AN: this chapter will focus mainly on how the crew works with Ahsoka in action. There will also be some Ahsoka and Sabine friendly getting to know each other stuff

Hera's POV (In the Cockpit)
Last night Kanan and I discussed Ahsoka coming with us on the mission today. We agreed that bringing her on the mission will help her warm up to us, then maybe she'll start talking to everyone rather than just Ezra.

Kanan is convinced Ezra lied to him. He said that he thinks Ezra knows why Ahsoka won't speak to anyone. He also said he heard them talking in Ezra and Zeb's cabin. But when he confronted Ezra, Ezra said that he thinks Ahsoka is scared and not sure how to react to everybody. He didn't mention that Ahsoka talked to him.

Ahsoka's POV (Meditating in the Training room)
Ezra told me that the crew is taking me with them on mission. I kinda miss going on missions. I miss the Order, I miss Anakin, Obi-Wan, Padamé, Master Yoda. I heard that the Separatists wiped out all the Jedi. I was present when order 66 was executed, on a mission too. But apparently there are only two left: Kanan and I. I know Ezra is going to be a great Jedi one day.

Ezra just walked in, maybe they've changed their minds about the mission.

"Come on! Kanan's gonna brief us on the mission!" He yells hurriedly.

I guess they didn't change their minds. I wonder if they trust me and what their suspicions are about me.

I stop Ezra before he leaves the room, "Ezra, wait."

"What?" He turns around.

"Do you know where I'm from?" I ask, "To be honest, I'm not sure." He answers

"I'm from a planet called Shili, it's where Togruta's are from." I inform him

He shifts his gaze to the floor, something's not right, he's not telling me something.

"Ezra, what are you hiding?" I wait for an answer... nothing. "Do you know something about Shili?" Still no answer, but I can sense that he knows something about Shili or the Togruta species. But what!?

"You won't like it." he responds

"Tell me, I must know. If something happened, I must know."

"You won't like it." He repeats

"Ezraaaaa." I say in a low, warning tone.

He sighs, "Shili's gone.... and so is the rest of the Togruta species."

I freeze after he tells me what I wish I hadn't asked for. Why? Why did this happen? Is it because I wasn't there to protect them?

I feel like crying, but I know I can't, not in front of Ezra. Not after I forced him to tell me. I should've waited to ask until after the mission.

(In the Common room)
Kanan's POV
Ahsoka and Ezra, finally they're here. Niether of them look happy, and Ahsoka refuses make eye contact with anyone and she looks as if she's about to cry, but Ezra gives me his 'we need to talk later' look.

Suddenly I feel both of their emotions flow over me through the Force. It's so powerful, it makes me want to shed a tear. It also makes me wonder what happened between them. I'll mind that later. Now, it's mission briefing time.

"Alright gang, we're doing a simple mission here on Lothal. We're stealing a shipment of blasters that the Imperials are moving at the market place. Hera I need you and Chop in the ship so we'll be ready for a quick get away if needed. Ezra, Zeb; I want you two on the roofs, and wait for my signal before attacking."

Just then, Ezra shoots me a worried look. Then he starts talking to me through our bond in the Force.

Kanan, Ahsoka has to come with me! I'm the only one she'll speak to!

Ezra, it's alright I know what I'm doing. Ahsoka will get close with Sabine and hopefully start talking to her as well. I have a feeling you're not telling me everything anyhow.

Before he could respond, I continue explaining the plan.

"Ahsoka and Sabine, I need you two hiding in the alley right next to where they will be loading the crates onto the speeders."

"Can I bring my gear?" Sabine asks

"We're gonna need it."
I hear a slight "yes" under her breath.

After explaining the plan, Ahsoka's head shoots up as if she has snapped back to reality. She stares at me, I can feel her gaze locked onto my own. It feels like I can almost see her for a moment; A young, confused child that doesn't know what's going on with the world.

Ahsoka's POV
As Kanan explains the plan, I'm lost in thought. I wonder whether Vader has sent troopers looking for me. Maybe it wasn't a good idea to join them on this mission.

It's so depressing, the thought that my master is gone, no one to guide me, and the only person I can trust is a 15 year old kid that knows less than I do about the force and being a Jedi.

It finally hits me that.... I'm alone
I don't know what to do. What's gonna happen afte- Wait a minute! I'm not with Ezra!? This makes no sense, Ezra's the only one I trust. He's the only one I'll speak to! I shoot my gaze up to Kanan's and we lock. I feel as if he can read me. I'm probably just tired.

(In positions)
Sabine's POV
Ahsoka's with me, and to be honest I'm glad that there's another person out there who's on our side.

"Set that bomb there and on my count, roll this one by the speeders." I order, she nods and does so. She's good at taking orders, I like that.

"1...2..3...."

(BOOM)

I love the sound of explosions in the morning

I grab Ahsoka's hand and run, the bombs explode, and send us flying, we both fall face forward to the ground.

That's the closest I've ever been to one of my own explosions.

I set out a series of bombs and I'm about to press the detonator when I look up and see Ahsoka already standing; she's staring at something through the smoke.

I stand up and stare to try and see what she sees. I see a dark figure walking towards us, it's shorter than Zeb but taller than Kanan. I know Hera's on the ship. So who is that?

As the smoke clears Ahsoka ignites two green lightsabers.
HOLD ON! She has lightsabers!?

I thought only Kanan, Ezra, and that Inquisitor guy had them. And from what Kanan explained, the Inquisitor is gone.

The shadow figure emerges from the smoke. He's got a black cape, a black helmet that sounds like it filters his breathing and some kinda control function panel on his chest.

He ignites a red lightsaber. Kanan said that red lightsabers used to belong to siths.

They attack each other at the same time and start with a clash. I call the others over my comm as they battle.

"Spector 5 to Spectors 4 and 6,"

"Specta' 4 here, what's wrong?"

"Just get over here! And bring Kanan, hurry!"

"On our way! Spector four out,"

AN: Yay! Personal accomplishment: longest chapter ever! 1,145 words! Alright anyway chapter five done. I hope you like it, can't wait to see what Ahsoka does next. Will Vader catch Ahsoka? Or will the Ghost crew get to her in time? Till next chapter. -Photography14
