After escaping from Repton, Ravess and Snipe, the crew of the Condor gets out of Hyperspace and into the Outer Rim regions.

Finn: We lost em Stork?

Stork then checks the navigation computer to see if any of the Bounty Hunters were chasing them.

Stork: Nothing's showing up on the Nav Computers. So yes. We lost them.

Finn: You know I'm getting real tired of getting chased at!

Junko: Well you did take the job.

Finn: That was before we realized that we found out she was a Jedi! And now we have two Jedi on board and Bounty Hunters after us! Not to mention the Empire!

Aerrow glared at Finn. But before Aerrow could say anything. Piper begins to try and shift the conversation away from the current situation.

Piper: Maybe we should go somewhere to help fix up the Condor?

Finn: Stork! What's the nearest system?

Stork: Nar Shaddaa.

Upon hearing that, Finn and Junko looked at each other and began laughing loudly. Confused, Starling begins questioning them.

Starling: Why.....why are you laughing?

Finn: I got a contact in Nar Shaddaa who owes me a favor!

Stork: Either that or a blaster to the face. Most likely the latter.

Finn: Stork. Set a course for Nar Shaddaa. I think it's time to call in that favor from Suzy Lu! Let's hope she's paid off her debt to Hondo, otherwise we might be out of luck.

Aerrow: And what can Suzy Lu do?

Finn: First off she's got the stuff we need to kick the Condor into tip top shape! Secondly she's a damn good mechanic. Probably the best in the Galaxy!

Stork and Radarr glare at Finn. As Piper heads to her room, Aerrow meets up with her to talk to her.

Aerrow: This mission really took a turn.

Piper: Isn't this the kind of mission Kota warned us about?

Aerrow: Heh. When you've fought with General Kota for as long as I have, you get used to it.

Starling: I can attest to that.

Piper: Master Starling!

Starling: I told you not to call me Master. I'm no Jedi Master. I'm not even a Jedi Knight. Even in the Clone Wars I was a Padawan.

Aerrow: General Kota always talked about Falon Grey. Spoke very highly of him.

Starling: He's not wrong. Master Grey was a great Jedi and a good teacher. He was as wise as he was strong.

Piper and Aerrow took note of Starling's reaction to Grey.

Starling: You should rest up Piper. We had a long day and we'll have an even longer day ahead of us.

Starling then leaves. After she leaves, Aerrow gets up and prepares to leave. But before he could, he turns to Piper.

Aerrow: Thank you.

Piper: For what?

Aerrow: For saving my skin during the fight with the Murk Raiders.

Piper: It was no problem Aerrow.

Aerrow then remembers how Piper was nearly killed by Scabulous. If it weren't for Starling's intervention, Piper may have been killed. His mission would've failed, but it wasn't his only concern. In the time he's spent with Piper, he grew fond of her. After Aerrow left, Piper took the time to meditate. When she does, Piper saw Starling fighting Dark Ace.

Dark Ace(Vision): It's not too late to join Starling! Don't throw your life away like your Master did!

Starling(Vision): I won't fall like you! I won't let your evil corrupt Piper!

Dark Ace(Vision): If you wish to fight like a Jedi, then you will die as all Jedi must!

Dark Ace and Starling begin clashing with their lightsabers. Eventually, Dark Ace overpowers Starling and has her in his mercy.

Dark Ace(Vision): You should've joined me when you had the chance! Now you shall die!

As Dark Ace raises his lightsaber, Piper blinks to see Starling's form now changed to her mother Anyarah.

Anyarah(Vision): Strike me down and I shall become more powerful than you can possibly imagine. There is no death.....only the Force.....

Piper attempts to run to stop Dark Ace, but is helpless to watch as Dark Ace kills her mother. As that happens, the two visions disappear. As Piper falls to her knees, she sees the vision of her mother standing before her.

Anyarah(Vision): I never wanted this for you. I never wanted any of this for you. I'm....I'm sorry Piper.....

Piper: Mother......

The vision of Anyarah turns around and begins walking away. Piper gets up and begins running after her.

Piper: Mother! Mother wait!

As Piper begins running after her, Piper loses concentration and stops meditating. She breathes heavily, not completely comprehending what she just saw. All she could do was rest wile the Condor made it's way to Nar Shaddaa. Meanwhile, Dark Ace meditates in his Private Quarters. As he does so, he sees a vision. He sees himself back in the Jedi Temple with Ven Zallow.

Ven Zallow(Vision): Ace! What are you doing?!

Ace(Vision): Doing what's necessary!

He watches as his past self strikes down his former master. He is then attacked by a figure cloaked in shadow.

Dark Ace: Do not think I will fall for your tricks!

Dark Ace presses the assault on the shadowy figure and begins engaging it in a lightsaber duel. In the fight, the shadowy figure reveals itself to be that of Anyarah.

Dark Ace: A dead Jedi will not stop me!

Dark Ace uses the power of the Dark Side to throw himself against the vision of Anyarah. But as he does so, he sees the the vision changes it's form to that of Piper. The vision begins to overpower him, but the Inquisitor keeps up the attack. As he has Piper at his mercy, a voice calls out to him.

Voice: Strike me down and I shall become more powerful than you can possibly imagine. There is no death.....only the Force.....

As the voice says that, he stops meditating to see the form of Darth Cyclonis standing before him.

Darth Cyclonis: I have felt a tremor in the Force.

Dark Ace: As have I. I have seen a vision of the future.

Darth Cyclonis: Take great care of these visions Dark Ace. The future is not always set. Look how many great Sith have fallen because of thoughts like these. Our power grows day by day. Once we deal with this Jedi, there will be no one left in the Galaxy to oppose us!

Dark Ace: It will be done, my master.

The form of Darth Cyclonis disappears as X1 enters the Inquisitor's private chambers.

Dark Ace: Has the Condor been found?

X1: Yes my lord. It's stopped in Nar Shaddaa. Shall I deploy the troops?

Dark Ace get stands up and walks up to the Imperial Commander.

Dark Ace: Are the Death Troopers ready?

X1: They await your orders.

Dark Ace: Good. Set the coordinates to Nar Shaddaa. The Jedi will not escape us this time!

X1: I shall let Repton and his Raptor know of this. Rest assured, the Jedi will be captured and the Rebels will be routed out and destroyed.

Dark Ace: I shall see to this personally!

As the Imperial crew set the coordinates for Nar Shaddaa, Dark Ace prepared to find Piper and bring her to the ship at any cost.
