So I was just listening to History Maker from the anime, Yuri On Ice (don't judge me please ;-;) and though "...I need to do a ice skating chapter".
And thus, here it is. Also, this is a young Kanan and Hera chapter in the modern day...because otp. They are both 15 in this.

It was winter and Caleb was on his way to the ice skating rink that he gose to sometimes. This time he was going alone and not with his friend's because he didn't really want anyone to know where he was.

Recently, Caleb's guardian, Depa Belaba was in hospital after a car crash.
Since no one eles was home, Caleb decided to go to the ice skating rink. He went there if something was troubaling him.

Right now, it was nearly night time so Caleb walked fast to get to the rink befor it closed. He spotted the building and walked up the steps to the front entrance and opened the door.

Caleb walked inside and noticed that it seemed like no one was there. "Maybe it's already closed" Caleb thought and was about to exit the building. "Oh hey. What are you doing here. It's really late and nearly time for closing". Caleb turned around to see a girl at the counter.

"Oh em I was wondering if I could skate inside for a few minutes If thats okay" Caleb asked the girl. "Sure thing. I was just ice skating myself there a few minutes ago. Are you good at skating?" The girl asked.

"No not really. If anything I suck at it. I always fell every time I get on the ice. I'm here just to practice that's all" Caleb chuckled. The girl did the same. "Well I'm Hera. Hera Syndula. My mother actually owns this place and I am aloud to stay here for a lot longer" the girl, now know as Hera explained.

"That's cool. I'm Caleb. Caleb Dume" Caleb explained as they shook hands. "Well let's get on the ice shall we" Hera said as she put her skates on, handing Caleb a pair to who also put them on.

They walked to the ice skating rink and instantly Hera was on and skating like an exspert. Caleb on the other hand, was holding on to the barrier for dear life. "Come on Caleb, you can't hold on to the barrier forever. You need to start skating" Hera told him.

"Well if I try to skate, I end up looking like a baby giraffe learning to rolaskate pass a busy highway" Caleb complained, making Hera laugh. "Come on. I'll teach you how to skate" Hera offered.

Caleb gave her a look of fear and worrie. "But what if I fall?" Caleb asked the girl. "Then I guess I'll help you up and continue" Hera told him as she held out a hand for him to grab.

Caleb staried at her hand for a few momonts before grabing it and letting his other hand let go of the barrier. Hera uesed her other hand to grab Caleb's other hand to help him better and she started skating backwards.

"See it's easy" Hera told him. "For you it is. Your a exspert" Caleb told her. "Not really. I dont know how to do spins and jump into the air. That's a exspert" Hera explained.

"Okay so how exsactly do I skate?" Caleb asked the girl infront of him. "Okay first just glid one foot infront of each other. Got that" Hera told him.
Caleb gave a unconvinced nod and did as Hera instructed.

"See that's it. Just keep doing that" Hera told him with a smile on her face. Caleb returned the smile. "Okay I think I got it. So how do I stop?" Caleb asked.

"Well most beginner's just run into the barrier which is dangerous so you should stop like this, but I have to let go of you if I have to show you. Will you be okay with that" Hera asked him, unsure what his reaction would be.

Caleb gave a fearfull look befor just nodding. "Alright. I think I can stay up by myself for a few momonts" Caleb told her with a smile. "Okay. Letting go now" Hera told him as she did so.

At first Caleb looked like he was about to fall but was able to catch his balance. "There you go. You look like you have always knew how to skate" Hera encouraged him, making him feel more confident. "Thanks. So how do I stop?" Caleb asked her.

"Like this" Hera told him as she swerved to the side and stopped herself. "You try" she instructed. Caleb nodded and did the exsact same thing, but tripped over himself and fell to the icy ground.

"Are you okay?" Hera asked him. Caleb only laughed. "Yeah I'm fine. I guess that's another way to stop" he laughed as Hera helped him up, also laughing. "I guess so. Let's work on your stopping" Hera told him as she started skating, Caleb following close behind.

They skated for around an other half hour or so. When they were, they laughed and joked around alot. Falling over and making mistakes. At one point, Caleb ran into the barrier when he failed to stop, making Hera laugh.

They decided to call it quites and got off the ice and got ready to go home. "That was the most fun I have had in a while" Caleb told Hera as she grabbed a backpack. "Yeah I had fun to. I haven't had that much with someone on the ice ever" Hera replied.

They opened the entrance doors and walked out. Hera closed the door and locked it. "So where do you live?" Hera asked. "Across the river close to Joe's bar" Caleb told her as he pointed at the river, which was right next to the ice skating rink.

"Same here. Only I live close to the police station. My father works there. So we are pretty close to each other" Hera explained. "Yeah. Maybe we could go ice skating again" Caleb suggested.

"That would be nice. I never skate with anyone because I have no friend's. No one likes to ice skate with me" Hera told Caleb saddly as they walked down the steps and started walking across the icy bridge.

"A do have friends. Well i don't know if they are even my friends. They always pull pranks on me and get me I to the trouble" Caleb explained to Hera. "Well then don't hang out with them. Don't be with people who don't make you happy and always get you into trouble" Hera told him.

"That's some good advice. Your right. They aren't good people at all. I'll stop hanging out with them" Caleb told her. "Good. How about we become friend's?" Hera suggested, suprising Caleb. "Really?" Caleb asked, not sure if she was joking.

"Why not. We don't have friend's and we get along well. How about it?" Hera asked him. Caleb looked at her and smiled. "Sure. It would be nice to have a good friend" Caleb replied as they shook hands.

"That cool. Oh wait do you have a pen?" Hera asked the boy. "Yeah here" Caleb replied as he reached into his pocket and pulled out a pen and handed it to Hera. Hera grabbed it and then Caleb's hand and write something down.

"If you ever want to go I've skating again, just call" Hera told him as she gave back the pen and ran futher down the bridge. Caleb was quiet confused.

He looked down at his hand, only to see a phone number. "Omg. She gave me her phone number" Caleb though with exsitment in his mind. He couldn't help but blush.
