The stories must be relatively short. This does not mean poorly written or lacking description.

The setting will be anytime after Return of the Jedi, during the New Republic Era, and until the end of that Era. (See Branding for more information.)

Entire books will need to be forgone for this reason, however excerpts from a larger book may be submitted, and the tag "Excerpt from [[Book Name]]" will be added to the end of the story.
