AN: I thought for today in remembrance of the Christmas Truce of ww1 I'd do another special the day after Christmas this takes place during the battle of Morelia from Ahsoka Tano's perspective mostly).

(Ahsoka).

As my master raced ahead to attack the capital I was left in Izana with a small Garrison of Troops and my fear could not be overstated.

We were miles deep in enemy territory and I only had a couple thousand to hold the town against any Morelian attack.

To make matters worse we were low on supplies and I knew I only had enough to maintain a defense for roughly 3 weeks.

But I had hope that we would win and that soon this war would be over.

(Time skip to the retreat).

"Commander Tano our supply depot was just bombed we have almost nothing left if relief doesn't arrive soon we're finished." Captain Vaghun informed me.

"There won't be any relief Captain, the generals are in full retreat and our air support is gone, have the men dig in if we're going to die it will be fighting to the last man." I ordered my resolve hardening.

2 days later however the attacks just stopped and I was curious. I only had 600 fighting men alive and over 300 wounded so Avona could've just wiped us out in only one more attack so why didn't she.

As I was pondering this a scout returned and stood at attention.

"Mam you won't believe this but I heard the sounds of singing from the enemy tenches."

Ahsokas Eyes widened in surprise she was about to speak until another clone beat her to it.

"Now that you say that it appears that they also aren't as aggressive as they were yesterday."

After hearing this Ahsokas mind raced as she tried to figure out what this could mean.

'Either they were ordered to stop to lure us into a false sense of security or they have orders from the top to just cease hostilities temporarily for something,"

Deciding on her next course of action Ahsoka requested a speeder and raced forward to the enemy front lines to see for herself if this was true,

Racing beyond the border Ahsoka nearly aged at the sight before her, dead clone bodies and destroyed equipment layed everywhere.

As she dismounted she noticed a group of Morelian soldiers and one of Avona's knights standing in front of a bunch of bodies covered in blankets.

"In life we celebrated with you, now In death we celebrate and remember you go now and find peace in the after life." Alson says sinking to her knees and bowing an action followed by her men.

Ahsoka initially grabbed her saber but once she realized they weren't hostile she approached them slowly.

Some of the soldier spot her but they don't A. Open fire, B. Raise an alarm.

Deciding to take her chances she moved closer and saw much to her shock white boots of clones laying under some blankets.

"They too deserved to be remembered not just our men." Alson says standing up her helmet under her arm.

"Why why have you stopped attacking us." Ahsoka questions.

"Because on Life Day there's no reason to fight a war that is senseless." Alson says before pulling out a ration bar and some sweets handing them to Ahsoka.

"Here you look pretty exhausted and hungry thsi should help." She says placing them in Ahsokas hand

Staring at the food and candy Alson's words began to ring with Ahsoka causing her to ponder.

the war had taken many lives and further more as far as she and others were concerned Avona wasn't in the wrong to fight against the republic.

Another fact is currently she and her men were abandoned by the republic and many others and she knew that without supplies her troops would suffer more.

Knowing Morelia was a signatory of the Naboo convention she decided to urge her men to surrender.

"General you think your leader would be willing to accept my surrender and can you give aid to our wounded as well."

Alson just smiles at Ahsokas Reply before turning to a soldier. "Sargent head back to our command base and contact the capital let them know we will be having some guests for life day."

"Yes mam." The officer replies before racing off to execute her orders.

An hour later clones were seated on transports bound for the Capital.

Once they arrived instead of being cuffed clones were surprised to see the Morelian people putting up weird decorations as they exchanged greetings and gifts.

Surprising the clones Alson turned to them and smiled. "Go on come join us in our celebrations." She says as some of the Morelian soldiers bring the clones to their favorite holiday spots.

At one point Ahsoka found herself with a cup of hot cocoa as she locked at a large Life day Tree,

Smiling Ahsoka felt a tug at her hand looking down she sees a young girl smiling at her holding a present.

"Happy life day mam." She says handing her the present before running back to her family.

Ahsoka stared at the oddly wrapped Gift for about ten minutes trying to piece together what just happened until a soldier came up to her.

"You're supposed to open it." He says with a chuckle.

Shrugging Ahsoka tears the present open and is surprised by a ribbon with some chocolates as well.

Smiling she tied the bow around her as she looks at the tree.

(1 year later).

Earlier that week Ahsoka received an invitation to the palace by Avona for a life day party

Leaping into a speeder Ahsoka approaches the palace where she is greeted by the guards who seem to be more relaxed than usual as they smile at her and say.

"Happy life Day Ahsoka."

Smiling she returns the gesture as she enters the throne room Where Revan and members of the shadow order, Avona and Mila and Carmiya and the knights,

And various soldiers mingle wearing more relaxed outfits.

Seeing Ahsoka Avona Approacehs her and wraps an arm around her. "Merry life Day Ahsoka." She says with a smile.

Smiling back the group party all night as Shaak Ti eventually joins them and hugs Ahsoka.

Ahsoka was now more grateful for Morelia and Avona's open and welcoming personality that gave her a new life.
