"I still don't see why I can't meet them!" I snapped as I glared at my boyfriend.

"You just can't, can we drop the subject?" Hunter growled out.

"No! I want to know why I can't meet your brothers! Hunter we have been together for two years! Are you ashamed of me! Do you not trust me around them! What is it?"

"(Y/n), please just drop it. I have a mission and can't deal with your whining." He said as he rubbed his forehead.

"Fine you want me to drop it! I'll drop it! I'll drop us! We are through." I said as I turned and walked away from him.

That was two weeks ago and I still couldn't believe I had ended it. Being honest I shouldn't of been so mad about not being able to meet his team, The Bad Batch, but I couldn't help it. If I had a family I would want him to meet them, but I don't have one, and the only family I sort of have doesn't even live in Coruscant.

"Hey (Y/n), think you can take a look at my gun?" A voice asked.

I looked up to see Captain Rex and sent him a smile.

"Of course, Rex." I said softly.

I looked it over and after fixing it I gave it back to him.

"So we are goin on a mission and could use your help, think you can tag along?"

"What's in it for me?" I asked playfully.

"You get to help hack into the Separatists ship." He said with a chuckle.

"Should of led with that big guy." I said as I patted his shoulder.

I followed him to a ship and held my breath when I saw Hunter. His eyes went wide for a split second upon seeing me, but they quickly went back to normal.

"Techwiz!" A voice exclaimed.

I let out a laugh and shook my head as I saw Echo walking up to me.

"Do I know you?" I asked playfully.

"I'm hurt! Here I thought we had something." He said with a laugh as he hugged me.

"Good to have you back."

"Good to be back." He said softly.

We climbed onto the ship and I stood beside Rex and General Skywalker.

"So I have to ask.... you're not a clone, so why are you here?" Tech asked softly.

"I was wonderin the same thing." Crosshair said as he looked me over.

"(Y/n) is here because she is probably smarter then all of you on this ship. She single handedly took out one of Dooku's ship in just what... twenty minutes?" Skywalker asked calmly.

"Fifteen." I said softly.

"She also can help us if I can't finish my job." Echo said softly.

I sent him a smile and listened to the plan. We soon made it to the main ship and I was given my orders.

"(Y/n), I want you to go to another spot and keep them off our trails." Skywalker ordered.

"Wreaker go with her." Hunter ordered.

"Got it." Wreaker said as we took off down the hallway.

We made it to the station and I quickly hacked in and started to jam their sensors.

"We got clankers!" Wreaker yelled.

"Take them out, I need bout five more minutes to be done." I said sternly.

I finished up and turned to see Wreaker and destroyed all of them.

"Good job." I said as I put down a grenade.

"Oh we getting to blow stuff up?" He asked with a smirk.

"If Skywalker gives the signal." I said as we ran through the hallways.

We made it back to the team in time to see them in a fight. I pulled out my gun and shot through five of them before Wreaker ran and took them out.

"Nice." I said with a smile.

"Let's go." Hunter ordered.

"What happen to Echo?" I asked as I helped Rex carry him.

"You didn't do your job." Tech said sternly.

I sent him a glare and helped get Echo back to the ship. I soon saw a group of droids and let out a groan.

"Seriously! We just can't get a break." I groaned out.

"I got this." Crosshair said as he pulled his sniper out.

I watched as he took them all out and I smiled as I helped carry Echo onto the ship and we took off. I pulled out the detonator and handed it to Wreaker.

"I love you." He said as he pushed the button.

I heard the explosion and let out a sigh.

"You alright?" A voice asked.

I looked over at Rex and sent him a smile.

"I'm fine." I said softly.

"You sure? You seem like you're deep in thought." He said softly.

"I'm sure."

"Doesn't seem that way. By my calculations you should of already got the Separatists on your signal, not ours." Tech said with a frown.

"He is right.... is something bothering you?" Skywalker asked calmly.

"I.. recently broke up with a guy I've been with for nearly two years.... and it's weird... to not be with him." I said as I let out a sigh.

"I see, so you are emotionally compromised."

"No! I'm just... not... all here.... yes I'm emotionally compromised." I said as I let out a groan.

"Why did you break up?" Echo asked softly.

"Stupid reason.... he wouldn't let me meet his brothers and I got mad and ended it." I said as I plopped down in a chair.

"Why? I mean you're not one to really get mad at stuff like that." Rex said calmly.

"There's more to this isn't there." Skywalker said softly.

"I don't have a family.... mine abandoned me a long time ago... and to me family is the most important thing ever and I would never hide anything from them... so I guess the fact that he didn't want me to meet his family.... I guess it made me feel like I didn't mean as much to him as he does to me." I said as I let out a sigh.

"Maybe his family is full of idiots. I wouldn't want my girl to meet my family then." Crosshair said calmly.

"After being with her for two years and telling her everything bout them? I already know about them it's just... meeting them." I said as I let out a sigh.

"Have you talked to him bout it?" Rex asked calmly.

"Only to hear him say to leave it alone."

"Maybe he is scared that she will like his brothers more then him." A voice said calmly.

I looked up at Hunter and heard him clear his throat after our eyes met.

"Seriously? Are there people that stupid?" Wreaker asked with a laugh.

"Well if he thought that he is a idiot, cause his brothers... and I mean this in the kindest way..... are morons." I said with a laugh.

"That we can agree on." Hunter said with a chuckle.

I shook my head and smiled softly.

"I am not a idiot, now Wreaker... debatable." Tech said angrily.

"Wait what?" Wreaker asked with a frown.

"You pick up on it too?" Crosshair asked Tech.

"Please I picked up on it the moment his eyes landed on her." Tech said as he rolled his eyes.

"Okay for the people who are confused... what?" Wreaker asked with a frown.

"They are dating you idiot, even a blind man could of realized that." Crosshair said as he shook his head.

"Wait that's why you sent me with her?"

"Rather you get shot at then her." Hunter said with a chuckle.

I smiled as I shook my head. We soon landed and I left to get some rest. I heard a knock on my door and opened the door to see Hunter. I sent him a gentle smile and he gently pushed me inside and kissed me before shutting the door.

"I love you.... I want you to always remember that." He whispered against my lips.

"I love you too." I said as I pulled him into another kiss.
