64. "If you steal the blankets one more time-" "You'll what?" "I'll put my cold feet on your back."

I hated him, down right hated him and yet I also was hopelessly in love with the idiot. I had met Captain Rex of the 501st when I had joined the republic. I was a pilot and the republic offered a lot of money for me to fly their ships and of course I was placed under General Anakin Skywalker.

"(Y/n) I hope you don't mind but you and Rex are going to be rooming, non of the boys seem to want to room with him." Anakin said calmly.

"Just my luck." I groaned out.

He sent me a smile and patted my back. I turned and went to my room to see that there was only one bed, which wasn't much of a problem seeing as I was use to sharing beds with people, having to share one bed with my whole family.

"Great, I'm stuck with the Devil." A voice grumbled.

"That's Lady Devil to you Captain." I said with a smirk as I turned to look at him.

"Just stay on your side of the bed." He ordered.

"Sir yes sir!" I said as I playfully saluted him.

We both climbed into the bed and I soon learned why no one wanted to share a room with him. Captain Rex is a blanket hog and the worse one I've ever met. The small blanket we both where suppose to share was barely covering me, Rex on the other hand was wrapped in a warm blanket burrito.

"If you steal the blankets one more time-"

"You'll what?" He asked cutting me off with a smirk.

I glared at him and tried to think of a comeback and after a few seconds I felt a smirk appear on my face.

"I'll put my cold feet on your back." I said calmly.

"Don't you dare."

"Then give me some of that cover." I growled out.

"No."

"Fine then you leave me no choice!" I snapped.

I crawled into the blanket and wrapped my arms around his chest. He froze up and I smiled in victory.

"What are you doing?" He asked shocked.

"I'm not freezing and since you seem to not want to share, I'll have to use you as body heat." I said happily.

I saw a blush appear on his face and smiled as he unwrapped himself and handed me a bit of cover. I went to pull away but he grabbed me and stopped me.

"Um... could you... I..."

"Have you never snuggled with anyone before?" I asked playfully.

He looked away and I smiled as I snuggled deeper into his chest. He gently wrapped his arms around me and I smiled as I hid my face in his chest. The next morning I woke up snugging Rex. I pulled my head away and looked up to see Rex watching me.

"What?" I asked softly.

"You're beautiful." He said softly.

I felt a blush appear on my face and I went to pull away but was stopped by him pulling me closer. I looked back up and saw him let out a shaky breath. His eyes looked at my lips and then at my eyes, silently asking for permission. I nodded my head and he gently leaned down and pressed his lips gently against mine in a quick and simple kiss. I smiled as he pulled away.

"I love you." He said quickly.

His eyes went wide and he started to stutter.

"I.. I didn't... I um... tha....at's....not what I...."

I smiled as I leaned up and pecked his lips.

"I love you too." I said before I snuggled back into his chest.

He let out a sigh of relief and pulled me closer to him. He kissed my forehead and we both fell asleep.

Bonus

"Pay up Snips." Anakin said as they watched us from the window.

"Cheater! You roomed them together on purpose!" Ahsoka snapped.

"Had to give them a push in the right way. Now pay up."

She let out a grumble and handed him a few coins before turning and walking away.

Pulls out Rex's birth certificate.

"Wait.... is that a adoption papers behind that with both yours and Plo Koon's names behidn it?" I asked as I looked at the paper.

She quickly shoved the paper in her shirt.

"No." She said calmly.

"I fucking knew it!" I yelled as she ran off.

"Wait! Come back and adopt me!" I yelled after her.
