As the battle between the New Republic and the rogue Imperial forces raged on Cyclonia, Kyle Katarn's fleet clashed with the remnants of the Imperial fleet. Much like the ground war, the battle in the skies above the Sith Temple reached a stalemate. In the bridge of his capital ship, Kyle Katarn coordinates the attack. He then speaks to a New Republic officer.

Katarn: What's the status of our ground forces?

New Republic Officer: The Imperials have dug their heels deep in that temple.

Katarn quickly realized that if this stalemate continued, the New Republic's attack on Cyclonia could be compromised. Suddenly, a squadron of Imperial bombers began closing in on the bridge of Katarn's capital ship.

New Republic Officer: Commander Katarn! We've got bombers incoming!

Katarn: Intensifie forward firepower! I don't want those bombers shot down!

As the capital ship's laser cannons fired on the TIE Bombers, but the TIE Bombers were able to dodge the barrage of laser fire. As the TIE Bombers closed in on the capital ship's bridge, it seemed as if Katarn's capital ship was about to be destroyed. Suddenly, the TIE Bombers where shot out of the sky. The next thing they saw was the Condor flying past the bridge. Meanwhile on the Condor, Finn and Junko manned the Condor's guns while Stork piloted the ship.

Junko: Nice shot, Captain!

Finn: We're just getting started, Junko! 

Stork: Captain! We've got more TIE Fighters on our tail! 

Junko: Leave that to me! 

Junko then fired on the TIE Fighters, picking them off without much problem. Stork continued to pilot the Condor through the battlefield. Finn and Junko continued to pick off TIE Fighters using the Condor's guns. to shoot down any TIE Fighters that they came across. As the battle in the skies continued to rage, the Condor was soon attacked by a squadron of TIE Interceptors. 

Finn: Damn! Looks like things are about to get a little heated. Stork! Let's try to shake these guys off! Junko and I will hold them off for you!

Stork: We're doomed....

Despite his pessimism, Stork piloted the Condor to the best of his abilities. The TIE Interceptors proved difficult to shake off as they kept pace with the Condor. One of the Interceptors fires on on the Condor, landing a devastating strike in the process. The shot causes some of the Condor's weapons systems to shut down. 

Finn: Stork! We've lost power to the main guns!

Stork: I'm already working on it, Captain! Don't expect any miracles! I can't fix the guns and keep the Condor in the air! I don't do well under pressure! 

Finn: Just keep the Condor flying! Junko, go see if you can reboot the Condor's weapons systems!

Junko: On it, Captain! 

Junko got up and ran for the Condor's weapons mainframe. As Junko gets one of the Condor's internal computers, he attempts to reboot the weapons systems to no avail. Meanwhile, Finn makes his way to the cockpit to help Stork with maneuvering the Condor. 

Finn: Looks like we got some real ace pilots on our hands! How's our shields? 

Before Stork could answer, the Condor was hit by another devastating shot from the TIE Interceptors. 

Stork: That shot left our shields at 15%. One more shot will take out our shields and the shot after that will be our last!

Finn: We're not going down without a fight! Just keep the Condor flying! 

As Finn and Stork continued to keep the Condor flying, Junko continues attempting to reboot the Condor's weapons systems. Every attempt failed as time was running out. 

Junko: Why won't you start?!

It was at this point that Junko began to lose hope. He felt completely useless as he couldn't reboot the mainframe. But thoughts of his friends spurred him on.  

Junko: No! I can't give up! My friends are counting on me! I can't let them down!

Junko then once more attempts to reboot the Condor's weapons mainframe. Much to his surprise and relief, the weapons systems were back online. 

Junko: Captain! The weapons systems are back online!

Finn: Good job, buddy! Get back up here and help me man those guns!

With the Condor's weapons systems back online, Finn and Junko manned the Condor's guns and worked on taking out the TIE Interceptors. After an intense dogfight, the Condor was able to best the TIE Interceptors and shoot them down. 

Junko: We got em, Captain!

Finn: Don't get cocky, Junko! We're not out of the woods yet! 

As Finn said that, a group of TIE Fighters were closing in on the Condor. The TIE Fighters were quickly shot down by Dove's squadron. Finn couldn't help but smirk. 

Finn: Things are getting better by the minute!

Suddenly, one of the X-Wings in Dove's squadron was shot down by a TIE Fighter. Immediately, the Condor rushed to assist Dove's squadron. 

Finn: All right, Junko! Let's help ease the pressure! 

Junko: Already on it, Finn!

The Condor rushed into battle, shooting down the TIE Fighters attacking Dove's squadron. During the dogfight, Dove was locked in an intense battle with a TIE Fighter. During the intense dogfight, the Condor swoops in and helps Dove take down the TIE Fighter. In the cockpit of the Condor, Stork continues to pilot the Condor while the Condor takes damage. 

Stork: Come on....don't fail me now....

As the battle intensified, the Condor continues to aid the New Republic's air assault on the rogue Imperial forces. During the fight, the Condor continues to take damage. The nonstop fighting takes it's toll on the Condor. 

Finn: How's the Condor, Stork?!

Stork: Hull integrity is critical. All essential systems are on critical. Any more hits will mean we all die in a fiery explosion. 

Finn: If we're going out, we're going out fighting. 

Stork: And to think I'm here because you cheat in that card game. 

Finn: But you stayed, didn't you? 

Stork: Because you and Junko said that there was no other pilot in the Galaxy who could pilot the Condor like me. 

Junko: You're not wrong, Stork! You are the best pilot for the Condor!

Stork: And now here we are about to die fighting a war we had no business fighting. 

Finn: Look on the bright side, Stork. If we make it out this alive, we'll be rewarded handsomely for this. 

Stork: That is if we survive and that's a big if. 

As Stork said this, Finn and Junko couldn't help but chuckle. Even Stork couldn't help but chuckle. 

Stork: Despite the...present circumstances, I suppose dying with you two isn't such a bad thing. 

Finn: Don't get sentimental on me, Stork. We're not done yet! The Condor still has some fight in her and I'll be damned if I let the Condor get shot down by some buckethead! If we're going out, we're going out in a blaze of glory! 

In that moment, the three smugglers turned freedom fighters made the decision to keep on fighting. If this was the Condor's last flight, then the Condor would go out in a blaze of glory.
