After reaching Dathomir, the Storm Hawks began searching Dathomir for the missing Republic agents. As they moved through the desolate world, they came across the ruins of a Nightsister village. The skeletal remains of Nightsisters as well as the remains of Separatist Battle Droids. 

Aerrow: Battle Droids. I remember General Kota telling me stories about them during the Clone Wars. Never thought I'd see one up close. 

Finn: Good thing they're just rotting rust buckets now. Last thing we need is more problems. 

As they continued exploring Dathomir, the dark presence Piper sensed grew stronger. Soon enough, the Storm Hawks reached the outer gates of what appeared to be an Imperial facility. 

Finn: Whoa. Looks like the Empire's been busy. 

Aerrow: That has to be where the Republic agents are. 

As the Storm Hawks stood before the outer gates, it was clear to Piper that the dark presence was coming from this facility. X2 looked around and saw a broken down wall near the outer gates. 

X2: There's our way in. Keep your guard up. 

The Storm Hawks entered the facility through the broken down wall. Once inside, they found that the facility was crawling with Stormtroopers. 

Piper: There's....there's something dark here. I can sense.

Junko: I don't like the looks of this place, guys!

Finn: I'm with Junko. There's something about this place that's got me on edge. Why the hell would someone make this place their base. 

Piper: I don't know, but we have a job to do. Those Republic agents need our help. We can't abandon them!

Aerrow: Piper's right. The sooner we find those Republic agents, the sooner we can all get out of here. 

With that, the Storm Hawks began moving through the facility in search for the Republic agents. They soon made their way to the main building. As soon as they made their way inside, alarms began to blare throughout the facility. 

Finn: Blast it! The whole facility knows we're here!

X2: We'll hold off the Imps! Dove, you are your squad are with me! The rest of you find those agents!

Aerrow: Are you sure? That's a lot of Imps heading our way. 

X2: Don't worry about us. We're doing our job so you can do yours. 

With that, the Storm Hawks moved on while X2 along with Dove and her squadron stayed behind to hold off the Stormtroopers. As the Storm Hawks moved deeper into the building, they encountered heavy Imperial resistance. 

Finn: These bucketheads don't know when to quit!

Piper: We must keep pushing forward!

Piper used her Lightsaber to cover her fellow Storm Hawks as she cuts them down. Aerrow and Finn fired on a group of Stormtroopers while Junko provided covering fire. Soon enough, they uncovered a secret entrance which led them to a secret laboratory. 

Finn: Okay, I'm officially freaked out. 

Junko: What is this place?

Aerrow: It looks like some laboratory. 

As Piper stood inside the laboratory, Piper felt the darkness that lingered from within this place. The Storm Hawks moved carefully through the lab. As they moved deeper into the lab, they saw warped bodies inside cloning tanks. Piper walked to one of the pods and placed her hand on it. Immediately, she felt a disturbance in the Force and backed away.

Aerrow: What's wrong? 

Piper: This...this place is some kind of cloning lab. I....I think whoever's in charge of this facility was trying to clone....something.....

As Piper looked at the warped body that lay inside the cloning pod, she felt a familiar presence coming from the lab. It was a faint but she was able to recognize it. She looked around and a seemingly normal wall caught her attention. She walked up to the wall and pressed her hand against it. Following her instinct, she used the Force to break down the wall, revealing an adjoining room. As the Storm Hawks investigated the room, Piper knew exactly what the presence was. 

Piper: Dark Ace. This was Dark Ace's facility. 

Finn: How do you know? Wait, don't tell me. The Force? 

Piper: He's not here. But I can feel his presence. We'll have to search this room to find out what he was planning. 

Aerrow: Not to mention the location of the Republic agents. 

With that, the Storm Hawks began searching Dark Ace's office for any clues that could reveal his motivations. They soon found their answer through a datapad. Aerrow then proceeded to hack the datapad and managed to obtain a complete copy of his personal files. Upon reading the files, Aerrow looked to Piper. 

Aerrow: Piper....Dark Ace was trying to clone Force Sensitives. 

Piper: Cyclonis. This has to be her. 

Finn: And those Republic agents?

Aerrow: Dead. Dark Ace killed them and used their bodies as....test subjects. They're in one of the pods. 

Finn: Damn. Nobody deserves to go out like that. 

Piper looked upon the cloning vats with sadness in her eyes. She could feel the pain and suffering that took place here. It was the kind of pain and suffering that knew no name. But despite being in the presence of such cruelty, Piper maintained her composure. 

Piper: (Darth Cyclonis. Dark Ace. No matter what happens, I will end your reign of evil.)

As Piper swore that vow, the voice of Starling spoke to her. 

Starling(Voice): This is the kind of evil you're about to face. The time has come to face your destiny. 

In that moment, Piper knew what was to come next. 

Piper: Captain, contact Stork. Tell him to pick us up. Then we inform Commander Katarn about the lab. 

Finn: I was hoping you'd say that. I've had my fill of this place. 

Aerrow: And what's next, Piper?

Piper: It's time we finished this once and for all. 

In that moment, Piper felt ready to face Darth Cyclonis and Dark Ace. With their mission on Dathomir completed, the Storm Hawks promptly left Dathomir and prepared to meet up with Kyle Katarn to plan a full scale invasion of Cyclonia.
