Chapter 1

It was quiet on Lothal that made it seem like a peaceful place to live in. Until an explosion sounded near the Empire's main base station taking out their communication satellite and rendering them unable to give commands. The troopers began running about trying to put out the fire to salvage with what's left of their famous communication tower to put the communication satellite back up online. What they failed to noticed is that they were being watched by a young boy no older than eighteen in colorful Mandalorien armor that he forged with his family. He had one knee up in a kneeling position while his other was bended on the floor.

Smirking underneath his helmet, Sevin Wren turned his comm on, that was attached to his helmet, and said "Spector 5 to Ghost, mission accomplished. Got what we needed?"

"This is Ghost, we got the supplies and are waiting at the rendevou point," Hera said back to him through the comm.

"Copy that, I'm on my way," Sevin said back to Hera before standing up and running across the rooftop to the rendevou point.

It had been two years since a tragedy occurred with losing one of their own. This had devastated the entire crew and changed everything about them. They still fought for those who cannot, while getting a bite out of the Empire, but they also fought for the purpose of keeping the spirit of their friend alive. Sevin had been devastated when their youngest crew member sacrificed herself so the others could get away from the Empire. Everyone was devastated by their youngest members death. When the explosion cleared, they had looked all around for Elanna but there was no trace of her body anywhere. She was just gone.

Kanan had resorted to becoming a better Jedi Master and leader to make sure no one on his team got left behind, Zeb had become a bit more gruff, Hera had lost a sense of laughter Elanna gave to the crew, and Chopper had become a lot sad like the crew and rarely zapped anyone much. Everyone did, however, pay attention on missions to make sure that no one gets hurt like they did. Sevin had been hurt about the bad things he thought about the girl when she first smiled at him and blushed to indicate that she was crushing on him, now there was no way to apologize for that.

Once Sevin had arrived at the rendevou, he saw the Ghost already there with Hera and Kanan standing on the ramp waiting for him while talking to each other about something. "Hey, what's going on?" Sevin asked as he reached them.

"I have received a message from Fulcrum about a informant of their own being captured by the Imperials and informed me of the informant being a familiar person that we once knew," Hera replied placing a hand on Kanan's chest as she looked down with tears in her eyes while Kanan put his arm around her shoulder's in comfort.

"Wait....are you saying that she's alive?" Sevin asked with wide eyes.

"We don't know for sure. Fulcrums sent coordinates to us to allow us to meet with one of Fulcrum's people in person to tell us more and will ask for us to help Fulcrum's people on the mission to rescue their informant," Kanan answered for Hera as she became sad at the thought of their youngest member that was like a daughter to her.

"How do we know that this isn't a trap set up by the Empire themselves?" Sevin asked suspiciously.

"Fulcrum has been the one supplying us with food and everything we need to keep our part of the rebellion going while also giving us missions to take a bite out of the Empire as well," Hera informed Sevin on why the information about the missions was withheld from the crew in the first place.

"Besides, if there's such a chance that Elanna's still alive, then we have to take the risk and see," Kanan said desperate to find out if his old Padawan is still alive.

Sevin sighed and said, "Okay, but if this is a trap then I'm gonna seriously say that I told you so," before heading into the Ghost and waited in the mess hall for the rest of the crew to arrive.

Hera had switched from wearing brown shoulder pads to wearing none and had on a new set of pilot ear plugs. Kanan had began wearing a dark green sweatshirt without the dark green armor on, had grown a beard and a longer ponytail, and a new gloves. Zeb had taken off his shoulder pads and grown a bit stronger over the years. Sevin had changed the color of his armor and resorted to rebellious pictures of an owl on one armor shoulder, a checkerboard paint job across his chest, the rebellion Phoenix symbol, and so much fun other colorful splatters across his armor, and had even had his hairstyle changed to a light purple color going down his head while changing to a white color.

Soon, chopper rolled in and beeped something before rolling away quickly until he was behind the couch. That's when Zeb ran in growling and asked Sevin angrily, "Where's that rust bucket of bolts?"

Bored of it, Sevin pointed behind the couch on the other side, next to the door that was once used to lock Elanna away in hopes of teaching her a lesson to not complain about Zeb's smell, and watched as Zeb ran after the scared droid. The ship went up and into hyperspace, once Hera and Kanan had reached the cockpit, following the coordinates sent by Fulcrum. Sevin just wondered that after two years of being gone, why would word of Elanna show up now?

He could vaguely remember the last time he saw her, before they went on the mission, she had trouble trying out a new move and asked for his assistance. Sevin had complied and shot stuns at her until somehow she ended up behind him with the heat of her light blue lightsaber pointed behind him. Impressed, Sevin had asked how she learned that and Elanna simply replied that she learned it from the files of Kanan's holocron. After that, she shedded her lightsaber and thanked him for helping her out, with a light blush on her cheeks, before heading inside to prepare for the mission. That was the last time he helped her after the mission gone wrong.

The Empire had found out about their supply raid and sent in the Inquisitor to finish them off. Kanan and Elanna had sent the crew ahead of them to fend off the Inquisitor before Hera arrived with the Ghost to pick them up. Only Kanan came aboard and said that Elanna had set off a bomb and sent the blast of the bomb to the Inquisitor while taking the rest of the blast herself from behind her old house. The crew had searched for days before it became way too dangerous to search any longer and pronounced Elanna Bridger dead.

Finally, they arrived at the coordinates location and came out of hyperspace to see them approaching Garrell. Hera contacted the rest of the crew to have them prepare for their meeting with Fulcrum's people. Wedge stood outside the spaceship port waiting for the General's old crew to arrive and hoped that they were not too late while holding one of the two lightsabers that Rex was given by the General before her capture and the one he held was the one her old crew would recognize. Soon the ship landed in a spaceport and the crew came out looking for Fulcrum's person. Sevin then saw a man wearing a Phoenix symbol on his right shoulder and came over to the guy before asking the code, "Why wear that symbol?"

"Because it represents the freedom we used to have and provides protection for me and my family," Wedge replied in the reply Fulcrum told him to reply in.

"Well, it is a long way to that particular freedom. I'm Sevin," Sevin said the first sentence in code and then held out his hand in greeting to which Wedge returned it.

"I'm Wedge and I'm here on important business regarding our informant but we can't talk here," Wedge replied shaking Sevin's hand, as the rest of the crew came over, before letting go and informing them of the situation.

"How about we speak of your information in our ship since you only brought yourself here," Hera suggested.

"That'll be great but I didn't come alone on this mission so if the rebellion has anymore information, then my partner will let me know," Wedge said informing them as they headed up the ramp of the Ghost ship and headed inside.

"Good to know, now will you tell us about your informant," Kanan asked.

"How about I show you," Wedge replied before showing one of the Generals lightsaber.

The crew gasped in shock, recognizing that as Elanna's first lightsaber she ever received and stood there frozen for a second before Kanan gently took the lightsaber out of Wedge's hand and looked it over. "This is definitely Elanna's first lightsaber she ever created before her death. But how is this possible, Elanna died on a mission against the Empire two years ago," Kanan confirmed to the shocked crew then asked the question to Wedge.

"Actually, your friend is very much alive but won't be for long if we don't rescue her from the Empire. The problem is, the prison facility we know she's being held in would expect us to return to rescue her but what they wouldn't expect would be you guys be the ones rescueing her," Wedge corrected informing the crew of Elanna's demise.

"How can she be alive? We searched everywhere and couldn't find her body," Sevin said in a protesting manner.

"That is where your wrong because we found her body in the alleyway hiding behind a couple of big crates to recover while hiding from the Empire," Wedge responded remembering the details Fulcrum gave him as well as the story the General told him about when the rebellion first found her.

"But, why wouldn't she come back to us if you guys took care of her?" Hera asked Wedge confused at this little twist.

"She already knew too much about the rebellion and she was not supposed to meet with those who are in the rebellion. That way if captured, you can never reveal what you already don't know about us. The General knew that and stayed with us to protect you guys while keeping tabs on you all and following the same protocol but now..." Wedge began to finish but was interrupted by a new voice a few feet away from him saying, in a female voice, "The protocol has changed."

Wedge turned to see his partner standing there before she pulled down her hood to reveal herself to the crew as Ahsoka Tano, the General's master. "Fulcrum," Hera said in awe at her informant standing here in front of them right now and not in a hologram.

"Ahsoka, my name is Ahsoka Tano and I'm Elanna's Jedi Master that taught her everything she needed to know about the Force while she figured out the rest for herself. But she won't last long in the prison right now because I've been getting readings from the Force and they have her underneath heavy torture right now at the moment to try and get her to talk. If we don't head out now, Elanna will lose her life in less than two days," Ahsoka responded before giving her report to Wedge.

"I thought we had a couple of weeks or so," Wedge protested.

"It seems we have less than that because she's undergoing some very heavy torture right now and guess who's leading it while enjoying it at the same time?" Ahsoka said to Wedge who looked confused for a moment before realization kicked in.

"Are you saying that Elanna's main enemy is torturing her right now?" Wedge asked Ahsoka in horror.

Ahsoka nodded her head as an answer before turning to the crew and saying "We need y'alls help or else all will be lost with Elanna for real this time. Please make your decision now while we still have time."

The crew looked at one another for a while before turning back to the Phoenix rebellion people and gave them their answer.
