Sorry it's taking so long to post more. My cousin just found out she is pregnant and she needs help renovating her house. So it will be sometime before I can post more.

I ran through the facility and looked for my squad. I cut through some droids and rushed to their last known location. I let out a sigh of relief when I saw them fighting with my close friend.

"Anakin did you miss me?" I asked as I landed beside Anakin.

"You know we always miss you (N/n)." Anakin said with a laugh as he cut a droid down.

I rolled my eyes and quickly finished the fight. I let out a sigh of relief as I leaned back against the wall. I soon saw my friend Fives walk up to me and I waved to him.

"Let's move!" Anakin ordered.

We soon escaped the facility and blew it up. I let out a sigh of relief as I was able to rest.

"Um, do you need a Doctor?" Jesse asked as he looked at me.

I looked down at my leg and saw that it had a big gash a crossed it.

"I'll go find Kix." I said as I limped away.

I soon saw Fives sitting beside Kix and I smiled softly as I walked up to them.

"Got a bit of a big cut on my leg this time, you got a medkit?" I asked looked at Kix.

"I've got something better, a medkix." Fives said with a smirk as Kix rolled his eyes and pulled out a medkit.

"Fives, (Y/n) is bleeding there's no time for puns-"

"I bet he kix ass." I said with a laugh as I cut him off.

"Please just sit down." Kix said as he let out a sigh.

I let out another laugh as he patched me up. After he as finished I heard footsteps outside and turned my head towards the tent door.

"We have another mission." Rex said as he walked into the tent.

"We do?" I asked with a frown.

"Yea, we have a rescue mission." He said softly.

"Who are we rescuing?" Fives asked as he crossed his arms over his chest.

"I'll tell you later." He said calmly.

"What I don't get to know?" I asked playfully.

Rex turned and left without meeting my eyes.

I had joined the republic at a young age and became a pilot. Since I had joined I had become extremely close with the clone, even falling in love and secretly marrying one. His name had been Echo and he died fighting.

Rex and he had been close, as had Fives. After Echo's death Rex blamed himself. No one ever brought it up, and I was fine with that. I didn't want to remember that I was a widower... and I definitely didn't want to know how the love of my life was killed.

We soon landed on a planet with a group of clones that I had never met. I was forced to stay on the ship while they went in search for this mystery person. I set in my chair and let out a sigh as I looked at the old picture of Echo and me.

"We are on our way back." Rex said through his com.

"You find that mystery person?" I asked with a frown.

"Yea, is Fives still on the ship?"

"No he went to survey the area. He seems a little jumpy, do we know this guy or something?"

"You could say that." He said before he hung up.

I let out a sigh and shook my head. It wasn't long before I decided to leave the ship and walk around.

"So Rex tell you who it was?" I asked looking at Fives.

"Yea, but... Rex could be wrong." Fives said softly.

"He said he found the guy. Do I know him?" I asked with a frown.

"You could say we both know him really well." He said as he crossed his arms over his chest.

I let out a sigh and shook my head as I waited for them. They soon returned and I waved to Rex. I stopped waving as soon as my eyes landed on the person behind him. My heart stopped and I couldn't breath as I met his eyes.

"Echo?" I asked in a whisper.

"Hey, it's my baby momma... well not baby momma cause we don't have a kid yet, more like it's my baby-"

I quickly pushed past the clones and threw myself into his arms, cutting off his sentence. He caught me with a grunt and I cried into his chest.

"Sorry I missed dinner." He said with a chuckle.

I pulled away from him and gently cuffed his face. I pressed kisses all over his face and he let out a laugh. I pulled away and smiled as I met his eyes.

"If you ever leave me like that again, I swear to whatever power is out there I will never forgive you." I said before I pulled him into a deep and passionate kiss.

He let out a sigh and wrapped his arms tightly around my waist. He gently kissed me back before pulling away and pressing his forehead against mine.

"I love you." He whispered as he sent me a smile.

"I love you more." I said before I pulled him into another kiss.

He let out a sigh and after awhile pulled away. I smiled as he let go of me and turned to see Fives, who had tears steaming down his face.

"My brother." Echo said with a smile.

"Come here you idiot." Fives said as he hugged him.

I smiled and shook my head. I then turned to look at Rex and felt anger grow inside of me.

"Rex.... you knew my husband was alive?" I asked as I glared at him.

"I didn't want to get your hopes up!" He exclaimed as he backed away.

"You should of told me that there was a chance he was alive! I had a right to know! I had a right to help!"

"Sweetheart, calm down." Echo said as he wrapped his hand around my waist.

"You're right. We need to get you home and get you looked at. You also should get a break because of damage or something... I don't know but I'm not allowing yo to leave my sight." I said as I hugged him.

"Wasn't planing on it sweetheart." He said as he kissed my forehead.
