As Aerrow, Finn and X2 went to disable the tractor beam, Junko led Piper and Starling through the Star Destroyer to reach the Condor. As they made their way, Starling began to feel lightheaded. 

Piper: Master! Are you okay?

Starling: I'm.....I'm fine. Give me a minute.

Junko: You need something? I got some stims I could give you!

Starling: It's fine Junko. I....I feel a disturbance in the Force. That....Darth Cyclonis's dark precense is overwhelming me.....

Piper held on to her master. Soon, Starling regained her composure and they continued navigating through the corridors. When they reached the door, it opened as Dark Ace stood behind it. 

Starling: Junko. Back to the ship.

Junko: What about you guys? I can't just leave you here!

Piper: Don't worry Junko. This is our fight. We'll catch up. 

Junko then began running in the other direction to avoid Dark Ace. The two Jedi walked up to the Inquisitor as they all readied their lightsabers. Dark Ace kept his eyes on Piper.

Dark Ace: You've become quite troublesome girl. 

Piper: Glad I can impress.

Dark Ace: I can feel you collective anger. Your hatred of me gives you strength. Gives you focus. You would've made fine Inquisitors. 

Piper began to feel a great anger swell over her. She wanted nothing more than to strike Dark Ace down with her lightsaber. Starling could feel the anger swelling over her. 

Starling: Easy Piper. We'll take him down together. 

The two Jedi got into their fighting stances as Dark Ace looked upon their stances with interest as he remembered how he defeated them the last time. Dark Ace made the first move as he lunged at Piper. Starling rushed to her side as three lightsabers clashed against one another.

Dark Ace: I recognize that stance Starling! Kota had that very same stance when I killed him!

Starling: I'm not Kota!

Dark Ace: You're right. You're not Kota. You're a sad and pathetic excuse for a Jedi! Tell me, when you abandoned Falon Gray, did he feel betrayed or did he sacrifice his life for yours?

Starling launched an aggressive attack on Dark Ace while Piper tried to overwhelm him, BUT Dark Ace Force Pushed her to a wall, knocking her down. Starling and Dark Ace soon fought an intense duel. 

Starling: My master gave his life so that I may carry out the will of the Jedi Order! I will not let you harm this girl!

Dark Ace: You will fall Starling! Like Kota and Gray before you! 

Starling: At least they died defending those precious to them! At least they're not cowards who turned on his comrades!

Starling pressed the assault on the Inquisitor, but he was able to keep up with her attacks. He soon unleashes a torrent of Force Lightning on Starling, but she blocks the attack and absorbs it into her lightsaber. She then deflected the attack onto Dark Ace, stunning him. 

Starling: (This is my chance to take him down once and for all!) For Master Kota! 

Starling charged at Dark Ace to deal the final blow, but the Inquisitor quickly recovered and launched a devastating attack on her. Meanwhile, Piper slowly got up and saw the fight unfold before her. 

Dark Ace: It's not too late to join Starling! Don't throw your life away like your master did!

Starling: I won't fall like you! I won't let your evil corrupt Piper!

Dark Ace: If you wish to fight like a Jedi, then you will die as all Jedi must!

Piper watched in shock and horror as Dark Ace began to overpower Starling. He soon had her at his mercy. 

Dark Ace: You should've joined me when you had the chance! Now you shall die!

As Dark Ace raised his lightsaber, Piper remembered this moment from her vision. She felt the Force itself surging from her body as emotions begin to overwhelm her.

Piper: NO!

Piper reached out to the Force and pushed Dark Ace away from Piper. Piper then grabbed her lightsaber and charged at him, but the Inquisitor blocks the attack. 

Dark Ace: Such anger. Such hatred. You would've made a fine Inquisitor! 

Piper: I'll never join you! 

Dark Ace: Don't let the foolish teachings of the Jedi destroy you as it did your mother!

Piper: SHUT UP ABOUT MY MOTHER!

Anger took control of Piper as she swung her lightsaber at Dark Ace. The Inquisitor was barely able to keep up with her attacks. Dark Ace then uses the Force to lift up several crates and throw them at her. Piper slices them up with her lightsaber. Dark Ace then presses the assault as he cleaves at her lightsaber. 

Dark Ace: Let your anger flow through you! 

Dark Ace then Force pushed Piper against the wall. Dark Ace then throws his lightsaber at her, but she barely dodges it. He then grips it with the Force and attacks her with it. Piper rolls out of the way and resumes the attack as Dark Ace continues cleaving at her. 

Piper: You won't win Inquisitor! We'll stop you and your masters!

Dark Ace: Try all you want girl! No matter what you do, you will fail! I will show you the true nature of the Force!

Piper gave it everything she got. Despite this, she was only able to land small slashes. Dark Ace soon begins to overpower Piper. 

Dark Ace: Your power is weak girl! 

As Dark Ace presses down on Piper, Starling gets up and Force pushes Dark Ace away. 

Piper: Master!

Starling: We must leave Piper! Hurry!

Piper looked at Dark Ace as he slowly got up. She then begins running where Starling was. Once they reunited, Starling slammed the door shut. 

Piper: Why are we running?! We have to....

Starling: That's not our mission! We have to leave this place! The others are waiting for us! 

Piper: But I......

Starling: We can't afford to stay behind! 

As Starling said that, Dark Ace's lightsaber pierces through the door. 

Starling: That won't hold him for long! Hurry!

Piper: Right!

Piper and Starling used the Force to enhance their speed to get away. When Dark Ace cuts through the door, he sees that the Jedi have escaped. He then contacts X1.

Dark Ace: Commander X1! The Jedi are heading towards the hanger bay! Keep the tractor beam active!

X1(Communicator): The Rebels have disabled the tractor beam beyond repair! I've sent a detachment of Stormtroopers to pursue. I will personally oversee their capture!

Dark Ace: Copy commander!

Dark Ace becomes frustrated as the Jedi have escaped his grasp. He lets his frustration and his anger fuel him as he pursues Piper and Starling while they attempt to escape from the Star Destroyer.
