An iridescent blue haze cast out from Anakin's lightsaber and shrouded the youngling's faces before him.

"Anakin...?" His stance did not change, he did not even turn to face you, he just loomed over the group of children, the oldest being no older than ten. "Anakin! Stop! You're scaring the younglings, put that down!"

"Do not worry y/n, they will not be in fear much longer." The younglings stood frozen in fear as Anakin raised his lightsaber above his head, without a second to spare you unclipped your own from your belt and deflected his blow, with a swift kick to his chest he flew across the room giving you a few precious seconds to usher the kids out of the room and stow them away.

"What do you think your doing?" He managed to push himself up with effortless ease, his lightsaber stay drew at his side. "I asked, what are you doing?"

"Do not meddle in things that you could never understand, don't worry, I'll come after you next."

"We have all been tempted by the dark side Anakin but it is the duty of the Jedi to rise above it."

"It is too late for me, there is no redemption. When the Jedi council turned their backs on me-"

"The council never rejected you Anakin!" A

"The council reduced me to a laughing stock!" He hastily walked towards you, stopping only when you could feel his breath as he spoke and the heat being emitted from his lightsaber warmed you.

"Jedi master is not a rank that gets thrown around. You are as young as you are impatient. The council know what they are doing Anakin, they know what is best. Do you?"

"Chancellor Palpatine knows what is best, he understands how to save us."

"You can drop the act, everybody knows Palpatine is Darth Sidious. You are playing with powers that you are unable to control Anakin, please, listen."

"I am listening, just as I listened to Obi-Wan." His hand thrusted forward and the blade of his lightsaber plunged into your stomach and a sharp pain erupted throughout your whole body, his eyes akin to the fire that must have been burning inside him "I just don't agree with you." There was nothing you could do except watch him leave as your soon to be lifeless body collapsed to the floor and everything slowly faded to nothingness.
