Kanan's pov

"Ezra?" I say. "Kanan......"
"Ezra!!! Thank the force your alright. Where are you?" I ask. "I.....I don't know." "Don't worry we will find you." I say. "Kanan he found me!!!" "What? Who found you?" I ask getting worried. "Alex!!! I ran away from him but he found me!!!!"

"Ezra run don't le-" That's when I hear a huge bang and Ezra screaming. "Ezra?" I say. No answer. The line got cut off. I smack the phone down in frustration. Ezra's in trouble and I can't do anything about it. "You ok?" I jump from the voice behind me.

I then calm down seeing that it was just Rex. "Is everything alright?" Rex asks. "Hmmm let's see, my padawan got kidnapped and we don't know where he is......yeah everything is fine!" I say sarcastically with an angry tone. He just looks at me. "I know this is hard for you but getting mad at me isn't going to solve anything." He says.

"What do you suggest then Captain?" I ask him. "I suggest that you tell me about the phone call from Ezra." He says. How did he........"How did you know that?" I ask him. "I guess Ezra isn't the only one that ease drops." He jokes. I wanted to laugh, but I couldn't.

How did he know Ezra ease drops on us? Oh probably he found out when his buddies took him. "Ezra didn't really give me any information. He just said how Alex found him after he tried to run away from him." I say. "Well do you know how he was able to contact you?" He asks me.

I was going to answer but then I stopped myself. If that was the broken phone that Ezra told me about then....I got it!!!! "Since he was able to contact me on the broken phone, then he must be where those spirits are." I say. "Maybe there was a way they made a portal here."

Rex doesn't believe it at first, but soon he comes to realize that there is no other explanation for all of this. "We  should find the portal. But how do we find it?" He asks me. "Well this is where all the craziness started so it has to be here." I say gesturing to the common room.

He nods in agreement. That's when we both see through the window a light. The sun has fully risen and it is now morning. Wow I must've stayed up longer than I expected. Rex takes notice of me looking like a zombie. "Did you sleep at all?" He asks me.

"No I couldn't." I say. "You should sleep, you need to have your energy when we find Ezra." He says. "We will continue the search for the portal while you rest." I do feel a little tired. But I want to help with the search. I sigh and finally give in. "Ok just don't have too much fun." I joke and walk into my room.

Once I see my bed, my eyes become heavy and I could barely keep them open. Once I lay on my bed, I'm out like a light.

Rex's pov

I knew this was going to happen. I do blame Kanan a little for it, he should've known that was bait to leave Ezra alone. But I do get that he was worried about Hera.

When Kanan went to his room, I was left alone in the room that caused the disappearance of Ezra. He still didn't really tell me how to find the portal. How could anyone know how to find a portal?

I was going to wake up everyone else till they all come in at once looking wide awake, even Zeb and he is not a morning person. They all must really want to get Ezra back. "Where's Kanan?" Hera asks. "He's just getting some rest." I say. "We found out that Ezra was taken through a portal somewhere in this room."

They all give me weird looks. "You sure Rex?" Sabine asks me. "85 percent sure." I say. "What about the other 15 percent?" Zeb asks. "The other 15 percent is still lost on what is happening." I say. "Well if there really is a portal here then we should start to look for it." Hera says.

We all nod in agreement and start to search for the hundredth time looking for something that might not be here. It was extremely hard because we didn't even know what a portal looked like. Hours pass by and we are all wasting our time searching and searching and searching.

It drives Zeb crazy, he is trying to hold himself together. He has done that for an hour until....."When are we going to find this stupid portal!!!" Zeb shouts and punches the wall creating a dent. We were all going to try and calm him down till the room started to shake.

It sends us all tumbling to the ground. As we are all holding onto the wall to keep our balance, the blinding light from before appears in the middle of the room. That must be the portal!!!! It only lasted a second until it disappears and the room stops shaking.

"Is everyone ok?" Hera immediately asks us. "Yeah." We all say at the same time. The shaking must've been so rough, Kanan barges in with extreme worry on his face. "What happened?" He asks. "I think the portal opened for a second." I say. "Where?" He asks. We all point in the middle of the room.

"Well now that we found it, what do we do now?" Zeb asks. "Now we have a lead on finding Ezra. We just need to find a way to keep the portal open so we could get him out of there." Kanan says. "And how do we do that?" Sabine asks. "I'll do it." Kanan says.

"How?" Hera asks him. "I'll use the force to open the portal." Kanan says. "That might work, but if you do then how do we let Ezra know?" I ask. "I could connect with him. I haven't tried that yet. I will instruct Ezra to the portal and tell him to go through." Kanan says.

"That sounds like a good idea." Sabine says. "Just hope we could get him in time." "We will Sabine." Hera says. That's when Kanan sits down on the floor and goes into his meditation. Sure hope this works.
