(N/n)- nickname

I let out a sigh as I worked on one of the gunships. I had a simple job, I was a mechanic which meant I fixed all the things the clones and the Jedi broke, but normally it was the clones who broke my ships. Speaking of clones, I let out a groan as the Wolfpack came in.

The Wolfpack is a group of clones under the command of General Plo Koon, their General is a kind and generous Jedi Master who always beings my ships back in one piece, their commander however.... let's say we don't see eye to... eye.

"Mechanic! Have you got the ship ready?" Wolffe asked as he walked up to me with his group.

"No, not yet. Seems you all did a number on it this time, Wolfie." I said with a smirk.

His eyes went wide and I smiled in victory as some of the clones held back a laugh.

"It's Commander Wolffe to you Mechanic." He growled out.

"Oh my bad, Commander Wolfie." I said as I turned and got back to work.

He went to say something but I put my headphones in. I smiled as I heard him stomp away.

"Nicely done (N/n)." Boost said with a laugh.

"The Commander is gonna complain about this for a week." Sinker said as he shook his head.

"Maybe if he was such a jerk to everyone, id actually be nice to him." I said as I crossed my arms over my chest.

"Hey we are goin to the 79's want to meet us there?" Comet asked with a smile.

"Sure I'll see you idiots there, oh and stop breakin my ships!" I yelled after they walked away.

It was soon time to go to 79's and I met up with the boys. Soon they left me and I was alone at the bar. I felt someone sit beside me and I turned my head to see Wolffe. I smiled as I realized he didn't recognize me, having never seen me without my mechanic suit and helmet on.

"Hi." I said as I sent him a smile.

"Hi." He said calmly.

"Names (n/n)." I said with a smile.

Thankfully he had never heard my nickname given by the clones.

"Wolffe. What are you doin here all by yourself?" He asked calmly.

"Didn't come alone, came with some friends who ditched me."

"Same. You look familiar, have I met you before?"

"I work as a mechanic, I'm friends with (Y/n)." I said softly.

"Oh yea, (Y/n)." He said with a growl.

"Don't gotta day her name so angry, what she do to piss you off?" I asked with a smile.

"Everything, that woman is reckless, stubborn and so disrespectful. Never in my life have I ever wanted to strangle someone so badly."

"Yea, She has that affect on people."

"Yea but thats not all. I also don't know what I'd do if something happened to the idiot. She puts herself on the line more then anybody I've ever met."

"Well she probably worries about you all. I know she cares about all of Wolfpack. She told me that you guys are her favorite."

"Don't tell me that.... it get my hopes up." He said as he let out a sigh.

I raised an eyebrow and he let out a chuckle.

"This stays between us, but I'm hopelessly in love with the idiot. She.. she confuses me and makes me angrier then anyone on my team, but I couldn't live without her..... She makes me laugh at how she dances when she thinks no one is looking, and then her laughter could cure a deaf man." He said with a smile.

"Have you seem her though?" I asked as I looked at my drink.

"Don't need to... I know no matter what she looks like she will beautiful to me."

"What if she has three eyes?"

"I only got one good one, so I guess she stole my second one."

"What if her face is covered in scars?"

"Scars show we are fighters."

"What if she-"

"She could have tentacles and I'd still love her. I didn't fall in love with her appearance, I feel in love with her stubbornness and her kindness." He said softly.

"Hey (Y/n)! Where did you go!" A voice asked.

I froze up and soon saw Sinker come over with Boost hangin on his arms, obviously drunk out of his mind.

"Oh Commander, Hey sorry to intrude, but I need (Y/n)'s help with Boost."

"(Y/n)?" Wolffe asked shocked.

His eyes landed on me and I quickly shot up and took Boost's other arm.

"Let's go." I said as I rushed them out.

The next day I contemplated not going in and calling in, but I knew that would only delay the inevitable. I made it to the ship and finished repairs. I let out a sigh as I saw Wolfpack walking towards me. Wolffe in front with his helmet on.

"The ships already to go." I said calmly.

He nodded his head and hopped on. I let out a sigh as I turned and left, walking towards a different ship to start working on. It was a week before they returned and I saw them leave to get bandaged up. I saw Wolffe talking to Plo and I looked back at the ship and got to work.

Before I realized what had happened I felt a sharp pain and was thrown back to the ground. I let out a groan as I set up and saw my hand was black. I felt a hand go under my hand and arms and I was picked up. I couldn't hear anything and he room was spinning. I soon felt myself pass out and when I woke up I was in the medbay. I raised u land let out a groan.

"Easy, you took a rough hit." A voice said.

I looked up to see Wolffe looking down at me. I let out a sigh and threw my head back down on the pillow.

"What happen?" I asked as I covered my eyes.

"You electrocuted yourself, badly. You um.... you lost your arm." He said softly.

"Great, guess that's what I get for losing your trust." I said as I let out a sigh.

"You didn't lose my trust." He said softly.

"Wolffe I lied about who I was and got you to tell me things you probably didn't ever want to tell me... that was a horrible thing and this I deserve-"

"I knew it was you. Boost told me your nickname months ago, and I saw you without your helmet off once in the medbay."

"Why didn't you-"

"Cause I knew that I wouldn't of told you how I felt if you knew I knew it was you... I understand if you don't feel the same and I will respect your-"

I quickly used my good arm and pulled him down and connected our lips. He let out a sigh and moved his hand to the back of my neck and pulled me closer. I smiled against his lips and gently pulled away.

"I love you too you idiot." I whispered.

"Gotta say... I am sad you don't have three eyes." He said with a chuckle.

I smacked his shoulder and he let out a laugh.
