After Piper was captured by Dark Ace, Aerrow and X2 were helping the survivors of the attack get to a medical facility within the Casino. As they do so, Finn, Junko and Radarr rendeavoused with them.

Finn: Where's the Jedi? 

Aerrow: They....hey took her! The bastards took her! 

Junko: Are you serious?! 

Aerrow: I couldn't stop them! I had one job and I failed it! Now Piper's in the hands of the Empire! 

Radarr chirped sadly in replied to that. Soon, Starling was carrying a wounded Suzy Lu. Seeing her injuries caught some of them off guard. X2 had seen his fair share of carnage and was no stranger to it. 

X2: Starling! Suzy Lu! Are you two okay?

Starling: I'm fine.....

Suzy Lu: I'll live, but Billy Rex...he didn't make it.

Finn: Damn. Poor kid.

As Aerrow looked at the carnage that lay before them, rage and guilt built up in him. He was tasked with protecting Piper from the Empire and he failed. The feelings he felt for her amplified the rage and guilt in him. He then punched a nearby wall.

Aerrow: Damn it! Damn it! I should've protected her! I.....I......

Starling: Calm yourself Aerrow. Letting your emotions get to you won't do anything to change that. 

Aerrow: I was tasked with protecting her! And I failed!

Starling: And I was tasked with training her in the ways of the Force. As her teacher, I bear the responsibility of this. As such, I'm going to stop it. 

Upon hearing Starling's words, everyone in the room was stunned. As Starling said that, Aerrow didn't hesitate to join. 

Aerrow: I'm coming with you! 

X2: If you think I'm going to let you face off against the Empire by yourself, think again! It would be my honor to fight by your side once more! It'll be just like old times!

Starling smiled at the two. Radarr then chirped excitedly while climbing on Aerrow's shoulder. He looked to Starling and raised a thumbs up. Aerrow chuckles. 

Aerrow: Don't worry Radarr! We won't leave you behind!

But Aerrow said that, Finn jumped into the conversation.

Finn: I didn't sign up for this! I've taken this job as far as it goes!

Aerrow: What are you saying?

Finn: This was supposed to be a simple delivery mission. I did the job you asked of me. Now it's time for me to leave. I'll take you where you need to go, but after that, I'm done.

Aerrow: Is money all you care about?!

Finn: You knew I was in it for the money from the moment you hired me! The only reason I went along with it as long as I did was because of the high pay you promised me. Since then, I've had my ship shot at by the Empire and the Raptor Clan! 

Aerrow looked at the Smuggler with contempt in his eyes. He wanted nothing more than to punch him, but he restrained himself. He knew it was pointless to debate morals with a Smuggler.

Aerrow: Once you deliver us where you need to go, I'll give you the location of the vault. Just hope you can live with yourself......

Finn didn't say a word to Aerrow. He simply looks to Junko. 

Finn: Junko. Tell Stork to start up the Condor. Get everyone on board. 

Junko: What about you?

Finn: I want to settle some private business with Suzy Lu. 

Without hesitation, Junko led the others to the Condor, leaving Finn alone with a wounded Suzy Lu. 

Finn: Suzy.....I'm sorry about Billy. He.....he was a good kid. He didn't deserve what he got....

Finn then looked to the stump where her hand used to be. He had never seen the result of a lightsaber severing a limb before.

Finn: Does it hurt?

Suzy Lu: The only thing I give it credit for is that the pain only lasts a few minutes. So you're leaving me again huh? 

Finn: Don't worry. Once I get the reward, you'll get your cut along with a bonus for your loss.

Suzy Lu: For a womanizing Smuggler, you're a decent man.

Finn: Heh. I have my moments.

Suzy Lu then pulled Finn over for a kiss, seemingly forgiving him for his past actions. When the kiss ended, Suzy slaps him. 

Suzy: Just so you know, you still owe me a wedding!

Finn: Hehe. Take care.

After that, Finn got on the Condor and flew away from Nar Shaddaa to rescue Piper. Meanwhile on the bridge of X1's Star Destroyer, Dark Ace speaks with X1.

Dark Ace: Where is the girl?

X1: In your quarters as requested. 

Dark Ace: And Repton?

X1: He and his Raptor Clan are resupplying and refueling their ship. They've been given their payment. 

Dark Ace: Good. I shall attend to the girl. See to it that I'm not disturbed. 

X1: As you wish. 

Dark Ace then enters his private quarters where Piper was bound to a Force Field Generator. She was still unconscious from her fight.

Dark Ace: Wake up Piper.

Piper soon wakes up and finds herself in the hands of Dark Ace and the Empire. She tries to break free, but is unable to.

Dark Ace: You are strong in the Force, but not that strong.

Piper: What do you want from me?!

Dark Ace: You connection to the Force is strong. Such power would be wasted in hiding. It would be an even greater waste for it to be snuffed out. 

Piper: I'd rather die than join the Empire! You might as well kill me now!

The Inquisitor lets out a sinister laugh, unnerving Piper.

Dark Ace: You truly are the daughter of Anyarah! She spoke just like you did before I killed her! 

Piper felt rage before her. Dark Ace could feel it.

Dark Ace: I can feel your anger....it gives you focus....it gives you strength. Give in to the power of the Dark Side! And together, we shall rule the Galaxy! 

As Dark Ace spoke the words, mist began to fill the room as the spirit of Darth Cyclonis forms. Dark Ace bows to her.

Dark Ace: Master. 

Piper was confused at the sight of Darth Cyclonis. She walked up to Piper and ran her ethereal hand down Piper's face.

Darth Cyclonis: I sense great power in you Piper.....the Force is strong in you....

Piper: Who....who are you?

Darth Cyclonis: I am Darth Cyclonis. I am Sith. I see potential in you. You hold a far greater power than any living Jedi or Sith in the Galaxy! Join me and I can complete your training. And when the time comes, we shall take over this Empire of False Sith and take the Galaxy for ourselves! 

Piper: Wait....you don't serve the Empire?

Dark Ace: The Empire is a means to an end. When that end comes, it shall be ours! 

Piper was stunned at this. Not only was Dark Ace not serving the Empire, but was serving at the command of what appeared to be the spirit of an ancient Sith Lord. 

Darth Cyclonis: So what will it be Piper? Will you join me or will you throw away your life? 

Piper: I'll never join you!

Darth Cyclonis looks to Dark Ace.

Darth Cyclonis: Perhaps a little....persuasion is needed. Dark Ace.

Dark Ace: It will be arranged, my master.

The spirit of Darth Cyclonis soon dissipates. Dark Ace soon exits his Private Quarters, but not before looking back at Piper and smiled at her. Piper then realized the gravity of the situation. She was facing torture and possibly even death. Piper had to hold out as long as she could. Her thoughts drifted to Aerrow and Starling. She put her faith in both of them and in the Force itself. But for now, she would have to endure whatever tortures that the Sith had in store for her.
