I held my breath as I clutched the datapad to my chest and walked toward Thrawn's office. I let out a shaky breath and gently knocked on his door.

"Come in." His normal deep voice said.

I put in my card and then waited for the door to open. I walked inside and looked at the ground.

"I um... I have a datapad for you to... to sign." I whispered.

"Hand it to me." He said as he let out a sigh.

Thrawn has gotten use to my whispering and constant inability to look him in the eyes. It wasn't my fault though, since I had met the tall male I had become fawn of him and started to form a crush, which made me extremely shy.

My shaky hands handed it to him and he looked it over once before signing it and handing it to me.

"Tell Kallus, from now on to bring his complaints to me face to face." Thrawn ordered.

I nodded my head and waited to be dismissed. Thrawn let out another sigh and dismissed me. I turned and rushed out of his office. I soon made it to Agent Kallus' office and glared at him.

"Next time being your complaint to him yourself." I said as I threw the datapad down.

"Superior officer." He said not looking up from his datapad.

"More like superior pain in the ass. Come on Alexandr you can't face him like a man, or are you to much of a child?" I asked playfully.

"Hello Admiral." He said as he sent me a smirk.

I straightened up and he let out a laugh and nearly fell from his seat.

"You have it bad (n/n)!" He exclaimed in a fit of laughter.

"Screw you." I said as I turned and walked away.

Kallus had been one of my closest friends since the academy, we both passed with flying colors, him becoming an agent and me soon joining his team. I was never good at leading, I always was more of a follower.

"Agent (L/n), to Grand Admiral Thrawn's office." The intercom called.

I let out a groan and walked towards Thrawn's office.  I let out a sigh as I put my card in and waited for the door to open. I stepped in and my eyes instantly light up upon seeing my old instructed.

"Colonel Yularen, a pleasant surprise to see you again." I said as he sent me a smile.

"As it is to see you, (Y/n). I hear you are one of Admiral Thrawn's best agents." He said with a smile.

"I knew I was smarter then Kallus." I said playfully.

"Very funny (n/n). Anyways, Colonel it is a surprise to see you here." Kallus said softly.

"I am here to help find the spy in our ranks." He explained.

"A spy? Did you know we had a spy Kallus?" I asked as I looked at him.

"Thrawn brought it to my attention. I thought he had already told you." Kallus explained.

"Colonel I want both you and Agent (L/n) to work together to find the spy." Thrawn said calmly.

"Yes sir." I said softly.

We soon where dismissed and I turned to leave.

"(L/n), please stay behind." Thrawn said calmly.

I silently cursed my luck and stopped and turned to look at Thrawn. The door shut and I held my breath.

"You are very peculiar. I first thought you were shy around your superior officers, but now I see it seems to only be me.... why is that?" He asked calmly.

"I... I act shy? I didn't.. um... notice." I said softly.

"Are you perhaps afraid of me?" He asked as he stopped in front of me.

"No!.... I mean.. no sir." I said as I looked at the ground.

I felt his hand under my chin and he forced me to meet his eyes. I felt my cheeks heat up and I held my breath.

"Or.... do you possibly have feelings for me?" He asked as he met my eyes.

"I.... I..."

I lost track of thought as I stared into his eyes sternly stared into mine. I saw a small smirk appear on his face and he pulled away and walked over to his seat.

"I already know who Fulcrum is." He said calmly.

"Then why.... um.... why did you.... have Colonel Yularen come here?"

"To see how he will react on being cornered."

"He?" I asked as I watched him.

"Agent Kallus."

"Kallus would never betray the Empire. Kallus is one of the most respected members in our ranks! You have no proof but a thought-"

"So you do speak in actual sentences." He said with a smirk.

"This isn't a joke sir! You are accusing not only my commanding officer but my friend of being a traitor! I know he is stubborn and can be a idiot but he is no traitor and if he was he would of told me about having second thoughts about-"

I cut myself off as reality hit me and I realized that Kallus had made mentions of leaving the Empire.

"He's Fulcrum." I said in shock.

"What has changed your mind?" He asked as he looked at me.

"When he returned from one of his missions he... he talked about how he wondered if he had chosen the right side.... I thought nothing of it... until... he is the only one who could of given them that information." I said softly.

"Yes, He is. Oh and I will be taking you to dinner tomorrow, don't be late." He said with a smile.

"Wait what?"

"I am asking you out." He said calmly.

"Oh... um... I... I..."

He let out a chuckle and leaned down and kissed my cheek.

"You are to cute for your own good." He said as he turned and walked away.

A week later

"Mitth'raw'nuruodo! Thrawn! Whatever the hell you are called! I thought we talked about you beating Kallus up!" I snapped as I walked into his office.

He looked up at me and my eyes went wide as I saw a small purple bruise on his face. I quickly rushed up to him and looked his face over.

"You actually pronounced my name somewhat right." He said as I looked him over.

"I'll kill him. I'll break every bone in his body and I'll-"

I was cut off by him pulling me onto his lap and connection our lips together. I let out a sigh and gently kissed him back.

"I was wrong.... you are so much cuter when you threaten people's life for me." He said against my lips.

I felt a blush spread on my cheeks and I hid my face in his neck as he let out a chuckle.
