Hello everyone. I know I know some of you were expecting me to do your requests. Look I haven't been into much of a writing mood which is why my main story rarely gets updated. Your free to drop your requests in the comments but I don't know if I'll get to doing them. Again I'm sorry I just lost the spark. Anyways enjoy. And if anyone can guess (who I haven't told. Looking at you NerdyGirl260 and Bobxdx) what movie this chapter is from I may do your request next as a special reward. Enjoy.

In a galaxy far far away there was a metalic planet known for its unique metal crust that became known to be one of the strongest metals in the galaxy. For centuries people had come far and wide to try and take the planets metal for their own benefits. However, every single attempt had turned up a failure sending the men who had worked hard and long on the planet home penny less. That all changed however during the year 20 bby when suddenly the planet changed. Even though the empire documented the change of the planet Tungsten, it still remained unexplored. Until the rebelion got involved.

The Marauder: a heavy bombarded ship, known as a titan class ship in the rebelion not for its size, but for its fire power that rivaled the command star destroyer, made its way through hyperspace towards the planet Tungsten. Multiple rebel cells had been called for this mission like Phoenix squadron, Iron Squadron, and many rebels who were regarded as the best of their unit.

As the ship hurled through hyperspace Ezra Bridger walked around the ship marveled at how huge the Marauder was. Since Ezra had spent most of his time either on the Ghost or on one of the common rebel flag ships Ezra was more than happy to finally see more unique ships. He walked down to one of the hangar bays and was at first stunned by the multiple A-wings, X-wings, Y-wings, and some weird ships that resembled that of a escape pod but was bigger and had back spikes with blasters. Those were the Marauders attached attack ships known as Death Pods, which were known for their deadliness in swarms and single combat.

Ezra continued to look around seeing a few weird ships that he hadn't seen before. He walked up to one of them seeing the door to the inside open. As he was about to step in an old voice called out to him saying "What do you think your doing little speck". Ezra looked over to see that it was none other than Sabines old friend Ketsu Onyo. Ezra looked at the woman inspecting her body up and down mentally whistling while he physically laughed and walked up to Ketsu saying "You dumb Mando bitch" clapping his hand to hers followed by a slam hug.

The two chuckled for a moment with Ketsu placing an arm on the young jedis shoulder asking "What are you doing walking inside someone else's U-wing?".

This took Ezra by surprise as he looked back at the ship that was called the U-wing before looking back at Ketsu asking "That's a U-wing?". Ketsu just chuckled at the boys question saying "Yeah that's a U-wing. Not the deadliest ship in the rebelion, or at least not from what I've heard. Their used to drop troops off to the battle field along with the straight liners". She then directed his attention towards a fairly plain designed ship which was straight and only had frontal blasters. This ship was also designed for dropping off troops to the battlefield.

When Ezra got bored of looking at the ships he asked Ketsu "What are you doing here?". Before she could answer Ezra was tackled by Hando who yelled "Heyyyy what's my favorite swindler doing here?". Ezra managed to get out of Handos hands chuckling a bit asking "Hando? W-what are you doing....". Before he could finish Hando answered "It's simple Ezra. Your rebelion contacted me Vizago and Azmorgan to assist you on your journey. And for no small fee too, which means this mission must be important".

Before Ezra could respond a voice came over the speaker saying "Attention all crew members. We're are about to exit hyperspace. Members of the spectre squad, Iron squad, and smugglers please report to the bridge". With that the trio made their way to the bridge while everyone else managed their posts.

The Marauder exited hyperspace coming over the metalic planet Tungsten. After slowing it's speed to astronomic levels the ship made its way to the planets surface, which as the legends would have it was covered in metal.

Ezra soon joined everyone else in the Bridge. He noticed an old yellow figure with cybernetic components in his head. "Tseebo?" Ezra asked wanting to make sure that it was him and not someone else who looked like Tseebo. Tseebo turned around at the sound of Ezra's voice  smiling at his old friend saying "Hello Ezra".

The two then shared a hug with Ezra saying "It's good to see you old friend".   "Same to you Ezra Bridger" Tseebo responded.

The two were then cut short by Sato saying "I'm glad you two managed to catch up, but if you wouldn't mind Mr.Tseebo would you please explain to the landing party what their mission is". Tseebo then let go of Ezra nodding as he walked over to the projector waiting for everyone's attention. Commander Sato then announced "Attention landing party I would like to you to give Tseebo your undivided attention".

Everyone in the room soon quieted down with the Ghost crew, smugglers, Iron Squadron, Ketsu Onyo, the clones: Captain Rex, Wolf, Gregor, and Commander Cody, and Kallus giving Tseebo their full attention. Seeing all the eyes on Tseebo Tseebo tugged at his shirt a bit chuckling nervously as he hadn't given a speech to anyone before.

He started off with a "H-hello" getting a yawn from Ketsu. That didn't boost Tseebos confidence, but he continued his presentation saying "I have some slides of the planets most dangerous creature ever documented". Instead popped out a picture of baby Ezra in an orange onzie with a bib looking at the camera getting an awe from everyone. Ezra however blushed in humiliation trying to hide his face only to be teased by Sabine "Awe look at the little jedi so cute".

Tseebo was also embarrassed by the picture correcting his mistake saying "Sorry Tseebo got the slides mixed up. Now here is a drawing of a creature called 'the Weld'". Out came a picture of a long mammal creature with spike depictions on it.

Naturally sabine studied the picture saying "Ehhh the outlines make it look like a rookie drew it" getting a scornful look from Hera. Sabine just shrugged as she payed attention with Tseebo saying "Legend has it that this creature was depicted as the guardian of the planet with a field scientist writing 'From the farthest reaches of the planet out came a bursting light that resembled the heat of the sun'. However future research put the idea of the existence of the creature as nothing more than a folklore. What we are really looking for is the break between the surface. There the ground team will be able to head down into the crack and follow a series of tunnels to the center of the planet where studies can be made to understand the planets core".

"So we find this core and study it, then what. How do we keep the empire from coming and taking the planets core"  Kanan asked who was answered by Hando "That is where we come in. As 'liberators' we specialize in where to put anti thief traps so no one will ever be able too steal this planets treasure".

"Commander we're approaching the planets surface" one of the Marauder pilots announced taking Satos full attention. He dismissed everyone from the meeting with Hera saying "Alright Ghost crew I want you all the read the mission briefing before we launch" following Sato up the rails to where the pilots were. Due to a previous drone burning up on the planets surface the Marauder had to fly to the shadow part of the planet to avoid the overheating rays that were reflected from the planets metal. As the Marauder flew merely thousands of feet from the surface the navigation crew turned on the lights at the front. The light from the ship bounced back off the surface creating a field of sparkles.

Hera leaned forward in awe at the sight as Kanan came right beside her asking "Is it beautiful?". Hera looked up at him and hugged him saying "I wish you could see it love".

However all wasn't as it seemed. The ships sonar listener heard something coming back through the speaker system. She focused the sound picking up a strange noise. She turned to Commander Sato calling out "Commander Sato there's something you need to hear".

Sato however wasn't paying much attention as his focus was with the ships navigation computer trying to scan for anything that would allow them to enter the planet. The sonar woman had repeated herself three times before Sato acknowledged her saying "Yes Corporal Hollazz what is it?". "I'm picking up something on the sonar" Hollazz said getting a "Put it on speaker" from Ahsoka. Hollazz gave the jedi a concerned glare before flipping the switch allowing the sound to travel throughout the entire ship. The sound that came through made a chittering noise which elavated and delavated multiple times.

The sound caught everyone's concern as they had no idea what could make that kind of noise. "Is that coming from the planets wiring system?" Hera asked facing Hollazz who dismissed the idea saying "Nuh uh too slow". "Could be us creating an echo from the planets towers" Ahsoka said leaning over Hollazz's shoulder to read the wavelengths of the noise. She also got a report from Hollazz saying "You wanna do my job jedi be my guest" getting a glare from Ahsoka. Ezra was the one who pointed out "Is it me or is that getting louder?".

As if on cue the noise soon turned into a long silence. After a moment Hera shrugged her shoulders saying "Well whatever it was it's gone now". "Pilot slow our moving speed and bring us arou-" Sato said before the ship was yanked dramatically knocking everyone back.

The Weld clawed through the back of the ships primary body moving up the Marauders figure. The punctuation of the Welds claws caused the ships alarms to go off sending everyone in a panic.

Sabine and Ketsu ran down the hall to the ships fifth hangar shoving aside a rebel saying "Out of the way". The two made it to the guard railing where they could see the ships pressuring system failing and rebels fleeing to a safer room.

"Get weapons online and the assault ships out. I want this creature taken down before it destroys the Marauder" Sato announced to the comms soldier who relayed the orders back saying "Weapons crew activate the thunderstorm and assault ship crew to battle stations". The ship was then yanked again by the Weld who took a look inside the ships Bridge.

The men scrambled quickly to their ships powering them up as quickly as they could. Gregor and Wolf jumped into a death pod with Kallus and Rex sharing one as a Cody got into one with a random soldier.

Ahsoka looked up at the creature widening her eyes. The creature wasn't metalic like the rest of the planet and it showed signs of hostility towards them.

Back down at hangar four five men ran as quickly as they could to the hangar. However Ketsu Onyo pushed the lever up to cut off the hallway so the rest of the ship would destabilize. Two of the five rebels managed to make through before the door closed.

"Launch assault ships" Sato announced with the head assault leader saying "Assault ships away". The death pods shot out of the Marauder while the other ships: A-wings, X-wings, and Y-wings flew from their respective hangars.

The ships circled around the Marauder until they all had a clear shot at the Weld. All the ships open fired on the creature catching it's attention. The Weld let go of the Marauder and began chasing after the ships that threatened it.

With the Marauder free Hera said "We're free. Pilot take us to mark seven-four eight". The pilot nodded and started flying the Marauder to that location.

Meanwhile the Weld began it's counter assault on the assault ships destroying many of them with it's huge claws. The Weld almost managed to destroy the Death Pod that Gregor and Wolf were in which didn't go too well with Gregor. "Oh so you wanna mess with me oi big bongo? Well let's see whose the bigger predator" Gregor laughed getting a concerned look from Wolf. Gregor then took control of the Death Pod swinging it around a metalic pillar while contacting the other ships "All ships meet up at point thirteen-seven and ready your most powerful weapon".

"Gregor what are you planning?" Cody asked as he and the random rebel looked at eachother concerned before following Gregor's order. Soon the rest of the Death Pods along with five of the remaining Y-wings, all of the A-wings, and three X-wings joined up creating a wall as the Weld gave it's echoing roar charging at them.

"Chew on this bongo" Gregor said and activated the electric fuse canon. The spikes on the ship created sparks of electricity that concentrated on a central fusing pipe. Soon the pipe created an energy converter which shot out at the creature creating an electric shock on the Weld.

The other death pods followed Gregor's example with the X-wings shooting their Ion torpedoes and the Y-wings shooting their cluster missiles. All of the fire ordinance from the Assault wall managed to hit the Weld with the assist of the A-wings shooting the regular lasars. However this didn't harm the Weld at all. When the smoke from the explosions cleared the creature stared at the tiny ships with its eyes glowing red.

"I think we only made it worse" Kallus said staring back at the Weld not knowing what to do. The Weld then gave a loud roar and once again charged the ships making them scatter.

As the ships fled with some death pods getting crushed by the Welds claws Commander Sato came onto the Comm links saying "Attention all Assault Ships make your way back to the Marauder".

The men obeyed the order and made their way back to the Marauder with the Weld closely on their tail. As they passed by and the Weld came into the Marauders weapon range Sato said "Fire". The weapon commanders relayed that order announcing "Firing the Thunderstorm". The Marauders weapons soon fired four high concentrated electrical beams clashing against the Welds body.

The Weld's exoskeleton however didn't budge under the impact of the thunderstorm. When the beams soon stopped The Weld fired back a high heated concentrated beam from the rays it had collected from the sun.

The heat melted away the Marauders shield busting through the ships stabalizing hull. The extra pressure added to the ship sent bolts flying out of their sockets hitting sabine all over her forcing her to retreat to the upper level. As she passed through the doors that closed behind her she said "Get me the bridge".

Up at the bridge one of the rebels for the comms said "Captain it's spectre five in the engine room". "Open a comm link" Hera said and heard Sabine say in a worried tone "Hera the ship took a huge hit from that beast and the pressure for the ships inner atmosphere is dropping fast". "How much time do we have" Hera asked getting a "Twenty minutes if the doors to the unpressured sections hold" from Sabine who was then corrected by a running Ketsu "Best make that five sister" indicating the doors were giving out.

In no time Kanan said "Comms tell all remaining soldiers to abandoned ship" and began running to the hangar that had the Ghost. The rebel nodded and pressed the button that announced throughout the ship "All rebels abandoned ship".

Before the Weld had its chance to take another shot at the Marauder the assault ships took another fire at it to take it's attention. The Weld then shot the same beam at the tiny ships destroying ten of the twelve A-wings and four more death pods.

This caused the others to spread out in a scurry to avoid the beam not knowing if the creature would fire again. Only one death pod however dared to face the creature firing it's electric bolt at the Weld hitting it in the face.

The Weld soon gave chase to the Death Pod smashing through the metal towers the death pod manuvered around in an attempt to lose the Weld. Soon the towers started to overwhelm the moving space of the death pod.

Gregor and Rex came to the of aid the Death Pod by shooting a few electric bolts at the back of the Weld. The creature however paid no attention to them as the death pod it was chasing tried to go over the Weld. The Weld slashed it's paw down on the pod scratching through the inner section of the ship causing the wiring to explode and make the pod lose stability.

Over the comms a panicked rebel yelled "May day may day this is pod 115 we're hit and going-" unable to finish before they crashed and exploded.

Rex and Gregor looked down at the pod all three clones shocked and saddened at the death of their fellow clone Cody. However they knew that there wasn't time to mourn as the Weld gave chase to them.

Out of no where the remaining X-wings came down and fired another shot at the Weld hitting up its back. Wolf tried to warm them to fly away saying "Get out of here Yellow group our weapons have no affect on that creature". Before the squad could pull up from the creature The Weld used its tail and smashed the last of the X-wings.

Using the distraction those men gave the two Death Pods Gregor and Rex flew behind some Towers escaping the creature. This meant that the creatures attention focused back on the Marauder.

Rebels ran through the now falling Marauder with many rebels making way to the U-wings and straight liners. Some rebels however ran with the ghost crew with Zeb on the ramp yelling "Hurry up you rats we don't have all day".

Chopper made his way to the Hangars door plugging into the unit trying to wire the hangar doors open. Hera followed by Kanan, Ezra, Sabine, Tseebo, and Ahsoka jumped into the pilots seat quickly turning on the Ghost. With the last of the rebels that made it on the Ghost the ramp closed with Zeb saying "Cargo door closed Hera". "Copy that Zeb. Chopper we need that door open" Hera said as the ship powered up floating into the air followed by the Shadow caster and the broken horn.

The Weld flew closer and closer to the Marauder charging it's beam up for another shot.

"CHOPPER" Hera yelled having a lot of panic in her voice as she did not want to die. Chopper flailed his arms out unplugging from the unit beeping crazily as he rolled back to the ghost. "What is that astromech doing Captain Syndulla" Sato said over the comms from a U-wing. Hera responded with "He said the doors are jammed" causing concern for everyone.

The Weld then shot down at the Marauder punctuating the inner engine room right as Hera and a pilot in the hangar bellow hit their weapons button and blew off the hangar doors.

"Hang on" Hera said as the ships flew out of the Marauders Hangars right as the ship exploded. From the dust of the explosion the Weld roared loudly flying close after the ships.

As the ghost lead the parade of ships which were soon accompanied by the remaining assault ships Hera looked back at Tseebo asking "Tseebo what are we looking for?". Out of fear Tseebo started speaking in his native tongue which Sabine quickly translated "He says we're looking for a crack in the planets surface".

Almost instantly Kanan 'spotted' the crack pointing to it saying "Hera up ahead". Hera instantly got onto the comm link saying "All aircrafts make your heading thirty degrees down angle". "Roger through degrees down angle" one of the U-wing pilots repeated followed by Mart saying "Right behind you".

The Weld however soon caught up to them smashing a U-wing while also slashing out an A-wings right engine. The pilot of that A-wing looked back and yelled into the comms "Captain we're getting killed out here" scared that he was about to die.

The ships managed to make it too the crack with the Weld smashing into a metal tower nearby as the ships flew into the planets surface. The Weld tried to go in after them getting it's head and two arms in a little bit slashing it's claws wildly hitting the back of a Y-wings engine causing it to spark and fly out of control.

When the Weld realized it wasn't going to be able to follow the ships anymore it fired it's beam vaporizing the Y-wing it had slashed along with causing an A-wing to jerk out of the way hitting the Broken Horn before crashing.

"Look out" Hondo yelled along with Azmorgon yelled "Turn". However the A-wing had caused Vizago to lose too much control and the Broken Horn crashed into the metal wall exploding with the Ghost and the last of the ships flying past it.

During all of this Tseebo was having a mental breakdown and soon started saying "Please don't let this be the end. PLEASE DON'T THIS BE THE END!!" earning himself a big "SHUT UP" from sabine who wasn't feeling very stable either.

The Ghost quickly flew down the tunnel avoiding the Welds second shot at the ships. The Shadow caster flew overhead and took the lead flying down the tunnel with another Y-wing being destroyed by the Welds beam.

The flight down the tunnel was just dangerous too, the tunnel had many obstacles for the ships to maneuver around and with the tunnel slowly closing the bigger ships like the Ghost and U-wings were having even more trouble dodging the metal pipes.

However even though things seemed to be looking at it's worse the Ghost managed to maneuver through the pipe field behind the Shadow caster. It was the ships behind the Iron squadron that had trouble as the A-wing with the sparking engine hit a pipe and crashed into the wall nearly causing the U-wings and Straight Liner ships to crash.

The two Death Pods also faced a danger as the smaller ships had a piece of a pipe that the Iron Squadron ship accidently broke off hit their windshield causing it to crack. Thankfully though when the ships started going up there was soon plenty of room for the ships to fly safely as they made their way to the top of the tunnel.

At the top the ships brought themselves to a slow speed taking a moment to look around for any dangers.

The ships that remained were a small portion of the fleet they started out with. This would leave the team on edge as they had no idea what dangers lied ahead.
