Narrator: Titanic Clash on Morelia. With the arrival of a powerful republic army on the planet the Morelians are pushed back considerably.

However Avona resolves that she will defend her home or die Trying.

(Morelia 3rd person POV) 1 month after battle start.

On Morelia after 1 month of fierce fighting the republic had scored some key victories .

Quinlon Vos had seized the Morelian stronghold of Vyrana citadel but was too weak to rejoin Kenobi and plo at the front.

Anakin had taken citadel Izana and was currently in a death match for the town against the Morelian 12th army. During the initial stages he had them retreating in full but The 12th army had retreated to dug in positions just outside the town and was grinding the 501st down with heavy machine gun and artillery fire.

Mundi and windu were still in a fierce Battle for control of the two citadels Guarding the capital.

The Morelian forces guarding them were among the finest Morelia had to offer. Among the defenders were shadow troopers who were tearing into republic lines and killing many marines and troopers. It wasn't until Mundi and Windu personally intervened that the shadow troopers were forced to fall back.

It was still no clear winner and Tarkin was furious.

He had wanted a quick victory instead the Morelians were fighting him tooth and nail for every inch of ground.

"Sir news from the Vyrana front." A aid says pulling him out of his angry thoughts.

Reports: enemy defenses stronger than anticipated ten thousand men are dead. Requesting air support or request permission to fall back. Signed: PLO KOON

Placing it down on the table Tarkin Pinched the bridge of His nose.

"Jedi are so incompetent." He growled softly "Fine dispatch the tenth bomber wing and order them to target Vyrana's trench defenses and tell Mundi to press his assault now we are already behind schedule." Tarkin ordered annoyed by the set backs.

Nodding the air rushed to comply while tarkin turned back to the holo map.

(Izana Front).

"Fall back." Rex called as three more clones dropped dead behind him.

All over the front 501st soldiers jumped into craters throwing grenades and firing all guns at Izana's defenses.

To their credit the 501st was besieging the town and some units Had managed to infiltrate the town and so the Morelians defensive line was more shaky.

However as the 501st learned Morelians we're very Fanatic in defending their homes and often would fight to the death rather than allow the clones any breathing room.

Anakin rushed to Rex's side a grin on his face.

"General what for you in such a Good mood." Rex questioned though he had his suspicions.

"I've got a plan to break into Izana." He tells Rex while deflecting blaster bolts. "If we launch a three pronged assault it may stretch the Morelians thin and allow us to break through." He says optimistically.

Rex however was still skeptical. "And who would lead these attacks and don't forget Morelians are fanatic defenders so an attack will be met with fierce resistance no matter how outnumbered they are." Rex pointes out.

Anakin still smirks. "Not if we attack at different times. I'll attack from the west and 20 minutes later you'll come in from the south.

We've already established a bulge into the Morelians southern lines so it'll be easier to break through there.

And after 20 more minutes ahsoka will come in from the north and with our combined forces we should be able to break through completely." Anakin says looking to see if red agrees.

Nodding his head in agreement rex moves to tell his men while skywalker goes to gather his.

At the western district of Izana a force of just 800 men is patrolling when they see hundreds of clones charging them a Jedi in the lead.

"ASSUME DEFENSIVE FORMATION AND FIRE." A major yells to his men who immediately race to the machine gun nests and fire back.

Soon the clones enter a hail fire of explosions and blaster bolts as they struggle forward amidst stubborn Morelian resistance.

Fortunately the western district was more lightly defended so the clones found progress easier. That changed when a Morelian Tracker Battalion joined the battle and began to push the clones back.

However just as planned Rex launches his attack and the Commander in charge of Izana's defense is forced to divert men from the north to shore up the south while the western forces are still in heavy combat.

Spying at the Morelians through her binoculars Ahsoka smirks.

"You ready Lieutenant Vaughn." She says grabbing her light sabers.

"Oh yeah Comamnder." Vaughn replies drawing his rifle followed by his men.

Rushing forward just as planned only Ahsoka had a change that she didn't tell Anakin. She suspected the Morelians would be suspicious so she waited an extra ten minutes before attacking.

Luckily it worked out and the morelians in the north were so in prepared that ahsoka raced forward and soon all three attacks linked up and captured the Morelian defenders.

Walking around the town Anakin found Ahsoka talking to Vaughn.

"Snips." He called out Getting her attention. "From here on out you're going to remain here and guard the town with Vaughn."

"Why." Ahsoka questioned.

"With how strong this town was who knows how strong the capital will be I just don't want you to get hurt." He says honestly.

Ahsoka just smiles and nods her head in agreement knowing her master means well.

(Vyrana front).

Cody ducks as dirt and debris fly over his head. For the last month the 212th and 104th had been fighting against stubborn Morelian trench lines and had barely made any progresss.

And they had been repeatedly denied air support because Tarkin was prioritizing other fronts of the campaign.

Cody had just received a reply in their latest request and it was the best he'd heard all month. The tenth Bomber wing was on the way to soften up morelian defenses and they were to prepare to make a charge.

Rushing to the temporary Command base Cody sees Plo and Obi wan in deep conversation about the current situation.

"We need to pull back and await reinforcements if we stay any longer we will be wiped out." Kenobi states pointing to the hologram of the battlefield.

"Agreed if we fall back to the Citadel we can use it as a staging point to hold firm and hopefully trap the Morelians in a killing zone." Plo replies.

Clearing his throat Kenobi and plo turn to face Cody.

"Ah Cody what's the word from the fleet." Obi wan questions hoping for good news.

"We will be having bomber support to help us overwhelm the enemy trench lines." Cody reports eager to end this blood bath.

Soon the sound of Y-wings are heard and exiting the command bunker they see 20 bombers fly over the Morelian Trenches and immediately drop their pay loads.

"CHARGE." Kenobi yells to the troops as he and plo ignites their blades and rush forward.

Stunned Morelians immediately fall or surrender to the incoming enemy forces.

The rest fall back to the city which suddenly loses its shield.

'I'll have to thank Captain Vector for knocking that out.' Kenobi thinks to himself smirking as he continues charging.

However soon his holo communicator starts beeping and Tarkin appears. "General Kenobi halt your attack at once we are going to soften it up with an aerial Bombardment." Tarkin says sounding bored.

Kenobi just shook his head. "Negative Grand General we just take this city Manually or else Avona may retaliate." Kenobi protested.

Tarkin scowled as he angrily replied. "Avona is history and has not the means not power to bomb coruscant now stand down."

Shaking his head Kenobi hangs up as he urges the men to hurry towards the city.

In Vyrana there is panic in the streets as soldiers rush to outskirts prepared to defend their homes to the death.

However watching this all calmly is Meetra Surik. She was still wearing her armor and had returned from the battle in space to join General Andor in the city's defense.

One of Andors colonels was ranting. "We must send every Available soldier into battle to fend off the republic."

However Meetra shakes her head. "And lose more men senselessly I think not." She replies angrily.

"Why does it matter their just lowly soldiers all that matters is us achieving a victory and crushing the republic." He replies arrogantly.

Meetra snaps and marches up to the arrogant colonel grabbing him by the neck and slamming him against the wall. "Say that again and I promise you prison will
Be the least of your worries."

Scared out of his mind he nodded. Growling Meetra threw him into some nearby crates and turned to Andor.

"General take your armies and defend this city I will deal with the Jedi and this time they won't escape." She says coldly.

Nodding Andor turned to his staff as they began to furiously reorganize the Units left to guard the city.

Entering into the northern Scetion quinlon with reinforcements charges the Morelian 33rd infantry division and takes them by surprise over powering them.

Vos angered at why he was told Morelia had down to civilians didn't hesitate to cut down every soldier who crossed his path.

Shocked by their generals aggression the clones begin to feel in easy.

However on roof tops snipers and Rocket launchers fire on them while machine gun nests keep them pinned in the city.

Furious Quinlon jumps to the roofs and wipes them out while his forces move forward.

Some Morelians charge Vis with nothing more than Vibro knives and blades while He continues his relentless assault.

Eventually he wiped out two more infantry companies as his men advance forward only to hear a chilling laugh.

"So this is what the Jedi have be on how disappointing. Here you stand killing soldiers who are simply defending their homes from a cruel Invader.

Tell me master Jedi where is the difference between them and you." Meetra questions him.

Growling Vos charges her screaming. "Your nothing more than a good for nothing traitor you wield that white lightsaber and yet you fight against the very people you are sworn to protect."

Vos unleashed a fury of attacks on Meetra but she remained calm and just deflected them.

Eventually the two were caught in a saber lock and Meetra began to Laugh.

"Ahhahaha you claim I fight against teh people im sworn to protect if that were the case then why hasn't the Parliament or the president or General Avona tried me for crimes hmm.

I'll tell you why it's because I don't see through the blind lens of the Jedi and my Conscience is Clear whom you all serve a corrupt senate blindly." She says mockingly as she throws him back before kicking him into a wall.

Meanwhile on the streets of Vyrana wolf and
Cody's men continue to fight tooth and nail for the city.

Morelians using the buildings as cover rain down grenades on the advancing republic and use rockets to destroy their heavy weapons.

The Jedi meanwhile were doing everything they could to protect their men while leading them forward.

"Master Plo I lost contact with master Vos." Kenobi tells Plo while deflecting several Blaster bolts.

"How the northern section was supposed to be weakened. Have you tried the other officers with him." Plo questioned hoping for good news.

"No I've got nothing I think they are either dead or captured." Obi wan replied sadly.

Looking down plo takes a deep breath before steeling himself.

"We wills advance on the city center once we've taken the city maybe we will be able to locate master Vos and his men." Plo said hopefully.

Nodding his head Kenobi renewers the gray as clones and TK troopers continue to rush forward.

However unbeknownst to the Jedi Meetra gave an order for the remaining defenders to fall back to the capital. By now most soldiers of Morelia knew what Avona's true plan was and so Jo one argued when the order came to retreat.

For several days the republic would continue to struggle. However inevitably they broke through the last defensive position before the city center but as they rushed in they were met by a sight they couldn't believe.

A black armored Mandalorian with 30 shadow troopers stood over the kneeling figures of the men under Quinlon.

And the black Mandalorian held a wounded Quinlon by his neck.

"So the Jedi have finally come for their little friend how predictable." She mocks while kicking Quinlon to the ground.

"Release him at once." Plo commands maintaining his cool.

"Ahhahahahah I think not." She replies while igniting her white lightsaber stunning both men.

"Your a warrior of balance why do you fight against us then the Jedi the embodiment of peace and serenity." Kenobi asked confused.

"Simple because I refuse to serve a corrupts senate and I refuse to make children slaves to my will.

The confederacy is true Freedom and it's time for the republic to end." She declares charging the two Jedi while the shadow troopers and republic soldiers engaged in fierce   Close quarters combat.

However despite outnumbering the strange force user plo and Kenobi were on the back foot constantly.

Eventually plo nicked her side forcing her to back off a little.

"Enough of this." Meetra growled before pushing even harder against the Jedi.

Swiftly kicking Obi wan into a wall she fought plo one on one.

"Why do you fight for the republic can't you see they have done unspeakable things against their own people.

The confederacy never wanted war and yet when we tried to talk peacefully the republic attacked us.

The republic only cares about the fire and their wealth and power not about the billions of people who need its protection and aid." She said slicing at plo with every word.

Plo was visibly shaken and suddenly he lowers his blade.

"Your right we Jedi have become blind and every time a discussion arises about change in the republic it is always swept away under grounds the republic doesn't need correction." He admits while kneeling.

"Tell me what must I do." He asks sincerely.

Meetra smiles under her helmet as she clips her lightsaber.

"Just rebel inside the system let the force guide you to strengthen you to make the changes needed for the Jedi to be stronger and more resilient than ever." She told him honestly.

Nodding his head plo moves to rejoin his men but Meetra calls to him.

"I will yield this city to you to avoid unnecessary bloodshed please remember what I said." She says while jumping To a roof top and disappearing.

Eventually the republic controlled Vyrana. However plo continued to ponder on the words from the supposed traitor to the Jedi.

(Capital Front)

Unlike the calm level head leadership of plo and Obi wan. Or the decisive yet cautious leadership of Anakin and Ahsoka.

Mundi and windu were growing annoyed in comparison they Had only just managed to dot bypass and lay siege to the two citadels guarding the capital.

However unlike the Morelians Guarding Vyrana they were more mobile and were using heavy weapons to drain the republic lines.

They were also conducting a fighting with draw back to the capital where they knew they could dig in along the capitals outer defensive lines.

Windu became increasingly frustrated when Morelians would only fight for a brief period and take many soldiers down with them before withdrawing again to regroup.

"Stand and fight you cowards." He yelled to a retreating Tank division.

"Um NO HOW ABOUT YOU COME GET US JEDI SCUM." A soldier yells back to him.

Growing angered windu was about to charge forward again when a clone Comamnder came up to him.

"Master Jedi we need to regroup with master Mundi he's currently in a fierce battle with the Morelian 7th tank army."

Sensing the clone commander was right mace rushed To aid his friend.

Mundi meanwhile was engaged in a fierce battle against Morelian forces as morelian ya kid continued to destroy his remaining heavy weapons.

Clones tried to protect the tanks and other heavy weapons but the Morelian vehicles were more maneuverable and Morelians had better training and weapons So clones had to be carful.

"Hold firm men." Mundi called out while cutting down several morelians before using the force to launch morelian tanks Into each other.

Eventually master windu joined the battle with his men and the two began to push back the morelian defenders once again.

(Morelian palace Avona POV).

"Excellent." I said aloud shocking alson and Revan who were with me

"What's up mam." Alson asked curiously.

Smiling I pressed a few buttons and the hologram of the battle fronts appeared.

"The republic has taken Vyrana and Izana just like I planned and now the three republic Battle groups are surrounding the capital." I said gleefully.

Also looked horrific at my news and why I was so happy.

"Mam how can you be so happy the capital is the last stronghold left." She said probably frightened at our military situation

Revan just laughed. "You see young Alson this was our Mistresses plan the whole time. She knew the republic would target Izana because it's the capital supply base and Vyrana cause it's the second largest city.

However why the republic failed to realize was the fact that a span had only used some scattered armies and not the full blown power of Morelia.

You see young one Avona is simply bidding her time." He says while pulling up a hologram.

"That's that's." Alson says stunned at the sight before her.

"Yes Alson it's the City of Zerona the last stronghold we possess but also the least significant or at least that's what the republic thinks." I said pulling up a few more holograms,

The first showed fleets of stealth Bombers on Zerona Air fields.

The second one showed thousands of troops and hundreds of tanks.

"This my dear Alson is the true power of Morelia and once these troops attack.

The republic will be made to Kneel." I said while laughing soon the other two joined me as we envisioned our ultimate Triumph.
