Last Jedi Rant

I just fricking realized something upon re watching Star Wars: The Last Jedi. At first I was, "Oh, yeah. Alright, I'm watching in the cinema with my parents instead of reviewing for the test." That was back in December 19th  of 2017. Then I re watched it yesterday.

Before I could start, this is my own opinion. I respect opinions, as long as they don't shove it in my throat and tell me that they are facts. Any single immature comment posted in this book will be blocked.

Okay, let's move on.

It ruined the characters, especially Luke. I was once fascinated with Phasma, that I read the Star Wars novel called 'Phasma' and her character was... Beautiful. It was very nice, until TLJ ruined it. They just killed her off so easily, just like they killed Boba Fett off. She's supposed to be a brave warrior, difficult to defeat, but Finn beat her like her training was nothing.

SPOILER ALERT IF YOU HAVEN'T READ PHASMA YET

She has been living in a waste land planet, striving for survival ever since she was born, before being recruited in the First Order, betraying people to strive to survive and make her way to the top. She kills people who are not needed and erases evidence of her past. She killed her own brother, betrayed her parents, killed her former friends, then her fellow Scyre members, then Armitage's (General Hux) father named Brendol Hux.

I really love her character. That's all I can say. Bravo, the writer who wrote the novel Phasma. She is a masterpiece that was ruined by Episode 8 -_- I kinda hoped her character will be resurrected, but nope. She dead.

Then there's Kylo... We don't wanna talk about him. His character is basically dumb and all the tension built in the Force Awakens was basically destroyed. He is basically a hormonal teenager that's 29 years old.

Then Hux. He's basically Kylo Ren's personal rag doll, often dragging him around and shit. Pardon my language, I am ranting.

Why rant? In this book, I am going to basically write their character the way I want to make them likeable. Basically have my own adaptation.

Rey, oh my God. Let's talk about Rey. From the Force Awakens, I didn't liked her. Why? She's basically a Mary Sue. I shrugged it off, thinking that they will improve her in episode 8, but nope. I am still going to give their characters a chance, because hey— Episode 9 hasn't come out yet. They might improve their characters that they destroyed. Except Phasma, they killed her off.

Alright, now I'm not an obnoxious fan that'll say "Oh MY GOD— STAR WARS RUINED MY CHILDHOOD AOBXBSJAIOQKWNDNU—" um no. Just no. I LOVE Star Wars ever since I was four years old and joined the fandom when I was 12. Now, I respect fans who loves prequels/original/sequels. Heck, I love them, too. But TLJ was my least favourite, that doesn't mean I hate the whole franchise. What the heck is that kind of logic?! Oh my God.

Rant over.
