I let out a sigh as I waited for the boys to get back from their mission. I was a nurse in the republic and because of this I worked closely with the clones, and even started to care dearly for them.

When I heard about the mission Umbara and how the General Krell had turned on the clones, my heart broke for them and all I wanted to do was hug every last one of them. But mostly all I wanted to do was see my secret husband.

I had met Hardcase a few years ago and instantly fell for him, within a year we were married. No one knew about us, and we had kept it a secret for a long time. There was a few who thought that we were a little close, but no one had put it together.

I soon saw Fives and Jesse come in with Kix and I held my breath.

"We're is Hardcase?" I asked softly.

"He's gone." Jesse said as he looked at the ground.

I let out a sigh and looked at my gloves hands.

"How?" I asked softly.

"He died doing what he loved." Fives said softly.

"Let me guess, fighting." I said softly.

"No being a idiot." Jesse said with a smile.

"Quiet telling everyone I'm dead!" A voice snapped.

I let out a sigh of relief as I saw Hardcase walk in with a frown on his face. Upon seeing me he sent me a small smile.

"Sorry they worried you-"

He was cut off by me tackling him in a hug. He let out a groan and caught me. He gently hugged me back and smiled softly.

"Why does he get a hug?" Jesse asked with a frown.

"Cause he is her husband idiot." Kix said as he walked to his station.

I turned to look at him with my eyes wide.

"How long have you known?" I asked shocked.

"Hardcase told me once when he was drunk." Kix said with a smile.

"Wait you got married?" Fives asked shocked.

"Yes, please don't-"

"Why wasn't I invited to the wedding! I should of been best man." Fives said with a frown.

I let out a laugh and shook my head.

"Cause you told my girl I was dead." Hardcase said with a small smile.

"No... that was Jesse." Fives said as he scratched the back of his head.

I let out a laugh and shook my head before leaning up and gently kissing Hardcase's cheek.

"When are you off?" Hardcase asked as he wrapped his arm tightly around my waist.

"She can leave now, I can finish up here for her." Kix said softly.

"Thanks, you are the best." I said right before Hardcase dragged me away.

We made it to my quarters and he pushed me inside and shut the door. I wrapped my arms around his neck and he let out a sigh.

"I love you." I whispered.

"I love you too." He said as he hugged me tightly.

I felt something wet on my shoulder and pulled away to see tears in Hardcase's eyes. I gently whipped them away and he leaned into my touch.

"I... I killed my brothers... he made us.." His voice broke and I pulled him against my chest.

"Shh... it's not your fault. It isn't your fault." I whispered as I held him tightly.

He let out a sob and I held him tightly against me.
