As Kyle Katarn's fleet jumped out of Hyperspace, they reached the desolate world of Cyclonia. They soon found a large fleet of Imperial Star Destroyers blockading the planet. As the center of the blockade was X2's personal Star Destroyer. Immediately, the Star Destroyers began firing on Katarn's fleet as TIE Fighters were deployed.

Katarn: Looks like they know we're here! All hands to battle stations!

With that, an intense space battle broke out between Katarn's fleet and the Imperial blockade. Rebel Starfighters were immediately deployed to counter the TIE Fighters. The Storm Hawks boarded the Condor while Dove and her squad got in their Starfighters. As the Condor entered the battle, X1 coordinated the assault from the bridge of his personal Star Destroyer. 

X1: Focus all fire on the capitol ships. I want that fleet wiped out. 

As the Star Destroyers focused fire on Katarn's fleet, Katarn's fleet was soon under fire. Katarn's capitol ship took the biggest beating as TIE Fighters began to swarm on the capitol ship. 

New Republic Ensign: Commander Katarn! The fleet's taking a heavy beating! 

Katarn: Raise the shields! 

Meanwhile on the Condor, Stork piloted the ship while Finn and Aerrow took control of the Condor's heavy guns. 

Aerrow: Captain! There's TIE Fighters heading your way! 

Finn: I got this, hotshot! 

As the TIE Fighters converged on the Condor, Finn lands a shot at one of the TIE Fighters, hitting one of the wings. This causes the TIE Fighter to spin out of control and takes out the other TIE Fighters. 

Finn: That's five for me so far!

As the Condor continued shooting down TIE Fighters, the Storm Hawks were contacted by Kyle Katarn via intercom. 

Katarn(Intercom): Storm Hawks, this is Commander Katarn! The fleet is taking heavy fire! I repeat, the fleet is taking heavy fire! We need immediate assistance or this is going to be one short assault!

Aerrow: We need to take out the main Star Destroyer! If we can cut the head off the snake, then the rest of the blockade will fall apart!

X2: Not gonna be possible, Aerrow! X1's Star Destroyer is armed with hundreds of turboblasters and dozens of ion cannons! A frontal assault won't work!

Piper: What if we could infiltrate the Star Destroyer and sabotage it from the inside?

X2: That could work, but the only problem is that shield. As long as those shields are up, boarding that Star Destroyer will be impossible!

Katarn(Intercom): Say no more, I'm deploying Delta Squad to help you lay down fire on that Star Destroyer. Do whatever you can to bring that Star Destroyer down!

As Katarn said this, Dove's voice was heard as a squadron of X-Wings and Y-Bombers began to form up around the Condor. 

Dove(Intercom): Storm Hawks, this is Delta Leader, awaiting orders! 

X2 smiled as Dove and her squadron formed up around the Condor in a manner similar to the formations used by Clone Pilots during the Clone Wars. X2 began to issue orders to Dove and her squadron. 

X2: Delta Leader, this is Commander X2. Maintain a strong and tight formation. Have the Bombers fall back while the X-Wings protect them. We'll keep the Imperials off of you! We're going for the shield generator dome. If we take out those generators, we'll be able to take get inside that Star Destroyer!

Stork: Didn't you just say that a frontal assault wouldn't work?!

Aerrow: As powerful as a Star Destroyer is, shooting down several small targets won't be easy. The real problem will be those TIE Fighters. 

Piper: We will not fail. We have come to far to fail now. 

X2: All right, Delta Squad! It's time we take down those shields!

With that, the Condor led Delta Squad in a bombing run to take down the Star Destroyer's shields so that they may board the Star Destroyer. Meanwhile on the bridge of his Star Destroyer, X1 continued to coordinate the assault on Katarn's fleet. Soon enough, an Imperial Ensign approached X1.

X1: What is it, Ensign?

Imperial Ensign: Commander, we've detected enemy starfighters heading our way. The Condor is leading them. 

X1 looked out from the bridge window and saw the Condor and Delta Squad flying towards the Star Destroyer. He was quick to notice the formation they were flying in. He was quick to recognize it. 

X1: I know that formation. Ensign, deploy the TIE Interceptors. I want those starfighters destroyed. 

Imperial Ensign: Yes, Commander!

With that, the Imperial Ensign followed X1's orders. Meanwhile, the Storm Hawks escorted Delta Squad towards the Star Destroyer's bridge.

Stork: Guys! I'm picking up TIE Interceptors!

X2: Looks like X1's figured out what we're doing. Dove! We got your squad covered! Protect those bombers! 

Dove(Intercom): Copy, commander!

X2: Captain! We need to focus fire on those TIE Interceptors! We need to protect those bombers at all costs! 

With that, the Condor broke off from the formation and took the fight to the TIE Interceptors, shooting down several of them in the process. A group of them managed to slip past the Condor and attempt to destroy the Y-Wings. As the TIE Interceptors were about to fire on the Y-Wings, Dove managed to intercept the TIE Interceptors and shoot them down. Dove smiled as Delta Squad continued moving towards their objective. As the Condor covered for Delta Squad, Dove spoke to her squadron. 

Dove: All right, Delta Squad! This is our chance! Give it everything you've got!

Without hesitation, the Y-Wings broke off from the formation and began a bombing run with Dove and the X-Wings providing covering fire. The Y-Wings then proceeds to fire proton torpedoes at both of the shield generator domes, destroying them. Inside the bridge of the Star Destroyer, the Imperial Ensign reports the loss of the deflector shields. 

Imperial Ensign: Commander! We've lost all defector shields! 

X1: Alert the ship. I want all personal ready for battle. They're going to board the ship. Stop them. 

With that, X1 prepared all personal within his Star Destroyer for a fight he knew was coming. Meanwhile at the Condor, X2 smiles at Dove's success. 

X2: Good job, Dove! Get your squad out of there! We'll take it from here!

With that, Dove took Delta Squad away from X1's Star Destroyer to aid the rest of Katarn's fleet. As Delta Squad cleared the area, the Condor boarded the Star Destroyer with the intention of sabotaging the Star Destroyer so that Kyle Katarn's fleet would continue the assault on Cyclonia.
