Blood Wall

This is entirely my idea it has nothing to do with the "real" star wars universe. That being said this most likely will end up being in my future stories after my Lost Child book. So enjoy.

Krownest

The sound of metal could be clashing from down the hallway of the Wren house. Sabine and Tristan had been training constantly for their mission on Mandalore. Both were good, about on each other's level, but Sabine had much more fighting experience.

Sabine narrowly blocked a high attack that Tristan tried to use to gain the advantage. It soon backfired on him when Sabine used the bottom to hit him straight in the chest causing him to back away. Tristan grabbed his chest feeling the pain of Sabine's blow. This gave Sabine enough time to regain her footing and recover a little stamina. Both of them knew that during a fight you take every second of breath that was available because you never know how long a fight could last for. Some last a few moments, others up to hours. Of course this all depended on the warriors and for the two skilled mandalorians their fight could go on for days.

However they didn't have days to spend training, their mission was about 3 hours away so Sabine had to end this battle in one very effective strike. First Sabine began walking in a circle with Tristan doing the same thing. Both of them kept their eyes on one another not letting the other have an inch. The two kept walking for a little bit longer before Sabine was standing where the sun laid directly on her back. It blinded Tristan making him put his hands over his eyes leaving him wide open for attack. Sabine smiled and took her advantage. She spun around closing her eyes as the sun hit her face. Every moment she spent spinning she used up more and more of her power that she had hoping to end this fight. Mainly to show Tristan who is boss around their house, and to get even for last time.

Once her face was away from the suns rays she opened her eyes locking on to her target. Sabine gave her biggest yell yet as she swung at Tristan with all her power. Tristan had just barely regained his eyesight as he saw Sabine in the air throwing out a big swing. Tristan used the back end of the staff barely blocking it.

Howevrr since he didn't have enough footing he was swung around with his back facing his sister. Tristan soon felt his feet get swept losing any friction on the ground. As Tristan flew through the air he felt Sabine bring her poll down on his sides. Tristan hit the ground hard nearly making him get the wind knocked out of him.

Sabine placed her right foot on Tristans back making it clear to him that she was triumphant. Tristan couldn't do anything more at the position he was in. So Tristan said "you win Sabine" thinking that she would step off him. Tristan was wrong, Sabine wasn't satisfied with just beating him. No, Sabine wanted him to say that she was the best out of them two. "Say it" Sabine randomly said to Tristan. Tristan didn't understand by what Sabine meant by "say it".

Sabine then went and said again "say it Tristan" making Tristan look up at her asking "say what Sabine". Sabine smiled evily at her little brother saying "say I'm the best between us".

Tristan's eyes widened, this whole time she was after revenge for when she arrived with the Jedi months ago.

Tristan began struggling trying to get out of Sabine's grip. He soon felt the pole Sabine had hit his back making him groan in pain as he heard Sabine say "say it". Tristan just lifted his head not making eye contact with Sabine saying "never".

*Never huh* Sabine thought to herself as she knew what she was gonna do to him. Before Sabine did however she gave Tristan one last chance wacking his back again hearing another painful groan. Sabine then said "say it" hearing Tristan yell "NEVER" sealing his fate.

Sabine grabbed Tristan by the back collar and began dragging him to the balcony. Tristan was unable to do anything from Sabine's cruelty. That didn't mean however he didn't try, but it ended in failure.

Once Sabine got to the balcony she threw Tristan over the edge holding onto his feet so he wouldn't fall. Tristan yelled in fear from the height he was looking at. Sabine admired every second of her brothers terrified face.

Sabine let Tristan dangle for a little bit longer teasing him by pretending to almost drop him. Every time Tristan would give a loud yell scared terrible. It almost came to the point to where he turned white as the snow.

Even though Sabine was loving her brothers torture she knew that eventually she would lose her grip. So Sabine said "say it" still looking straight at his face.

Tristan couldn't take anymore of it. Even though submission wasn't of mandalorian way he knew that Sabine would just find better ways to torture him. Tristan gave a loud yell saying "YOUR THE BEST" hoping it was all over.

Sabine, satisfied with what she got pulled her brother onto the balcony.

As Tristan laid his feet on the metal he breathed more easily knowing that he was safe. Sabine laughed at her brother earning herself a scowl from him as he said "you are truly worthy of being an Imperial interrorgator". Sabine smiled at her brother's remark saying "I know, but I would be way better than the normal ones" scarring Tristan more as he replied "that's what scares me".

Sabine gave one last chuckle lightly punching her brother in the arm saying "lets go Tristan". Tristan smiled with Sabine as they both walked into the building.

Hallway

Sabine and Tristan walked across most of the building not really having a specific place to go.

As they passed by a certain room Sabine's pase began slowering until she stopped only a few feet away from the room.

Tristan quickly noticed his sister not next to him. So he looked back seeing her enter the memorial room. Tristan wondered what she was doing in there. Only way was to go after her.

Tristan entered the room to find Sabine starring at the large wall of hand blood paints (if you don't get it now I'll explain at the end) with every Wren that has lived name under each palm. The hand that Sabine was starring at was their fathers.

Tristan must have thought Sabine was worried about the mission since she entered the room to only look at his memorial.

Tristan walked up to her asking "you worried about the mission" catching Sabine out of her thoughts. Sabine just looked at Tristan for a brief moment before she looked back at the wall saying "yeah". Tristan looked at the hand to thinking about all of the good times they had spent together, as a family.

It was so long ago since they had been a family that Tristan had almost forgotten what it felt like. Being under Gar Saxons troop squaderan didn't help much.

However after this mission there would be a chance to finally have that family they had when Sabine a Tristan were do young.

Tristan decided to break the silence by asking "so, did you ever put your blood on the wall?". Sabine smiled lowering her head as she knew what Tristan was trying to do.

Sabine pointed over at the 13 year old hand print saying "right before I left for the academy". She walked over to it and admired how straight her knife marks were. It was the most important part about the tradition. Any mistake given to the marks during the naming and that person would have to leave their mistake(s) for the rest of the clans history. The perfect marks would show how much the Mandalorian had practiced before performing it on the blood wall.

As Sabine finished admiring her hand print she noticed that Tristan's hand print wasn't on the wall. "Tristan, where's your hand print?" Sabine asked looking at him.

Tristan looked over at his sister for a moment before he said "I haven't put mine on yet". Before Sabine could say anything else Tristan said "I was scheduled to put mine on while you were at the academy, but when you left clan Saxon raided our clan and I was forced to serve him before I got my chance.".

Sabine was struck by this, not only did she cause the once dutchess to destroy Mandalorians but she also interrupted one of her clans most important culture events. The guilt built up inside of her as she still processed everything.

Sabine looked over at her brother who still stared at their fathers hand. Sabine placed her hand on his shoulder saying "Tristan I'm so sorry."

Tristan looked at Sabine in the eyes and....smiled. He was smiling at Sabine because she knew exactly what she had done and was able to confess her mistakes. Not many people in the galaxy are able to do that, especially Mandalorians.

"Its ok Sabine, I'll just put my hand on the wall after we rescue dad." Tristan said patting her sister on the back. Tristan then began walking toward the exit saying "lets go sister" waving toward the exit.

Sabine just returned his commet with a smile saying "I'll be there soon". She then turned toward her father's hand mark saying "don't worry dad, we're coming for you" before bowing to it and running after Tristan.

Hope you all like this story now for a bit more clearing since this story might not have been clear enough. The blood wall is basically a wall where each Mandalorian cuts their hand and places their blood on the wall. Of course this is when the Mandalorian has proven him/herself worthy of placing their blood on the clans wall. Then the Mandalorian would take a hammer and knife and mark their name in the wall. Again this is all my idea of how they would keep their ancestors memories with them besides their reforging of armor. Everyone is welcome to use this idea if they want since ideas are meant to spread. Until I update again...
