Avona was born into a wealthy core world family. The family was the Gozanni family and they were incredibly influential in the galaxy's star ship production and House building industry. Avona was the oldest of the 3 children and was the heir to her father's massive business empire.

During the events of phantom Menace. Avona was 9 and she was very happy with her life she went to school and often went with her mother to charity organizations to help improve the lives the people of the republic.

The Gozanni family was loved by many as they often hired workers even if they weren't physically capable of doing hard labor it didn't matter they found work for many people.

However despite their status as the 9th most wealthy family with their Company being major rivals to The trade Federation and Techno Union that brought danger but due to the family's major contracts with the republic and other wealthy systems they were protected.

However the Gozanni Family held a slight grudge against the Jedi who they hated mostly due to the Jedi taking children away form their families to supposedly become protectors of peace but they were essentially the corrupt senates enforcers.

The family had many enemies but due to the people's love for them the family had no complications with hiring a body guard force that often thwarted most assassination attempts.

However One night 3 years prior to the Civil war Avona was attending a charity event when she heard terrible news. Her Younger brother and parents were killed in a massive explosion at the family's Coruscant estate fortunately her youngest sister was still alive and Avona wasted no time in moving to their family estate on Morelia.

However she was livid. When she reported the assassination to the police they said they had more pressing concerns and the Jedi refused to even look into it at all saying something along the lines of the will of the force and greed and anger preventing her from coming to terms with what happened.

When she and her sister arrived on Morelia She immediately doubled the Security at the estate and then she went to work.

Avona's new Business methods would eventually land her ownership of the Raxon drive yards a major shipbuilding company in the outer rim and the biggest rival to the Kuat drive yards. She also Put a lot of money and effort into improving the economy of the Morelia system and her new reforms lowered the planets Poverty by 60% and jobs were plentiful. The people were so grateful that they made Avona the new planetary Governor at the age of 18. One of her reforms was growing the planetary garrison and giving them new armor and weapons.

(AN: the soldier on the cover is essentially what these new garrison soldiers look like and their main rifle essentially picture an AAI ACR Assault rifle that shots blaster bolts instead of bullets that's their main weapon). 

She also began purchasing Mining equipment and acquired owner ship of the vast mines of the Karnack system However she also Donated millions of credits to Improve The Karnack Systems economy and its population was soon experiencing a major Quality of life improvement And using the new resources from the mines she built The Morelia weapons Factory which was kept far away from civilisation so as to not threaten them in any way and Avona used a new fuel source that would prevent pollution form killing her new home world.

However unbeknownst to many in the republic Avona changed her original name to Avona and changed her sister's name to Lexie to prevent them from being discovered and targeted by crime lords and mercenaries or the republic seeking the power of the Gozanni Family fortune. Which is why she placed one of her father's trusted Advisors as the new head of the Gozanni family fortune cause due to his loyalty He wouldn't make any deals with the power he now possessed without Avona's consent and she gradually worked to undermine the republic from the inside and they had no idea.

And her master plan was consolidating her support of the people by improving their lives and bringing the poor of Coruscant to Morelia to improve their lives.

IT was a public victory for Avona and a Humiliation for the republic when the people started calling her the Angel of Freedom

On her 19th Birthday she received an Unexpected Visitor. The count of Sereno Dooku And he had a interesting proposal for Avona.
