Not Just a Crew
Clones were designed to follow orders and win wars. In other words, they were responsible. Never question things. Just do what they were told.
Well, the crew of the Fairest Lady was a complete different story.
Skyler casually sat on the couch, next to her was Drali. The blind clone was slightly smiling, due to the ruckus going on around them. Trigger was screaming like a little girl as the new clone on board, former Captain Treble chased him around. He was a slave mechanic, which meant he liked to fix things. But Trigger took that the complete wrong way around. Breaking the air conditioning, fiddling with the two shower heads AND unscrewing Blitz's bunk, was a bit to much for Treble. He had long since banged his head against the wall, now he's just chasing Trigger with a wrench.
Jay was in tears as he held his sides, still laughing. He and Trigger were close, two mischievous men at best. Yet his vibrant hair and handsome features made him all the more lovable, plus his striking personality. Skyler sometimes found herself smiling at his goofy grin, even when she was having the worst of days.
Blaster and Slick was playing a heated game of pazzack at the table, neither one of them was getting anywhere, since they only learned to play the day before. Of course they figured out their own little ways, bending the rules a bit. Which was funny.
Swift was in his room as usaul, reading away in a comic book. He was the most antisocial, due to him being an Alpha Trooper. He's lucky to be alive at best. Alphas never made it off Kamino, as they were to dangerous and unprepared. Swift had to watch his brothers being slaughtered in front of him. It broke him to the core. Skyler also had some trust issues with him after he tried killing her. She had to shoot him, which left her stunned. Bryn at least worked her Jedi magic on him, bringing him back from almost dying and erasing his memory. Skyler still felt fear rise up in her when she looked at him.
Tup was telling Gunnar some stories. They were stretched out on the carpet. Gunnar loved stories. And being one of the quietest men on board, he liked hanging around with the more relaxed clones.
Stormy's voice suddenly boomed from the kitchen. "As the normal I am, I will screw your horns loose and stuck them up your ass if you eat my ice cream again!" Again. Why was Xever once again stupid enough to eat Stormy's goods? That clone would scare you, once you got into his stuff.
Skyler sighed to herself and patted Drali softly. "Wait here," with that she stood up and marched to the middle of the galley. "Boys! Line up, on the double!" She yelled, folding her hands behind her back. The ship went into an eerie silence as the crew slowly emerged, wide eyed. It was one thing to mess around, but it was another to get Captain Yeager mad. Blitz walked up behind her, giving her a questioning look before falling in line. Who said she needed Bryn to control the crew? Although it made it a lot easier. She and Sicarius were out, hence leaving Skyler to babysit. Out of all the men, Skyler would say Blitz is the most mature one. Though he wouldn't admit to the cuddles he occasionally stole, and glaring at Jay when he had Skyler to himself.
"You are driving me crazy," she begun slowly. The troopers (and Zabraks) were as white as sheets, thinking the worst of the jobs they'd be put up to. Hell, even Swift lined up, which told you something. "So I've came to a hasty decision." She looked at them all, Slick giving her puppy dog eyes. "All of you, go grab your pillows and blankets."
The crew shared looks before returning their attention back to Skyler. "We're gonna watch holo movies I got earlier." She recalled, grinning as the faces before her lit up. Quicker than the Force, everyone scrambled away to fetch their things. Skyler chuckled at the sight, as chaos erupted. She walked to the kitchen, grabbed some cafe and prepared four hot water bottles. She liked spoiling the boys. Especially Drali, Gunnar, Slick and Tup. The defects. They were special. Tup and Drali might be blind, but they were loved.
Not five minutes later when she returned, everyone was already covered in blankets and pillows were scattered everywhere. She handed the Slick, Gunnar and Tup their hot water bottles, who first had a fuss about who got the blue one, of course. Skyler walked over to the couch as Stormy made quick work of starting up the holo. Skyler draped a thick blanket over Drali and handed him his water bottle, sitting next to him. He snuggled up against her and closed his milky eyes with a sweet smiled. He personally loved the attention he got here. Especially from yhe captain.
Skyler glanced around at the now silent men, a content smile playing on her lips. This might just as well be the the most immature crew in the Outer Rim, but they were a family. That's the only thing that mattered.
