Note: This is inspired by a theatre play called 'Hamilton'. So expect some musical aspects.

Congratulations

Armitage sat down on his office chair, his hand pressing his temple, his elbow plopped on his desk. He just messed everything up. Why did he had to say yes to Admiral Selene. And now, her husband blackmails him and threatens to tell his wife his 'actions', if he didn't hired them to a higher rank.

But Admiral Tyrine already found out, and told Y/N. Y/N suffered through depression, and thus, began to neglect her health.

The door open, only to reveal his sister-in-law, Mara L/N. "Mara." He called, approaching her.

"Dear Armitty~" Mara said in a singsong voice. When the gingerette attempted to hug her, she suddenly shoved a copy of the letter that Selene's husband sent to Y/N.

"Congratulations." She mocked, folding her hands behind her back. "You have invented a new kind of stupid." She walked away from Hux, her back turned away from him.

"'A damage you can never undo', kind of stupid," she laughed. "'And open all the cages' in the zoo' kind of stupid. 'Truly, you didn't think this through?' kind of stupid." Mara's tone became cold, emphasizing every word with venom. Mara sat down on Hux's study table, where multiple stacks of paper were laying around. She put her thigh atop the other, her hand reaching towards a paper.

"Let's review," she smirked at him, holding up two letters from Selene's husband. "You took a rumor of few, maybe two people knew and refuted it by sharing an affair of which NO ONE has accused you." She crumbled the letter, then threw it aside.

"I begged for you to take a break, you refused too." She got up from the table, then walked towards Armitage. "So scared of what your enemies will do to you," she pointed an accusing finger towards him. "YOU'RE the only enemy you seem to loose to!"

"You know why Ren can't do what he wants? He doesn't dignify school-yard taunts with a response, so yeah! Congratulations!" She turned away from him.

"Mara," Hux reached out for Mara.

"You've redefined your legacy, congratulations!" "It was an act of a political sacrifice!" Hux retorted.

"Sacrifice?" Mara let out a laugh with a mocking tone... But somewhere in her tone, you can hear sadness dripping. She then saw the holographic image of Y/N and Armitage's wedding, with her on the side.

She blew a sigh. "I languished in a loveless marriage in Naboo, I lived to only read your letters. I look at you and think 'God what have we done with our lives and what did it get us?'. But that doesn't wipe away the tears or the years away. But I'm back in this ship and I'm here to stay... And you know what I'm here to do...?" She trailed off.

"Mara..." Hux out his gloved hand on Mara's shoulder. Mara glared at him, slapping his hand away.

"I'm not here for you..." She said. She began walking towards him, as he backed away. "I know my sister like I know my own mind! You will never find anyone as trusting or as kind! And a million years ago, she said 'this one's mine'... So I stood by... DO YOU KNOW WHY?" She grabbed him by the collar, tears starting to stream down her a face.

"I LOVE MY SISTER MORE THAN ANYTHING IN THIS LIFE!," She pushed Hux away, and began to lock her hands in her hair. "I WILL CHOOSE HER HAPPINESS OVER MINE, ANY TIME! Y/N!!!" "Y/N..."

"IS THE BEST THING IN OUR LIVES! SO NEVER LOSE THE SIGHT OF THE FACT THAT YOU HAVE BEEN BLESSED WITH THE BEST WIFE!" She yelled. "Congratulations!"

"For the rest of your life!" She began to walk towards the door. "Every sacrifice you make is for my sister, give her the best life!" She punched the code by the door. And before she could step out side, she turned to him once again. "CONGRATULATIONS!" She yelled, before leaving.

Armitage collapsed on the floor, covering his face with his gloved hand. He can't believe that he brought shame to his family... His wife, his son, his daughter... He ruined it all.
