"Listen I'm giving you a chance to let me go." I said softly.

"You have a bounty of a million credits on you, think I'm letting you go?" The hunter asked with a laugh.

"Well if you don't want my friend to kill you, you will." I said with a smile.

He let out another laugh and I leaned against the wall.

"Okay but I warned you." I said as I shrugged my shoulders.

I soon heard something land on the ship and I smiled.

"What was that?" He asked with a frown.

"My friend."

He pulled his blaster out and ordered one of his guys to go check it out.

"I wouldn't do that! Or do, what do I care." I said as the guy disappeared.

I heard fighting and then a blaster go off. The hunter rushed to my side and put hit blaster to the side of my head. I smiled as I saw Cad Bane walk into the compartment.

"Bane? This is my bounty go find your own!" The bounty hunter exclaimed.

"Let her go, and you don't die, a horrible death." Cad said calmly.

"You take a step towards me and I kill her."

Cad stopped and looked at me. I sent him a smile and he let out a sigh.

"Fine, have it your way." He said as he pulled his whip out and took his gun from him.

The bounty hunter let out a gasp and then pulled out a knife and went to stab me. I moved to the side and let out a gasp as the knife cut across from my chest. I fell to the ground and Cad pulled his blaster out and shot the bounty hunter dead. He quickly rushed to my side and picked me up.

"I got you." He said softly.

I felt my eyes grow heavy and I passed out. When I woke up I was on a soft bed and had a bandage around my waist.

"How do you feel?" Cad Bane asked softly.

"Sore, did you take my shirt off?" I asked with a frown.

"Not like I haven't seen you without one before."

I covered myself with the blanket and glared at him.

"You've seen me in a swimsuit, not my underwear."

"Same thing."

"No it isn't-"

I was cut off by him sitting on the bed and unwrapping my bandage.

"What are you-"

"Making sure you don't get your wound infected. It's healing nicely... next time you want to go out, I'm coming with you."

"I don't need you saving me."

"Until I find who put a bounty on you, you are staying in my line of sight."

"I could of got out of that trap by myself."

"Then why didn't you?" He asked with a frown.

I looked at the ground and he shook his head.

"Stay with me until the bounty is off your head." He said softly.

"Fine, but only cause your bed is soft."

He let out a chuckle and stood up. A week passed and he still hadn't found it who had placed a bounty on me, and it was starting to become annoying.

"I'm going out, stay here." He ordered.

"Yes sir." I said as I playfully saluted him.

I waited for him to leave and then I snuck out and went to the bounty board.

"Rico, need a favor." I said as I sent him a smile.

"Sure thing, (Y/n)."

"Who put the bounty on me?"

"I can't say."

"Rico....."

"Fine, it was Bane."

"Cad Bane? Why?"

"Don't know, but he came in and out it up."

I frowned as I stood up and left the bar. I waited for Bane to return and when he did I sent him a smile.

"Any luck?"

"Non."

"Well I had some luck. Talked to Rico, he told me you put the bounty up... want to tell me why?" I asked as I crossed my arms over my chest.

"Well... He must be lyin."

"Bane, Truth now. I'm tired of you lying to me. Aren't I your friend?"

"Yes."

"Then why put a bounty on me?"

"Because I wanted you here, with me."

"Why not just ask me to room with you?"

"Cause Maybe I bought if I put a bounty on you, you would see me as your shining knight in armor." He said as he looked at the ground.

"You are anything but a knight.... you are more like a dirty cowboy, which just do you know.... I'd have over a knight any day." I said as I sent him a smile.

A small smile appeared on his face and I leaned up and gently kissed him.

"So now that we got that all cleared up, take off the bounty Romeo." I said with a laugh.

"Don't know, I might keep it on... gives me a reason to be your... cowboy." He said with a smirk.

"Take it off, or I put a bounty of two million on you." I said sweetly.

He rolled his eyes and I smiled as I leaned up and pecked his lips again.
