I let out a laugh as I listened to Anakin talk about how he met Obi-wan.

"Okay there is no way you did that." I said with a laugh.

"I totally did."

"How? You were like 9, how did you destroy a whole control ship?" I asked shocked.

"I'm just that good." He said with a laugh.

I shook my head and smiled as he continued to tell me about more of his missions.

"Sir you are needed on bridge." A voice said.

I turned my head and smiled as I saw my best friend, Jesse, standing with his helmet off.

"Alright, we will finish this discussion later, (Y/n)." Anakin said as he walked away.

Jesse went to leave but I grabbed his hand.

"Where do you think you are going? Don't I get my Jesse hug?" I asked with a smile.

"I have work to do." He said as he turned to leave.

"Hold on, mister. I am not allowing you to leave until you hug me."

"Why don't you ask General Skywalker to hug you?" He grumbled out.

"What?" I asked with a a frown.

"I said go ask Skywalker for a hug." He said as he looked away from me.

"Hey what's bothering you?" I asked as I made him look at me.

"Nothing! Why do you even care?" He asked with a growl.

"You're my best friend, of course I care."

"What if I don't want to be your friend!" He snapped.

I looked at him shocked and backed away. He looked away and shook his head.

"Just forget about it." He said as he turned and walked away.

"He doesn't want to be my friend." I whispered as I felt a tear stream down my face.

I quickly whipped it away and turned and walked to my work station. I finished the last repaid on Anakin's ship and then I let out a sigh.

"You alright (Y/n)?" A voice asked.

I smiled as I turned to see Hardcase and Fives walking up to me.

"Not really... I don't think me and Jesse are friends anymore." I said softly.

"What? That's not possible. You and him are like two peas in a pod." Hardcase said as he looked at me shocked.

"He said he didn't want to be my friend anymore." I said softly.

"He is probably just having a bad day. I'll go talk to him." Fives said as he sent me a smile.

He turned and walked away leaving me alone with the ship's.

Jesse's POV

I knew I shouldn't of yelled at her, but I couldn't help it. Seeing her laughing and talking wit the General just made me so mad. I knew I shouldn't of acted the way I had, but she should be only laughing at my stories and smiling at me.

"Hey Jesse! Got a moment?" Fives asked as he walked up to me.

"Sure." I grumbled out.

"You are in a bad mood. Why does (Y/n) think you and her aren't friends anymore?"

"Maybe because I said I didn't want to be her friend." I said as I scratched the back of my head.

He sent me a look and I let out a groan.

"When I said it I meant that I wanted more... but I was so mad that I didn't finish my thoughts." I explained.

"You might want to talk to her, cause.. well she looked like she was close to tears." Fives said as he turned and walked away.

Force please don't let Rex learn I made (Y/n) sad.

Reader's POV

I had finally finished up and was getting ready to go to bed, when Rex walked into the hanger. I sent him a smile and waved to him.

"Hardcase said you weren't having a good day." He said as he walked up to me.

"It's nothing." I said as I let out a sigh.

He sent me a look and I let out a groan.

"Jesse is mad at me and doesn't want to be my friend anymore, and I have no idea why. Did I do something wrong?" I asked as I felt tears stream down my face.

"Come here. You did nothing wrong. Jesse is probably in a mood. What were you doing when he got mad?" He asked as he hugged me.

"I was talking with Skywalker and laughing." I said softly.

"That idiot. (Y/n), Jesse was jealous." He said with a laugh.

"He was? Why?"

"Because he probably thinks you like Skywalker." He said as he shook his head.

I frowned and then saw Jesse come into the hanger. Rex sent me a smile and then turned and went up to Jesse. He said something to him before leaving. Jesse let out a sigh and then looked over at me. I wanted to wave at him but kept my hands at my side and looked at the ground as he walked towards me.

"(Y/n), I'm sorry about earlier I was-"

"Jealous?" I finished for him.

He nodded his head and let out a sigh.

"I don't want to be your friend, that much I meant."

"Oh."

"I'm in love with you, and I know you probably only want to be my friend and I am-"

I quickly cut him off by leaning up and kissing him. He froze for a second before closing his eyes and gently kissing me back. I smiled as I pulled away and looked up at him.

"I love you too, you big idiot." I said softly.

I watched as a smile appeared on his face before he quickly leaned down and pulled me into another kiss.
