I let out a laugh as Echo tickled my sides.

"Stop it!" I helped out.

"Never!"

He finally stopped and I let gasped for air.

"I love you." He said softly.

"I love food." I said playfully.

He rolled his eyes and I smiled as he kissed my cheek before standing up and grabbing his blaster.

"I'll be back before you know it." He said softly.

"I love you." I said as I pecked his lips.

"Love you more." He said softly.

"Not possible."

He sent me a smile and kissed me once more before walking towards the door. I watched him leave and let out a sigh as I wrapped my arms around my waist and tried to shake the bad feeling.

Time skip

It had been nearly two years since Echo had died, and I still felt like he was alive, and calling for me to find him. Whenever I got the call from Rex that he thought Echo was alive, I made my way to him and joined him in his search. I climbed onto the ship and saw the bad batch send me a look.

"Whose this?" One of them asked as they looked me over.

"Echo's wife." Rex said softly.

"Good to see you again (Y/n)." Master Skywalker said softly.

"You as well General." I said softly.

I set down beside Rex and held my breath as we took off. We soon made it inside the tower and looked for Echo. I watched as Rex ran inside with Tech while I helped them hold off the droids. After we had taken them all out I turned and ran into the room. I could feel my heart pounding and could feel my nerves running wild. I stopped as soon as I made it in and saw Rex on the ground talking to someone. Rex turned to look at me and sent me a gentle smile. I slowly walked up to him and felt tears stream down my face as I saw Echo. He looked up at me and I saw a smile appear on his face.

"(Y/n)." He whispered as he moved his hand to my face.

"I'm here babe, I'm here." I whispered as I wrapped my arms around his neck and hugged him.

He let out a sigh and gently ran his fingers through my hair.

"I thought I'd never see you again." He whispered as he held me tightly.

"You should know by now.... I'm way to stubborn to let you go. This marriage doesn't end until we are both dead." I said with a smile.

He let out a chuckle and gently touched my cheek.

"I love you." He said softly.

"I love you more." I said as I leaned forward and kissed him.

"Not possible." He whispered against my lips.

"I'll let you have this one." I said with a laugh.
