As Hera steered the ship to where the Wookies were being held, Kanan, Sebil, Zeb, and Era were waiting down below for the ramp to open up to let them begin their task of freeing the Wookies. While Kanan and Sebil were preparing their guns, Era and Zeb were waiting patiently for the signal with Era not bringing up what Zeb did to her that had gotten her caught by the Empire. "Try not to get dead," Zeb said making Era look at him with a glare as she pulled her grey cloth back over her head to match with her disguise dress on.

Kanan had insisted that it wasn't necessary, but Era responded that it made her feel comfortable in it and she can't do anything without it. "Don't want to have to carry your body out," Zeb continued with a smirk making Era return to reality and continue her glare at him before saying, "Then don't get in my way or my body won't be the only thing this crew will have to carry out."

Sebil let out a surprised chuckle from inside his mouth and quickly made his way to the front of the ramp, with Kanan following not far behind, while Zeb glared at the boy from behind his back. The ramp then opens to show the stormtroopers firing at the ship a few feet away from the crates, with the Wookies right behind them, and they all quickly ran off the ramp and took cover from behind the crates. Kanan then looked over at Era and secretly nodded his head to her giving her the signal she needed. Discretely nodding her head back in reply, she pulled up her scarf and concentrated on her 'instinct' before vanishing right before the trio's eyes, startling them for a bit before they got back into position and began firing back at the troopers to distract them long enough for Era to free the Wookies.

Era then appeared behind the Wookies causing most of them to jump and the leader to angrily growl at her. "Hey, hey, don't worry. I'm here to help," Era said softly to them pulling her hood and scarf down to show them that she's telling the truth.

Seeing that they were allowing her to be trusted, Era then concentrated very hard on her white energy ability and saw it light up a bit on her hand allowing her to manipulate the energy into unlocking the chief Wookie's handcuffs. Gasping in and out, she then concentrated very hard on the other Wookies until she felt lightheaded and stopped there. Placing her hands on her knees, she allowed her vision to clear up and saw that she freed all of the adult Wookies and they were joining in on the fight against the stormtroopers taking the last of them out. A young child Wookie came forward and moaned at her, making Era look at him with a soft smile and kneel down to its height before trying to concentrate once more on her ability.

She then sensed something coming from below and opened her eyes in fright before tackling the young Wookie child to the ground just in time to avoid a shot blasted at the spot previously occupied by her and the child. Groaning, Era helped the child up and looked to see him standing there. "Always the weakest out of us all child," he said while snarling at her and continuing, "I'm done living in your shadow."

"Krental, if you're in there. Please listen to me," Era begged to her old friend trying to reach out to him.

Krental just smirked from beneath his mask and said "Nice try," before pulling out his blaster and was about to shoot her before a shot was fired at his hand making him cry out in pain and lose his blaster. Era called the blaster to her and aimed it at him before saying "Thanks Sebil," and readied it to fire at her old friend.

Instead of being frightened, Krental simply smirked and took off his breather mask to show off him being a black haired, brown eyed, tan skinned, fifteen year old male with a black breather mask, black hood with a short black cape attached to his black armbands, with the Imperial insignia on both, all black clothing with black knee pads and shoulder pads, and black leather boots. "Do you really think you have the guts to kill me Era? Your old friend? You never had the guts to shoot the troopers that chased us almost to our doom and you never will. So nice tr...." Krental was about to finish all while explaining in a teasing tone before a shot sounded and he felt immense pain in his right shoulder.

"You were right Krental. I didn't have the guts to kill an Imperial Stormtrooper...... or you. But I do have the guts to beat you," Era said tossing the blaster aside and ran towards him before ducking underneath his right hook punch and twirling to the side before using her right foot to hook him right in the jaw and send him tumbling backwards to the ground unconscious.

She got out of her fighting stance and went over to the child to see if it sustained injuries as the Ties came out from below the station and began firing at the Ghost turning everyone's attention away from Era to the ship. The Ghost struck back and hit one of the Tie's causing it to go down but a bigger ship replaced it firing at the rebels on the ground causing them to quickly hit the floor to avoid the blasts. Era looked up to see that she had created a white energy shield around her and the Wookie kid without having to concentrate on creating one while Sebil looked at her in awestruck. Closing her opened, and white glowing, hands, the shield collapsed on itself and the energy went back into her body before disappearing completely.

Kallus then appeared on the ramp with the rest of the troopers, as their ship landed on the landing platform many feet away from them, and yelled, "Take them down!"

The troopers followed to his command and quickly began firing at the rebels, as they all got up, while the rebels and the Wookies ran for cover behind two different sets of crates that were farther away from the Imperials. It was then that Era realized, as she made her way towards the crates, that she didn't see the Wookie kid anywhere. She then heard moaning and saw a trooper firing at the chief Wookie while the Wookie kid was being chased away, far from its rescue, by another trooper. Delving deep into herself, Era used her instincts to make the blaster spark and heat up to a point where the trooper dropped it in pain before Zeb punched the trooper in the face, knocking him out.

"Nice one kid," Zeb said to Era, who had already ran over to where the Wookie chief was sitting up and kneeled down to his level.

Smiling at him, Era nodded her head in thanks before bringing up her right hand and making it glow a bit in whiteness before elegantly moving her fingers up and down over the Wookie chief's wound making it heal right before their very eyes. "He'll be okay but for now Zeb, you need to help him," Era reported after the glow died down on her hands.

Zeb nodded and quickly helped the Wookie chief up but the chief moaned and stretched his arm out for something making Era look to see nothing there. Confused, she shook her head to clear the hallucinations and quickly made her way over to where the crew was before jumping over the crates and quickly sat next to Kanan while taking out her guns to fire at the troopers. "I can't maintain position," Hera informed the crew over the comm.

"Go, lead the Tie's away and give yourself maneuvering room," Kanan ordered into his comm link.

"I'm not gonna leave you behind," Hera insisted over the comm making Era smile at the Twi'lek's loyalty to this crew as she fired at the troopers catching one of them in the shot.

"No, you're not. We're running 22-pickup," Kanan simply responded after catching a look at a crate a few feet behind them.

"Seriously?" Sebil asked seeming very shocked at that response but was met with a smart remark by Kanan saying, "Do you have a better option?"

"Jump out into the pit and get it overwith?" Zeb said out sarcastically confusing Era on what this mysterious code was about.

"Alright, I'll be back. Just be ready when I get there," Hera said over the commlink before it went down to indicate she was busy with the Tie's on her back.

"22-pickup, can someone let me in on the secret please?" Era said practically begging to not be left in the dark on this secret code.

"Kid, I'm about to let everyone in on the secret," Kanan responded before standing and walking over the crates towards the middle of the battle field, dodging fire while putting his blaster into its holder and pulling out two pieces of the device.

He put them together and twisted them to make sure they stayed together before igniting the device towards the troopers before pulling it around in a circle and got into a battle stance with it a few feet away from his face. Everyone looked at the Jedi in shock while Era stared at him in awe of who this person was. Sure she had heard about he Jedi back in the day but she had never seen one in person. Kanan glared at the troopers and prepared for battle while Kallus snapped out of his shock and ordered his troopers saying, "All troopers. Focus your fire on.... on the Jedi," spitting out the last word in disgust while the troopers obeyed his command firing at Kanan.

Kanan easily blocked the shots while the Wookies used the troopers blasters, that they stole when they knocked them out, to help Kanan out while the Ghost crew fired back at the troopers as well. "Time to go!" Kanan yelled out to Zeb while blocking another shot and redirecting it back to the troopers.

"Right," Zeb said before turning to the Wookies and yelling, "Everyone! Into the container!"

The Wookies followed Zeb's command while the chief held onto Zeb while reaching out to something and moaning in despair. Era, now having fully understood what the chief was trying to do, turned to look back at the chief Wookie before looking back up at Kanan. Groaning, she lightly banged her fist against the crate before disappearing in a blink of an eye and reappearing a few feet away from the battle field and began to chase after the stormtrooper and the Wookie child. "Kid stop! Karabast, I swear if she's left behind it's not my fault!" Zeb said at first shouting to Era to have her come back to where she would be safe but then grumbled to himself about her being left behind again.

That drew Kallus's attention to a disappearing Era who kept running to where she could sense the Wookie child running towards. Soon, she came upon the trooper and the child being chased upon a thin bridge that had a bottomless pit underneath it. "Hey!" she yelled out to the trooper catching its, and the Wookie child's, attention and making the both of them stop while she crouched down onto the bridge before jumping high into the air, to avoid the blast, doing a front flip while in the air, and landed in front of the Wookie child.

Quickly, she turned around and brought out her blaster from her right holster and set it to stun before firing at the trooper three times. It hit him in three different places, both on the shoulders and on the stomach, before he fell over the ramp unconscious. "Got him," Era said in victory before turning to the task at hand.

Using her concentration, she placed her right hand on the cuffs and made it light up in a white color for a bit before dimming down and the cuffs gave away with a click. Taking the cuffs off the Wookie child's wrists, she threw them over to the side and picked up the Wookie kid before placing him on her hip and turned around to be met with two blasters aimed at her from a few feet away. Turns out that during the battle, Krental had regained conscious long enough to see where Era had left and Kallus seems to have teamed up with him to take her down. "It's over for you Jedi," Kallus stated with a smirk before continuing, "A Master and A Apprentice. Such a rare find these days."

"Especially one with rare abilities to manipulate pure energy," Krental said with a sneer.

Era glared at them both before pulling out her blaster once more and twisted it sideways to show that she's ready to kill them to protect the kid. "I don't know where you two get your delusions you bucket head and traitor! I work alone," Era said with a angry sneer while declaring the last bits of her sentence to Krental to remind him of what he did years ago that made her work only alone.

"Not this time," Kanan's voice sounded from the left side of the bridge making them look to the left to see the Ghost coming up and hovering a little above the bridge with Kanan at the top and holding his lightsaber in battle mode.

Kallus fired at Kanan three times but Kanan dodged the two with ease before blocking the last blast and redirecting it back at Kallus knocking him over the bridge. Krental was about to fire at Kanan but was stopped by Era, who had put the Wookie kid down before rushing over to her main enemy, grabbing a hold of his gun and pulling it roughly out of his grip. He stumbled for a bit before he was punched by Era in the face, using all her strength and anger in it, making him fall back against the railing and kneeling on it for support. Era then walked over to him, while throwing his blaster to the side yet again, before holding tight onto his right shoulder, knowing of an old wound in that spot, and smiled at him before punching him in the neck making him fall over the bridge towards the bottomless pit before grabbing a hold of the lower stances that held up the bridge. Breathing in and out raggidly, Era put away her blaster and ran over to the Ghost with the Wookie kid as Kanan yelled out to them "Jump kid!"

The both of them jumped over the railing and landed on the top of the Ghost next to Kanan before all three of them headed inside the ship to reunite the child with his father. Era smiled at the reunion and her heart ached for the kind of love that only her family would've given her if she could just remember who they were and who she was. Sadly, the accident she was involved in took away her entire memory to help her live and fight against the Empire as well as unlock special abilities she didn't know were possible. Since then, she has been trying to break into the Imperial data files to look up names to see if her name fit in with any other names but came up with nothing. It seems as if she didn't exist to the Imperials which confused her cause they knew everyone living on Lothal and every other planet.

Sensing her sadness, Kanan placed a gentle hand upon her right shoulder and gave her a small smile before going down the ladder to reunite with his crew members. When he did that, Era was surprised that she barely flinched away from him and guessed that she was getting used to being with them. But she knew that she would have to leave the crew once the Wookies were safe from the Empire. The Wookie kid went over to her and begged for her to tell her a story, Sebil translated that for her as she had a hard time understanding the Wookie kid, so Era complied with a smile and led the Wookie kid to the cockpit before telling her favorite stories that she heard from out on the streets and kept close to her heart for safekeeping. 

The crew smiled as they saw the young child getting along with the Wookie kid and were a bit sad that soon the girl would have to leave but Kanan and Hera, however, had hope that maybe, if the Force is definitely with her, then she might have a chance to become part of their crew. But only time would tell when they got back to Lothal to drop her off.

Hey guys here you go. Chapter 6 of the Star Wars Rebels. Now sorry if there is a bit of grammar errors in there but I'm a bit sick today and really wanted to update before I went to bed and am a bit light-headed here and there but I will live so don't worry. Anyway, know you all know of Krental, Era's main number one enemy and now you know the reason why Era chose to give up on a lot of things. But at least you got to see Era kick Krental's butt and use her powers to help free the Wookies. Can't wait to see what I come up for the next chapter? Well neither can I. Love you all!
