his brother a small smile before dawning on his helmet hard case races back the way they came and prepares to make a last stand.

However as he's running through the ship he is stunned from behind by Commando Droids.

Eventually Meetra Approaches the group.

"Bring him back to the ship abandon this one and order the calamity to disengage and open fire." She orders the droid Comamnder who nods.

Eventually the calamity disengages and fires all guns on the Resolute destroying it.

It would have damaged republic morale more if Ahsoka hadn't warned them that they were headed for the surface.

Shortly after the loss of the resolute the republic arrives and begins its landing sequence while the Calamity retreats and 30 other ships.

Soon hundreds of gunships and bombers and fighters race to the surface while the remnants of Morelians defense fleets re chased off

Entering the atmosphere the Obi wan orders the last doors to open and stepping to get a lock he sees Hundreds of Missiles
Approaching them.

"EVASIVE ACTION." He yells as republic Gunships scatter and try to counter attack while vultures a race towards them.

On the ground Morelian Field comamnders scramble their Air defense units who rush to man the newest Morelian AA Guns

(The ZK Rocket Cannon).

(The RA heavy repeating Cannon).

Both were expert ship killers and had a 80 percent kill rate.

Morelia had thousands of them and Area commanders mobilized their droids armies to add to the defense.

Mundi was getting hit hard as his and Windus Forces were aiming for a Landing zone 80 miles from the Two Citadels Defending the Morelian Capital.

However the Morelians Stubbornly resisted shooting down dozens of gunships. Luckily Y-wings managed to soften them up enough for the Clones and TKs to land and begin their charge as tanks brought up the rear.

Meanwhile plo and Obi wan were facing similar difficulties but instead of stubbornly charging as close as possibly to Vyrana they landed about 150 miles from the city and began their advance though they frequently made makeshift barricades as Morelians and droids fought back ferociously.

Meanwhile Jedi knight Quinlon Vos and several other knights attacked the Vyrana citadel.

The bombers supportimg Anakin had smashed most of the air defenses so the landing was easier.

Swiftly Anakin seized Izana Citadel but not before engaging in fierce battle with the Morelian 12th army who stubbornly resisted them.

Luckily Anakin Had more heavy equipment then them and so was able to chase them off.

By the end of week 1 plo and Obi wan were in trench warfare against the Morelian 2nd and 7th armies while Mundi was engaged in ferocious battle with the shadow army.

Anakin was still trying to route the 12th army who was stubbornly holding onto Izana.

But operation Starlights current success had rallied a lot of support for the war as People watched on as the two heavy weights Morelia and the Republic go head to head.

(Kynar).

Mila was happily skipping through the halls looking for Carmiya. The two were playing hide and seek and after asking a soldier where carmiya was the soldier played along.

Activating his comm three others joined him  and quickly explaining the three laughed before pretending to be serious.

"The Carmiya Hunter squad ready for action Mam." The soldier says saluting Mila who just laughs with glee as she and the soldiers move to search the room where she and Carmiya were staying.

Eventuality the 5 enter the room and tear it up looking for Carmiya but Mila notices a soldier with a Finger over her lips pointing at the closet.

Giggling the young girl flings the door open and jumps onto Carmiya's chest.

"Found you." She says Giggling.

A look of disbelief crossed Carmiya's face until she sees the soldiers putting two and two together she smiles wickedly at Mila.

"You little cheat." She says mock hurt as she puts the giggling girl into the bed and attacks her belly with tickles.

"Quick protect Lady Mila." A soldier calls as the four grab Carmiya and pin her as Mila walks over smirking at Carmiya.

"Don't you dare." Carmiya Hisses as Mila attacks her armpits.

Carmiya's torture however is cut off by an alarm blaring.

Recognizing what it was Carmiya picked Mila up and handed her to the female soldier.

"We need to get to the shelter we're under attack." She says while swiftly throwing on her armor.

wandering the halls they come across Luminara Unduli with Agan Kolar and Commandos.

"Get them." Luminara orders pointing to Mila and Carmiya racing forward light saber drawn

"Run." The soldiers yell as the three fire at teh Jedi while Carmiya and The female soldier and Mila run.

However after running down two flights of stairs they see 6 commandos over the dead bodies of 10 Kynar soldiers.

"Get them." Alpha leader orders.

"RUN." Carmiya yells shoving the two away as she charges Alpha squad.

By now Mila has tears streaming down her face as the female soldier runs for the shelter.

Clutching the little girl in one hand and her rifle in the other the young woman sees the shelter and smiles freedom being so close.

However a blaster bolt hits her leg causing her to fall and drop Mila.

"SERENA." Mika screams.

"NO MILA RU-" Serena yells back only to be but off by a blaster bolt going into her gear killing her.

Rushing over tears streaming Mila Clutxhes Serena's uniform as Comamnder Rampart approaches gun drawn followed by Alpha squad dragging an unconscious Carmiya and Luminara and Agan.

"Take the child." Rampart orders as one Rougjly grabs the screaming child.

This causes Carmiya to awaken and seeing Mila screaming in fear yells at the republic.

"You monsters shes just a child let her go or I swear I'll kill you all with my bare hands." She yells as she is dragged behind Mila and alpha squad.

Activating his comm Tarkin appears.

"Do you have them Comamnder." He asks .

A wicked smile appears on Ramparts face as be replies.

"Yes sir the bargaining chips are ours." He says coldly.
