On the Shadow Caster

When Stahl woke up from his slumber he felt a presence in front of him. When his eye's adjusted to the darkness. When stahl saw her tatoe he smiled at last nights memories of ketsu becoming Stahls girlfriend. All of a sudden Stahls comm link started to beep waking Ketsu up too "hello" Stahl said "Stahl you ok, you didn't come back to the Ghost last night", Stahl recognised that voice as his mother Hera "yes mom I'm just here with Ketsu" Stahl said kissing her on the cheek. "Oh ok well you didn't forget about today, right?" Hera asked concerned that Stahl had forgotten Sabine's birthday "yes Hera I remember, I'll be there in 10 minutes" Stahl said still sleepy from last night "ok"Hera said and disconnected the comm link. "Well I gotta go Ket" Stahl said and as he got up Ketsu grabbed his chest and said "you aren't going anywere" "I wish I could stay with you all day but I have to go to your sister's birthday" Stahl said to Ketsu "today's Sabine's birthday?" Ketsu said shocked that she forgot her little sister's birthday "yep, don't worry I'm sure the best thing you can do for her is just to show up" Stahl said making Ketsu feel better. "Thanks demon" Ketsu said teasingly making Stahl role his eyes "no problem" Stahl said getting up and ready for his big sister's birthday.

At the Ghost

Today was the busiest day for the Ghost crew considering it was their talented artist and weapons experts birthday. Hera was decorating the common room and getting everything ready for the party, Kanan was setting up the activities that they would do later, Zeb and Chopper were busy baking the cake, Ezra was busy rapping the gifts for Sabine, the birthday girl was either sleeping in or painting her room, no one dared to disturb her, Stahl was making the finishing touches on his project, Rex was getting clearance from Commander Sato to take the day off, and Ahsoka was with Ketsu buying a gift for Sabine.

1 hour

Sabine had just woken up from her long nap and decided to get dressed and go see what everybody was doing. However when Sabine opened her door Hera came over in front of her to block Sabine's vision and said in a sweet tone "sorry sweety but you can't come out just yet" "come hera that's not really fair" Sabine complained "I know but it's a big surprise since it's your birthday" Hera replied, Sabine just groaned but agreed "fine mom" "good girl, I'll come knock on your door when we are ready" Hera said in her motherly tone. When Sabine went back in her room to paint or something Hera went back to decorating the Ghost.

5 hours later

Everyone was finishing up on the last touches on Sabine's birthday party. When Rex, Ahsoka, and Ketsu finished what they needed to do they helped with setting up them events that were going to happen. When everyone was ready, Hera went to Sabine's room to get her.

Sabine's room

Sabine had been painting a picture that she wouldn't let anyone see because if she did she would never hear the end of it. Right as Sabine was about to add the finishing blue before she heard a knock on her door and a voice Sabine could only recognise as her mother "Sabine were ready". Sabine covered her painting and walked over to her door, she opened it to see Hera with a purple blindfold "put this on"Hera ordered "why"Sabine asked confused. Hera just gave her a glare that made Sabine put it on, Hera then guided Sabine to the common room and when Hera removed the blindfold Sabine saw all her friends yell "surprise!". When Sabine saw her family and her friends she was so happy she would have probably exploded. "Happy birthday sweety" Hera said hugging her daughter who hugged back, soon everyone joined in on the group big. When they separated Kanan said "happy birthday, since it's your special day you are the one who chooses what to do first. Challenges, presents, dinner, cake, or torture the person you hate most.". It took Sabine some time to think and although she really wanted to torture a certain person she decided "challenges, I want to show everyone who's boss around here", this made everyone laugh "alright on to the first challenge: dodgeball" Kanan announced making everybody cheer.

Outside the Ghost

Once ever body was outside Kanan explained the rules. Once everybody understood the rules the captains were Sabine and Hera. "I choose Zeb"Sabine said with an evil smile, Hera got extremely scared because Zeb can through extremely hard. Hera thought carefully at her options and decided "Chopper", Chopper whooped and rolled on over to Hera because Hera knew that Zeb could throw but could he catch was the real question. "Alright, I choose Rex" Sabine said and the clone walked to her team. After about 4 minutes of picking teammates the game began with team 1: Sabine, Zeb, Rex, Ketsu, and Kanan and team 2: Hera, Chopper, Ezra, Ahsoka, and Stahl. When the whistle blew both teams raced for the balls at the center, Zeb, Rex, Ezra, Hera, Kanan, and Chopper were the ones to grab the dodgeballs. Zeb through his ball with all his might at Chopper who easily blocked it with his ball, then Chopper spun around and threw his ball at Zeb who attempted to catch it but had no luck and was out. Ezra aimed his ball at Sabine because she was wide open and not paying attention to him, but when he threw his ball kanan threw his ball in order to stop Ezras and protect his captain, Ezra just gave him a glare for blocking his shot and not realizing that Rex threw his ball at Ezra getting him out. Hera was trying to find an opening to hit kanan and as she was looking for it she didn't see Ketsu throw a dodgeball staight towards her, it would have hit her if Ahsoka hadn't thrown hers to stop Ketsus. When Hera saw this she backed up to Ahsoka and said "thanks" "no problem, just try to pay attention to your surroundings" Ahsoka said while being mindful of her surroundings. Kanan had attempted to throw his ball at Chopper but he just caught it getting Kanan out and Ezra back in. When Sabine saw another one of her players get out she was starting to get worried that she might lose, Sabine threw the ball towards Stahl who just bent his knees forward and bent his back backwards. When Stahl got back up he yelled "missed", but wasn't paying attention to another ball that came and hit him on the left side of his face making him twirl, after Stahl got up he saw that it was Ketsu who threw the ball and Stahl mouthed "your dead tonight" making Ketsu somewhat nervous. Rex was completely open to attack and Hera, Ahsoka, and Chopper saw this and threw their balls at him, Rex tried to catch them but his old self wasn't built to catch many things at once so he ended up getting out. Sabine had saw an opening to get Hera out and she took it, however Hera had taken Ahsokas words and was midful of her surroundings enough to see the ball coming straight towards her and she ducked it. Ezra saw Ketsu wide open and took the shot, Ketsu saw the ball coming and dodged Ezras but didn't see the one Chopper threw that hit her on the shoulder. Sabine was the last one on her team with no balls making her get scared, everyone had a ball and they threw it at Sabine. As good as a dodger Sabine was, she couldn't dodge all of them because one hit her on the leg ending the game.

After the teams congratulated each other Sabine went up to Hera and asked "how" Hera just smiled and said "the best players you can have in dodgeball are the people who can catch". "Next challenge: art" Kanan anounced

Art challenge

Sabine knew she had this in the bag because her top passion was art and considering that her contestence was Ezra and Stahl she figured she had this in the bag. "The competition is simple: paint any picture you want, when the judges see each picture they will then decide who the winner is. You've got one hour, begin" Kanan announced. The three contestence were off, Sabine painted her picture with ease, Ezra was having trouble with his, and Stahl was doing very best in his picture.

One hour later

"Times up" Kanan announced "let the judges see your paintings". Sabine turned hers around towards Hera, Ahsoka, and Rex, Sabine's painting was the Ghost crew. Hera and Ahsoka gave her thumbs up but Rex gave her a thumbs down because he was upset that he and Ahsoka wasn't  in the picture. Although Sabine was disappointed in not getting all the judges to like her picture she was still confident she would win. Next Ezra showed his picture of what looked like a loth-cat but it was a little bad, however the picture caused everyone to laugh so the judges gave him the middle thumb. *Almost there* Sabine thought as Stahl showed his painting, when Stahl turned around his painting it was a picture of Sabine kissing Ezra on the cheek making him blush. Ezra and Sabine both saw this in shock and when they looked at each other they blushed madly, the judges saw this reaction and decided to give him a thumbs up for making his other competitors blush. Sabine was both mad and surprised she lost in an art competition.

After competition

Before Kanan announced the final competition Sabine just said "can I get to torture someone" "sure Sabine, who do you want to torture" Kanan asked, although she wanted to get at Stahl for choosing a picture that got him a victory in art, she decided "Ezra". When Ezra herd this he asked "why me? I didn't beat you" "if you answer this question no one will get tortured, do you love me?" Sabine asked. Ezra was extremely nervous at his options; it was either get tortured by Sabine or admit his feelings to her again, after 2 minutes Ezra answered "I can't answer that" "then the crew and I are going to enjoy ourselves" Sabine said with a evil smile. Sabine had ordered Ezra to lie his back on a flat table with his arms up above his head and Ezra did that, as soon as he did Sabine tied his hands so he couldn't move them back and Zeb tied his legs together. In an instance Ezra realized what he had gotten himself into "nooooooo, please Sabine anything but this" he begged "answer the question and you won't have to go through it" Sabine replied leaning close to his face. "I told you I can't" Ezra replied "wrong answer" Sabine said, everyone (but chopper) was assigned a spot, Hera and Sabine were at Ezras armpits, Kanan and Zeb were at his stomach, Rex and Ahsoka were at his legs, and Ketsu and Stahl were at his feet. When Sabine yelled "tickle" everyone tickle Ezra and in no time at all he screamed like those spiders "HAHAHAHAHAHA NOHOHOHOHOHO STOHOHOHP IHIHIHIT" Ezra cried out from the intense tickling he was experiencing, "are you going to answer the question" Sabine asked still tickling him "NOHOHOHO HAHAHAHAHA" Ezra screamed and the others just kept continuing their assault. 10 minutes had gone by and the crew were enjoying themselfs but Ezra was already crying because it felt like a million cats licking his entire body and he couldn't shew them away. After about 2 more minutes Ezra yelled "IHIHIHILL ANSWER IHIHIT HAHAHAHA HAHAHAHA" Ezra yelled while laughing "well" Sabine asked "YEHEHEHEHES IHIHIHI LOVE YOUHUHUHU, PLEAHEHEHS STOHOHOHOP" Ezra answered. Once Sabine gave the signal to stop she untied Ezra who was still giggling and stayed beside him for 2 and half minutes before they went inside to have dinner.

After dinner

When dinner was over that consisted of spicy soup that Stahl had to drink 3 cups of ice cold water because of his meal with Ketsu last night. Everybody sat in the common room to give Sabine her presents, the first one to give their present was Hera and as she gave her gift to Sabine she said "happy birthday" "thanks mom" Sabine replied, when she opened her present to find a blueprint for making the most explosive bombs in the galaxy she squealed and gave Hera a bear hug saying "thank you" but all she got was a "Sabine....air", after hearing this Sabine let go of Hera so she could breath. The next person to give Sabine their gift was Zeb and Chopper, when Sabine opened their present a big glob of chocolate pudding shot at her face making everybody laugh,"mmm this is good, but you guys are still dead tomorrow" Sabine replied as she cleaned her face "hahaha its still funny and besides it was Choppers idea" Zeb said making Chopper and him get into an argument that ended quickly by everyone giving glares at them. Next was Ahsokas and Rexes gift, Sabine opened it to find a box of the newest paints in the galaxy "thank you" Sabine said as she hugged both of them "your welcome" Ahsoka said as they separated. Ketsu was the next one to give Sabine her gift and when she opened it she found a weapon part followed by a "it enhances the silence on your pistols" Ketsu explained, although Sabine liked it she said "thanks Ketsu, you didn't have to get me something, I was fine on you just showing up" "gee doesn't that sound familiar" Stahl said giving a look at Ketsu,"we will not discuss this here unless..." Ketsu said but Stahl replied quickly with "I get the message". When Stahl was suppose to give his gift he said "I'll be right back" and headed to his room, after 1 minute later he came back and said "close your eyes Sabine" she did as she was told until she felt some weight on her hand. Sabine then opened her eyes to find a wooden picture of the Ghost crew followed by a "it took me a month and a half to carve that, all it's missing now is the color but I leave that all up to you" Sabine just looked up at him with joyfulness in her eyes that she received a gift like this from the person who dispised her when they first met "thank you Stahl" Sabine said then nodded which Stahl nodded back with a "welcome". Since Kanan couldn't exactly see he just said "my gift to you is I'll do your chores for an entire month". This made Sabine extremely happy because it gave her a chance to use her new paints and finish her new family picture. Now for the final gift; Ezra was nervous about giving his gift since his gift was an idea Stahl had given him, Ezra looked at Stahl for approval and all Stahl did was just nodded. Ezra slowly took out a drawing and handed it too Sabine, when she saw the drawing she admired it and showed it to the rest of the crew who awwwed at it. The picture was Ezra and Sabine holding hands watching the sunset on lothal, Sabine got up and walked towards Ezra, when she sat down next to him she smiled and said "so I guess I didn't have to torture you to find" Ezra just chuckled and said "I enjoyed it anyway". After the crew sang happy birthday to Sabine everyone went to bed, but before Ezra could go into his room he felt a hand grab his shoulder, turn him around and before Ezra could say anything he felt a pair of lips connecting his, soon he melted into the kiss. When he opened his eyes he found himself staring into the most beautiful Brown eyes, "were do you think your going" Sabine asked "to bed" Ezra answered, "well your sleeping with me tonight" Sabine said hugging Ezra.

Sabines room

When Ezra and Sabine entered the room Ezra noticed a white blanket covering a part of the wall. Ezra went over to it and asked "why is this part of the wall covered up" "it's covering up a picture that led me to asking if you love me" Sabine answered, "well can I see it" Ezra asked "sure" Sabine answered. When Sabine removed the blanket it revealed a picture of Ezra and Sabine kissing in the moonlight. "Do you like it" Sabine asked nervous "I love it" Ezra said turning towards her and giving her a quick kiss. For the rest they enjoyed each others company.
