Hypothetical

SAD SABEZR
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Sabine walked down the hallways of the ship to a room, to visit someone.
As she walked down the hallways of the ship, she passed a few people. Some of them waved at her and some gave her sad looks.
She got to the room and the doors opened. The room was small and dimly lit to. There was nothing really inside exsept for a bed and the typical machine's.
Sabine looked over to the bed to see a very upset Jedi and pilot. Sabine sighed and walked over next to Hera.
"Any better?" Sabine asked the pilot. All she did was shack her head no, not trusting her own voice.
Sabine looked at her fellow crew member. He didn't look good at all. She was so use to him being for active and hyper, and now he was to ill to speak.
"Could I talk to Ezra on my own?" Sabine asked. Kanan and Hera nodded as they got up and left the room. Sabine then took Hera's place and sat down.
Sabine remebered the last conversation she had with him. They were on chopper base just talking.
*flashback*
Sabine and Ezra were walking around Chopper Base after he had just arrived back from a two week mission, but he would soon be leaving again for an other three weeks.
"Can I asked you a hypothetical question?" Ezra asked the girl.
"Yeah sure" she replied, not thinking to much about it.
"...if you were going to die, what would you do?" Ezra asked the Mandolorean.
Sabine looked up at him in confustion, taken back by the question. "What do you mean?" She asked him. He laughed a bit at her confusion. "Here, I'll give you a situation" he said as they walked over to a ledge at the edge of the base and sat down next to each other.
"...say you started to get out of breath a lot more easily than usually. You then start passing out at random time's and it could be hour's before you wake up.
Then..you could be walking one day and suddenly you fall. You try to move, but you find out you can't move your legs at all, and over time, this moves to your hands.
You then go to the doctor, only to find out that there is no treatment and the only solution in surgery, but it would only give you some time to live" Ezra expained to Sabine.
"Is this....really just hypothetical?" Sabine asked, thinking it to be true for how much detail he gave her. He laughed. "Yeah. It's all hypothetical" he reasured her.
She let out a breath. "Good. Cause I don't want you dieing on us, it wouldn't be the same without you" Sabine told him, pulling him into a side hug, making them both laugh.
"Yeah. Don't worry, that won't happen" Ezra reasured her, but he knew he had to lie to her, just to keep her happy for a little while longer.
*end of flashback*
Sabine remebered the day they got the news. Hera was contacted by one of the other comanding officers on Ezra's mission, saying he was critical condition.
They said that he collapsed and that he wasn't in cood condition. He asked Hera did they know about Ezra's sickness, which took the whole crew by suprise, for Ezra didn't say anything to them.
That's when Sabine remebered the chat she and Ezra had and told the crew about it. They went to see Ezra and was told by the doctor that there was the option of surgery, but it would be super risky and would only give him a little more time.
The crew didn't know what to do so they asked for a bit more time to think about it.
"Are you feeling any better?" Sabine asked Ezra. He shook his head no.
"Do you want to take the surgery to see if you get any better?" Sabine asked him.
He pointed over to the side desk were a small whiteboard and marker was. Because Ezra couldn't speak cause of how tired he was and how his voice would hurt, he just wrote everything down.
Sabine passed him the thing's and he started writing.
As he stopped writing, the board slipped out of his hand, cause of the sudden weak grip.
Another thing that happened a lot was loosing the ability to hold or grip thing's, which was a problem.
Sabine took the doard and read it.
I do want to take the chance with the surgery, even tho I may die. If it is successful, even if I only have a day left to survive, I will take that.
Sabine nodded. "So you do want to go through with it?" Sabine asked. He nodded. She sighed and then smiled. "Your the bravest person I have met, Bridger" Sabine laughed as she hugged her friend, who hugged back lightly.
Sabine wanted that momont to last forever, she didn't want to loose another friend.
