72. "Wait a minute. Are you jealous?"

I stood in front of Sinker and let out a laugh as he told me about how he got trapped with Wolffe and the General.

"Wait Wolffe use to have two eyes?" I asked playfully.

"Yea, you know I think he was nicer with two eyes." He said with a laugh.

I rolled my eyes and we continued to talk before Wolffe came up to us.

"Sinker, get back to work." Wolffe ordered.

"Sir yes sir!" He exclaimed.

"You know you can give your men a break Commander." I said sternly.

"We are at war, Commander. You need to remember there is no breaks in war." He said as he pushed past me.

I let out a sigh and shook my head.

"Padawan, time to go." Plo said softly.

I nodded my head and climbed onto the ship. I held onto the handle and waited for us to land. We landed and I got my saber out and nodded my head to my master and we ran out and covered the clones.

"Padawan! Go help Wolfpack!" Plo ordered.

I nodded my head and ran to help them. I flipped over Wolffe and took out three droids before spinning and taking out another and blocking blasts from the droids.

"Commander (Y/n)! Boost has been hit!" Sinker yelled.

"Get him out of here! Comet with me!" I yelled.

I quickly took the rest out and then turned in time to see a droid aim it's gun at Comet.

"Get down!" I yelled as I jumped in front of it and deflected it back to the droid.

"Thanks Commander." He said with a smile.

"That was reckless!" A voice yelled.

I let out a sigh an turned to see Wolffe.

"You could of got yourself killed pulling a stunt like that! And aren't you suppose to be with the general?"

"He sent me to help you and if you don't realize I saved your life! Commander CC-3636!" I snapped glaring at him.

He looked at me shocked and I turned and looked at Comet.

"Comet get the wounded back on the main ship. Wildfire you go and check on the General. The rest is with me." I said as I turned and continued to walk forward.

Sinker soon caught up with us and walked beside me.

"Comet told me bout what you said to Wolffe..... you must be really mad."

"I have always tried to call you all by your names and not your numbers, I hate using numbers but I hate those who think they can order me around. I know what I am doing and am not a child." I said sternly.

"And we all know that." Sinker said softly.

"I wish Wolffe did."

We continued on and I split up in groups of two, me forced to go with Wolffe.

"We should go this way." Wolffe said as he stared into a tunnel.

"Something is telling me to go this way."

"With all due respect this leads into the caves and that leads out."

"Fine let's go your way! CC-3636." I growled out.

I followed him and we made it to a dead in.

"Oh look we are lost!" I snapped as I turned to look at him.

"Probably because we didn't take a left back there, like I-"

"Do you ever stop being a jerk!" I yelled as I turned to glare at him.

"Excuse me?"

"You are a jerk and a bossy one at that! You also never listen to anyone buy yourself and Plo! If you had listened to me we would of probably found the base already!" I yelled as I pushed past him.

I was stopped by Wolffe and pulled back and pressed against the wall. He covered my mouth and I glared up at him. I hear something moving and saw something pass by us. When it was gone he moved away.

"Thanks." I whispered as we snuck away.

He nodded his head and we continued on. After while he stopped and let out a sigh.

"I don't like how you are with the men." He said softly.

"What?" I asked with a frown.

"I hate how you get a long with them, but I can't even have a conversation with you without arguing."

"Why do you have to argue with me all the time?" I asked softly.

"Because I worry, I.. I should let you do your job, but I keep trying to protect you, because I care about you."

"Wolffe..."

"We should continue on." He said as he walked past me.

We soon finished the meeting and I stopped to talk to Sinker.

"Sinker get back to work!" Wolffe ordered.

Sinker took off and I turned to look at Wolffe. I saw him glaring at Sinker and a smile spread on my face.

"Wait a minute. Are you jealous?" I asked with a smirk.

"What! No... I.. I'm not...."

"You are!" I exclaimed with a laugh.

"Next time I'm letting you die." He said as he turned to walk away.

"You'd miss me to much." I said as I grabbed his hand.

I dragged him behind me and away from everyone. He looked at me confused and I looked up at him.

"You are one of the best Commanders we have, and I respect you a lot... but you have to realize that I'm not Master Plo and I'm not expecting you to always work so hard.. you and your men need breaks and normal lives."

"Normal lives? You know us clones won't ever have that." He said softly.

"If it's the last thing I do, I'm going to give you a normal life." I said with a smile.

Fifteen years later

I let out a laugh as I watched Sinker and Wolffe argue.

"Somethings never change." I said as I shook my head.

"(Y/n) tell him my way is better!" Wolffe yelled.

"Well... Sinkers way is faster..." I said calmly.

He sent me a look and I let out a laugh.

"Ha! Even your wife agrees!"

"Traitor." Wolffe said as he shook his head.

I let out a laugh and watched Sinker run off. I wrapped my arms around Wolfe's neck and he let out a sigh.

"Thank you." He said softly.

"Do what?"

"For keeping your promise." He said as he leaned down and gently kissed me.
