This is a request that was requested a long time ago by mangle234 and now I'm going to finish it.

Yavin 4

It has been one week since Thrawn demolished Chopper base. The battle had taken its toll on the Rebels. Most of the high council has lost some of their faith in what their doing and how their doing it. But the Rebels aren't the only ones who have been affected by these events.

Ezra was affected differently. Not in a bad way no. He was effected by his feelings for a certain mandalorian.

Ezra sat on a crate thinking about the battle and how Sabine courageously volunteered to help him save everyone on Atallon (sorry if mispelled). Even if her mother didn't agree with helping them.

Ezra began feeling something in his chest. It was a feeling that he hadn't felt in a long time, back when he first meet Sabine, back before Malachor.

Back then when Ezra had first meet Sabine he had continuously flirted with her partially because of his hormones, but deep down he really loved her. He loved how unique Sabine was from every other women he has every seen before.

Every other woman Ezra has seen in his time on the streets never showed anything interesting. They never had anything unique about them, no imagination, no spirit, no......color.

Sabine did reject him in the past though. However their bond has strengthened throughout these years which gave Ezra the confidence he needed.

Ezra got up from his crate and went to Sabine's room.

Sabine's room

As Ezra stood outside Sabine's door he began feeling a bit nervous. His mind filled with constant thoughts like *what if she rejects you again* or *She isn't going to take someone like you*.

Ezra got so wrapped up in his thoughts that he was startled when Sabines door opened revealing the colorful mandalorian standing in front of him.

Just at the sight of her made Ezra's heart beat in his ears. His entire body stood there in complete freeze with Ezra unable to mutter anything.

It began creeping Sabine out that Ezra was just staring at her. She snapped her fingers in front of his face saying "Hey Ezra" catching his attention "Did you want something?".

"Um....yeah funny you should mention it I was coming here to ask you if......iiiiif" Ezra stuttered feeling more and more pressure from Sabine staring at him. "If what Ezra?" Sabine asked getting annoyed.

"If you would like to go.....on a date?" Ezra finished feeling a bit relieved. His relief was short lived. Sabine held a face of Sadness which worried Ezra for what was to come.

"Ezra. Look your a good man better than most that I've ever meet, but I don't see you me us being anything. I'm sorry Ezra" Sabine regrettably answered.

Ezra understood and accepted Sabines answer. It was what he expected it to be.

Ezra nodded his head holding back his tears and walked away.

As Sabine watched him leave she felt her heart hurt a little bit. She did have some feeling towards Ezra and in some ways she did want to be something more with him. With the Empire and her heritage however she couldn't risk it.

Sabine went back into her room leaning against the door depressed.

At that moment Scarlet entered from the shower about to go grab her clothes when she noticed Sabines face.

She walked over to Sabine and asked "Sabby what's wrong". "I told you to stop calling me that scarlet" Sabine answered in annoyance pushing past her. Scarlet grabbed Sabine's shoulder making Sabine face her as she said "Sabine what's wrong".

Sabine just brushed away Scarlet trying to get to her bed. Scarlet however didn't get the message and began asking more and more until Sabine just yelled "EZRA ASKED ME OUT AND I SAID NO HAPPY?".

Scarlet stood back from Sabine shocked and scared at Sabines sudden explosion. Sabine took a quick breath to calm down before she apologized "Scarlet I'm sorry I just don't feel well about what's happened".

Sabine then sat on her bed putting her face in her hands trying to feel better. Scarlet joined Sabine on her bed. The two sat there in silence for a few minutes before Scarlet said "Why did you reject him again. I know why you did at first because of his flirtatious personality. But I've been noticing you two really connecting recently. I think I even saw you two almost kiss once".

That wasn't making Sabine any better. It only made her feel worse about her actions. Both of them had been spending a lot of time together in the past few months. And it was true that Sabine did almost kiss Ezra, but it was more because they were trapped in a crate together for 2 days and Sabines hormones almost took control of her. In fact if it weren't for Kanan the two of them could have done something Sabine and Ezra would have regretted.

Now however Sabine began regretting not going on that date with Ezra. "Look Scarlet it's not like I don't want to go out with Ezra. It's just that with the Empire and my family now accepting me again I just can't risk it" Sabine answered.

This earned her a wearing smirk from Scarlet who began finding this whole thing a bit funny. Sabine took notice of Scarlets smirk and asked "What's so funny".

"Oh nothing it's just that.....maybe your right. Maybe you being a mandalorian is more important than love and maybe Ezra will find a better girl after all" Scarlet began rambling. "Now wait....." Sabine tried to say but only shut up as Scarlet continued "And hey who knows. In the future you could see Ezra walking down the streets of Lothal with a different woman and a lovely child all happy".

"Scarlet...." Sabine tried again to get through to her. Scarlet however only continued on and on "And you'll be there thinking to yourself *oh why Ezra. Why didn't I take you when I had the chance. All because of my low pride and my fragile heritage. I wish I could make it up and have you all too myself, but I was just too mandalorian to accept you*".

When she finished she looked over at Sabine who had a scary pissed off face which didn't scare her in a bit.

Scarlet tried to hold in her laughter as Sabine spoke "Is that what you think" answering with a "Yeah" snickering. "Well do you want to know what I think?" Sabine asked.

"What" Scarlet asked back getting her towel yanked off her body and put into an arm lock as Sabine threw her out of her room locking the door behind her.

"I think you can find yourself a new set of clothes from someone else" Sabine said and walked back to her bed hearing Scarlet pound against the door yelling "Sabine c'mon this is not funny". Sabine just ignored her as she laid her head on her pillow and listed to some music to drown Scarlet out.

Overnight Sabine had trouble sleeping. She tossed and turned trying to make herself comfortable but she couldn't get this agonizing pain in her chest out.

After about 5 hours of tossing and turning Sabine finally found some sleep.

However it was just as bad.

Sabine was in a dark room no light visible. Sabine moved around the cellar to try and find an exit or opening. The cell however was shut down tight with no ventilation, holes, not even a crack.

Sabine eventually sat down in the middle of the room from exhaustion. As she sat there her mind raced with thoughts about what her captor would do to her. Would she be interrogated for information? Would she be sold to a slaver? Would she be made a trophy?

All of these thoughts raced through her mind. Then they all suddenly disappeared and the only thought she had was of Ezra. And how she desperately wanted him with her.

It was then that the cell doors opened revealing the person who would determine her fate. What Sabine saw put her in a cold sweat.

The figured walked down the steps looking straight at Sabine. The figured looked down at the startled rebel smiling maliciously. The figured then grabbed Sabine by the back of her hair and brought their faces inches from the other.

Sabines heart raced with fear as the figure whispered "I'm coming for my Ezzy".

Morning

Sabine abruptly screamed waking up. Her body was in a cold sweat and her heart was pounding. It was a bit hard for her to control her breathing, but she was able to steady it.

Sabine looked around her room making sure that she was in her room and not that prison. After she calmed down Sabine put her head on her hands and began thinking about the person that she saw in her dream. Well...it felt a vision to her.

The person she had seen had been someone she hadn't seen in a very long time. Not since her last family feud. Sabine pushed that memory away because she knew that the person who she had killed was dead.

However Sabine still felt uneasy with what she was told *I'm coming for my ezzy*. Those words wrapped around Sabines mind. Only Sabine called Ezra ezzy. It had been their sole nicknames for each other that only they knew about.

Sabine was dragged away from her thoughts when she heard a light knock from the door. "Who is it" Sabine asked. "Its Zeb. Mon Mothma wants us in the debriefing room" Zeb answered.

"I'll be there shortly" Sabine told Zeb jumping off of her bed and into the refresher room.

After Sabine finished and got dressed she proceeded to head towards the mission debriefing room. While she was walking she couldn't get the dream and Ezra out of her head. It was almost as if those two things were the only things that mattered.

Sabine was so lost in thought that she almost hit the door to the room if Ezra hadn't caught her in her tracks.

"Whoa Sabine watch out. You almost made a Kanan mistake" Ezra joked. Sabine finally out of her mind looked up at Ezra and noticed something different.

What Sabine noticed wasn't anything bad which was scary considering that she rejected him again last night. Instead Sabine saw compassion and concern in Ezra's eyes. Those blue oceanic eyes.

As if they were the ocean Sabine got swept up into them unable to stop staring. Sabines body began to move on it own bringing Sabines hand behind Ezra's head.

Ezra didn't mind any of it. He actually was sucked into Sabine's chocolate eyes as well. He felt his head being pushed forward moving closer to Sabines face.

The two of them were inches from kissing, until they stopped at the sound of a "uhhhhh humm".

Mon Mothma was standing behind them accompanied by two guards. Sabine and Ezra quickly separated standing formally in front of the senator.

"Mothma how are you doing" Sabine politely asked. She didn't get a so polite response "It is senator to you mandalorian. Now from what I just saw you two are to stop this childish fun until after the debriefing and your mission. Is that understood?".

Both of the teens nodded in agreement. Mon Mothma shoved past the two of them entering the debriefing room.

After the door closed behind her Sabine muttered "Bitch". There was a moment of silence before Ezra began laughing at Sabines comment followed by Sabine.

The two looked back at each other smiling for a few more seconds before Ezra said "We should probably get going.". "Agreed" was all Sabine said entering the room behind Ezra.

Once the two joined most of the Ghost crew and Rebel Leaders at the holo table. Sabine looked around and noticed that the two that were missing were Scarlet and Stahl.

Mon Mothma wasn't happy since she complained "Is that trouble maker really taking this long. Hell with him and that other girl being late all the time we could have freed the Galaxy". "Senator Mothma I know how irritating that can be but please just give them a few more minutes. If they don't show up we'll just start the meeting without them" Hera asked.

Mon Mothma irritably nodded checking back over what the mission was going to be.

As if on cue Stahl entered the debriefing room followed by Scarlet who was wearing an interesting choice of clothes. Scarlet had on Stahls old raggedy and blood stained cloths.

Everyone just stared in shock and confusion, the only person Scarlet gave a dirty look was Sabine who fought to not chuckle at her.

Even Mothma was confused as Scarlet and Stahl joined everyone. She wasn't in the mood however and began the meeting "Everyone I have recently acquired some information from one of my scouts near the edge of the middle rim of the galaxy. The Empire has been building a base near Zygeria with top secret weaponry being assembled".

"Zygeria.....filthy slavers" Rex muttered. Kanan placed his hand on Rexes shoulder asking the old clone "Rex what's wrong". Instead of Rex answering Kanan Ahsoka was the one who said "During the clone wars master Kenobi, Anakin, Rex, and myself were dispatched to Zygeria to negotiate a treaty with the Queen. It turned....into something different".

Even though Sabine wasn't force sensitive she could hear the fear in Ahsokas voice. Which was understandable, everyone except Ezra knew what the Zygerians were and what they have done.

"Um not to be a Loth-rat but why is everyone worried about Zygeria" Ezra asked looking at everyone's worried faces. "Ezra you don't understand what Zygerians have done. They kidnap people from their families and turn them into slaves for all sorts of things." Sabine said feeling herself get more and more scared as she spoke.

Sabine knew what the Zygerian slaves were like because she was once a slave for a month. And while they didn't do anything scaring or permanent to her before the Ghost crew had saved her. She saw others being used for worse things.

From the face that Sabine made Ezra understood why he should be wary about Zygeria.

"I understand why you all are scared believe me I know what those people have done, but if the Empire manufactures whatever weapon they are trying to make we may all become servants to the Empire" Mothma said.

Everyone hesitated at first, but after a few seconds of silence Hera spoke "We will do it Mothma". "Thank you Captain Syndulla. I have hope that you and your crew will have great success" Mothma gratefully gratituded.

However not all of the crew was happy about it. Sabine, Ezra, Scarlet, Ketsu, and Stahl didn't feel safe or even comfortable just talking about the mission. Stahl was the one who spoke though saying "Do you actually believe the filth that comes out of your mouth".

Mothma looked over at Stahl who wore his coldest faces ever asking "I beg you pardon". "Yeah you heard me you little shit. Do you really think you get to just send us to a slaver planet and just say oh thanks for your sacrifice. You might as well be sending us to Jabba and saying don't get caught or enslaved." Stahl said slowly raising his voice while trying to get to Mothma".

Hera tried to get Stahl to stop as Zeb held him back from getting within arms reach of Mothma. Stahl didn't hear Hera he only kept talking getting to the point where he was yelling "If you're so damn confident in us why don't you join us on our mission. Maybe if we get captured we can use you as a bargaining chip like you would do to us!!!".

It was at that point where Hera had enough. She swiftly punched Stahl shocking everyone. Then in a firm tone she said "Spectre 7 you are to shut up and report back to the ship immediately.".

The room fell silent after that. Stahl didn't look at Hera for a few seconds. When he did however Hera took a step back in fear. When Stahl meet contact with Heras eyes he gave her a horrifying death glare which he has never ever done before.

"Fine" was all Stahl said before yanking himself out of Zebs grip exiting the room. After he left Hera apologized to Mothma before having everyone including her leave the room.

Ghost

Once everyone including Ahsoka, Captain Rex, and Kallus were aboard the Ghost Hera powered her ship up and took to the stars. Once she set the hyperspace course for the asteroids near Zygeria the ship soon went to lightspeed.

After that Hera got up from her chair and joined the others in the common room. Everyone was either mentally or physically preparing themselves for the mission.

As Hera joined everyone at the table she noticed that one of their members were missing. "Where's Spectre 7?" Hera asked. Zeb answered "He says he won't be joining us this mission" cleaning out his bo-rifle.

Hera just shook her head a bit agitated, but she decided to go over their mission without him. "As you heard from Mothma there is an Imperial base located here." Hera began explaining pointing to an asteroid on the holo-table.

"Hiding a base in a cluster of asteroids huh. Not bad" Kallus commented getting him a few small glares. "What you have to give some credit for their creativity" Kallus defended only getting rolled eyes from.

"Anyways we're going to hit the base from two sides. Zeb I want you to take Kallus, Rex, and Kanan on a frontal assault. From the Intel the base isn't fully operational so their defenses aren't working." Hera explained pointing the path in which they were to take. Before she began explaining the secondary teams plan Ahsoka interrupted "Hera if they are going to do a frontal assualt there will likely be a good number of troopers there. I should help with the attack".

Hera looked at the togruta for a second just to make sure that this was what Ahsoka wanted and soon nodded. "Alright then Sabine, Ezra, Scarlet, and I will work our way around the base. From there we will plant charges on the ammunition units, cooling systems, and life support. Once everyone is out Sabine will do what she does best" Hera credited making everyone chuckle and Sabine blush.

Hera made sure everyone clearly understood their parts before the meeting was dismissed. As everyone went to get themselves ready Kanan placed his hand on Hera's shoulder stopping her in her tracks.

Hera turned towards her lover noticing the concern in his face. "Love, what is it" Hera asked Kanan placing her hands on his face feeling his smooth skin and soft beard.

Kanan took a deep breath before her took one of Heras hands saying "Hera you know how I feel about you and how worried I get when you go on a mission as dangerous as this.". Hera smiled at Kanan warmly as he continued rambling.

Hera leaned in a gave Kanan a kiss to shut him up. The kiss took Kanan by surprise, but he melted into it wrapping his arm around her waist bringing her closer.

They kissed for a long sweetful minute before they separated. After Hera caught her breath she warmly said "I'll be fine love. Just make sure you watch out for me". Kanan lightly chuckled at that comment saying "Yes General".

The two were interrupted shortly after that by Sabine who pretend coughed. Both Kanan and Hera looked at everyone seeing awed faces making them both blush wildly. The two then walked out of the room to avoid any more awwing.

The others continued to prepare themselves as the ship continued its course.

Half an hour later the crew heard over the comms "We're coming up on the asteroid field. All spectres get ready". Everyone quickly ran to their locations that they were assigned.

However before Scarlet boarded the phantom with the others she ran over to Stahls room knocking on his door. "What" was all that Stahl said knowing that it was Scarlet. "We're about to attack then base. We could use you on this mission." Scarelt asked hoping that Stahl would join them.

She was very disappointed to hear "I'm not going Scarlet". "Why? Why aren't you going?" Scarlet asked not expecting the door to open with Stahl staring at her with a serious and upset face. "I'm not going because Mothma is sending us to hell and Hera is just going along with it." Stahl complained leaning against his doorway.

Scarlet rolled her eyes at Stahls stupidity for not wanting to go. "Look we can all have a tak about this when we get back, but we need to focus on this mission and it would really benefit us if you helped" Scarlet asked again not changing Stahls mind.

Before Stahl spoke he leaned forward so that he was close enough to Scarlets face whispering "Get this through your head. I am not going because Hera is acting like a lapdog and not the leader that I had originally decided to follow. So when she decides to think like a real person would and not a military person then she can come talk to me" shutting the door behind him.

Scarlet just stood there paralyzed at Stahls words. She had never heard Stahl talk bad about Hera, the others yes, but never about the person he respected the most. In a small bit of anger Scarlet muttered "Yeah well, who needs a pathetic warrior like you" hitting Stahls door before heading to the Phantom.

As Scarlet climbed up the latter she could hear the ship powering up. She managed to join the others just as Hera pulled out of the Ghost and began piloting toward the base.

Hera swooped around the base staying far back in the asteroid field to hide themselves as she waited for Kanans attack. During that time period Sabine made a couple of last minute preparations.

In the corner of her eye she noticed Ezra breathing calmly in and out. Sabines body stopped what it was doing as she stared at Ezra. She was being pulled into Ezra's enchantress again seeing his handsome face and blue eyes. Being an artist Sabine paid very close attention to every detail of Ezras face and his body.

Sabine stared for what felt like a few minutes before she was yanked out of her thoughts by Heras piloting skills. Hera had swiftly turned the ship towards the base as she saw another explosion in the distance followed by the sweet sound of sirens.

"Everyone get ready we're heading in fast" Hera ordered as the ship neared the base. Everyone readied their weapons just as Hera landed across the back landing pad of the base.

Unfortunately all the stormtroopers hadn't moved to the front of the base where the attack was happening. So when they saw Heraaa approach and land 12 stormtroopers took cover behind some crates and opened fire on the Phantom.

The shots were effective enough to cause permanent damage to the ship. But telling that to Sabine wasn't going to change the fact that the shots were scratching the paint.

Sabine furiously burst out of the Phantom flying straight at the stormtroopers two grenades in hand.

The troopers refocused their fire on Sabine trying to hit her as she rapidly advanced on them.

She made a quick swoop over the troopers making them take cover as she left them a little gift. The troopers didn't notice it and just kept firing at Sabine. After a few seconds the troops suddenly went flying in every direction dead by the time their bodies hit the ground.

Sabine soon landed by the dead bodies beginning to hack the imperial console. The others soon joined her with Scarlet muttering "Show off" which made Sabine smile.

The 3 watched Sabines back as she continued to hack the consol. They heard the echoes of the battling at the front of the base and it sounded like it was intensifying.

"Sounds like the distraction is working better than we thought" Ezra commented getting "Kanan does know how to keep the empire on its toes" from Hera.

A few minutes later and Sabine successfully opened the door. "After you" Sabine gracefully said as the four entered the base.

The four walked down a large hallway for a good bit before they came across a panel. Sabine jumped over it and began hacking the system. It didn't take long before she found a map to the weapons depo and downloaded it to her comm link.

She then began leading everyone to the weapons depo. However Ezra had this disturbing feeling that something bad was about to happen. Ezra couldn't sense any other people following them so his feeling just made Ezra more confused. Ezra focused too much on his feelings that he began to fall behind the crew until he came to a halt.

Hera was the first to notice ordering the others to stop as she went back to Ezra. "Ezra are you ok?" Hera asked placing a hand on his shoulder. "I-i don't know. I just have this feeling like something's gonna happen. But I don't sense anyone else's presence near us" Ezra replied shaking his head trying to get the feeling out.

Hera stopped him saying "Ezra just calm down. I may not know much about the force, but whenever you a Kanan have these funny feelings something usually happens. We just need to....".

"HERA WATCH OUT" Ezra yelled when a random turret burst out of the wall and tried to stun Hera. Luckily Ezra was quick enough to grab his lightsaber and block the shot.

However about 30 more currents appeared out of the wall and shot at all four of them. The amount of blaster currents easily overwhelmed the crew as they fell unconscious.

Ten minutes later a group appeared over the sleeping crew. The group weren't typical stormtroopers. The group that had managed to knock out the Ghost crew all wore a black robe with a mask covering their faces as their hoods covered everything else. Their wardrobe was a mixture of blue and green and they all carried heavy weapons.

The leader of the group stood in the middle. He or she examined the unconcious rebels as the person thought about who would be worth taking.

The leaders second in command started boasting "Well look what a fine catch we have caught ourselves today brothers". The others cheered behind their fellow soldiers boasts. They all began clamorating about the rewards they would be getting with this spacefic catch. Hera was worth 600,000 credits to Thrawn alone. Followed by ezra being 750,000 credits, Sabine 575,000 credits, and Scarlet being 520,000 credits to the Empire. The team had really made a huge catch.

However in the middle of their cheering the leader told them "No. We take the boy and only him. Leave the rest of the rebels here". The second in command looked at his leader confused. He hesitantly said "But Commander Wren these rebels are worth so much to the Empire. Couldn't we just at least take the Twi'lek with us?".

"No" was all the commander said before Wren shot the Zygerian before he could speak another word. The others gasped at their brothers lifeless body. "Now that I got your attention let me make this absolutely clear. We are only to be taking Bridger that's it." The commander ordered scowling st the men as Wren said the last part "Any questions?".

"No Commander Wren!" The troops shouted as the took Ezra's body and gently carried it to their ship. Once the men were out of sight the leader took of their helmet breathing in a breath of fresh air. Wren then turned to Sabine taking off the girls helmet.

"Huh. So you changed your hair due again" Wren asked knowing the obvious answer to that. Wren continued to study Sabines features admiring how she had changed since the last time the two had meet.

Wren's comm link soon beeped as Wren heard one of the soldiers say "Commander the prisoner is aboard The Fallen and we're ready to return to Zygeria". "Copy that" Wren said standing up and walking off.

Before Wren was too far from Sabine Wren looked back saying "Hope you weren't too attached to that boy Sister because come the next 4 days I will make him mine. So consider me sparring you from becoming an Imperial property making us even" continuing the walk away.
