Y/N's P.O.V

After walking for what seems like years, Finn and I finally spot an outpost in the distance.

Once we make it to the outpost, we both look around for any water source as we hadn't drunk anything for hours.

After losing Finn for a minute I turn around to see him sticking his head a disgusting batch of water.

Y/N: Oh, come on, Finn. That water is disgusting. You're gonna puke your guts up.

Finn: I don't care, I need a drink. I'm dying here, man.

When Finn finished drinking I hear what seems to be a woman struggling.

I turn around to see a group of male scavenger's trying rob a girl.

I run over there to try and help her.

Y/N: Hey, back off!

But when I get closer she's already taken them down.

The girl is a badass, I've gotta give her that.

I get a closer look I see that she has BD-7 and BB-8 with her.

BD-7 notices me and the girl looks up at me too.

And as soon as I see her I knew she had to have be the most beautiful girl I'd ever seen.

Rey's P.O.V

After fighting off the scavengers I see BD-7 notice something.

I look up and see a guy standing there he must have been BD-7 friend.

When I see him I feel the heat rise to my cheeks.

He's really handsome.

And when I see him smile at BD I could have sworn my heart melted a little. 

He must have that affect on many women.

Y/N's P.O.V

BD-7: (Happily beeps.)

I see BD running towards me.

I then start moving forward too and, get down to his level.

Y/N: BD! Hey buddy, it's so good to see you!

BB-8 knocks my leg a little.

Y/N: Its good to see you too, BB-8.

I then kneel down to BB-8.

Y/N: BB-8. Listen, Poe isn't with me but don't worry he's okay and, he said he'll find a way to catch up to us.

BB-8: (Sadly beeps.)

I then stand up and the girl comes towards me.

???: Hi, you must be BD's friend he's been going on about.

Y/N: Yeah. He and I have been friends for a long time.

???: Right well he's been very helpful for me.

Y/N: Well I'm glad and thanks for looking after these two. I really appreciate it.

The girl looks down as if she was embarrassed. She then looked up with slightly red cheeks.

???: Of course. It was no problem.

I see her looking at my jacket.

???: Are you with the Resistance?

I then realise that she's looking at the Resistance symbol on my jacket.

Y/N: Oh yeah, I am, I'm a captain.

She looks at me and smiles.

???: I've never met a Resistance fighter before.

I smile.

Y/N: Yeah well, this is what we look like. Some us that is. Some aren't fortunate enough to be this good looking.

She giggles.

Even her giggle is cute.

???: It must be hard for you?

Y/N: Well, it's a blessing and a curse, what can I say?

We both laugh.

???: So, if you don't mind me asking what's BB-8 doing that's so important?

Y/N: Well he's carrying a map that leads to Luke Skywalker and everyone is after it.

Her eyes widen.

???: Luke Skywalker! I thought he was a myth.

Y/N: Believe me, he's not.

???: You say that like you know him.

Y/N: It's because I do. He was close with my parents.

???: Wow.

Just then Finn rushes over.

Finn: Hey man, we've gotta go.

I turn to see a squad of stormtroopers looking at us.

Y/N: Oh shit. We gotta go.

I grab the girl's hand and we start running.

Y/N: BB-8, stay close!

We carry on running avoiding blaster fire until we make it to a tent.

???: (Panting) What the hell? They were shooting at all three of us.

Finn: (Panting) It's because they saw you with us. You're marked now.

Y/N: Sorry, we didn't know we were being followed.

I then hear the sound of T.I.E fighter incoming.

Y/N: Oh shit, we've gotta go.

We make it out of the tent before it blows up but we get hit slightly by the explosion.

I shake my head and see the girl shaking me.

???: Hey, come on, let's go. Get up.

I sit up slightly.

Y/N: Oh god. Are you okay?

She looks at me before responding.

???: Yeah. Come on, let's go.

She helps me up and I turn to see Finn getting up too.

As we make are way out of the outpost we head towards a quad jumper.

But it gets destroyed, so we head to the ship that the girl called garbage before.

Y/N: Looks like the garbage will have to do, sweetheart.

We run towards the ship and as we get closer I instantly recognise the ship.

We run up the ramp into the ship. I then point Finn to the gunner position.

Y/N: Gunner position is down there.

I then go up to the cockpit.

???: Are you sure you can fly this thing? I mean it hasn't flown in years.

Y/N: Don't worry, let's just say I grew up flying ships like this one.

The girl then jumps into the co-pilot seat.

???: Well then you'll need co-pilot.

Y/N: Okay let's do it.

We take off with a bit of a bumpy start, but we eventually get the ship off the ground.

Finn: Whoa, whoa. Stay low it confuses their tracking.

Y/N: Okay I'm going low.

After a bit of a chase Finn takes out one of the fighter. But then the gunner position gets hit hard.

Finn: Oh shit. The cannon is stuck. You guys are gonna have to lose them.

I see a downed Star Destroyer from the old war and get an idea.

Y/N: Okay I've got a plan, we'll lose them in there.

???: Wait, are you sure this ship can handle that?

Y/N: I tend to never ask that question until after I've done it.

We fly through the destroyer and get Finn into a position to take down the last T.I.E.

Once that's done we fly into space and the girl and I celebrate.

Y/N: Yes!! Nice job. You were amazing.

???: Thanks, you too

We then realise we're holding hands. We both move our hands away quickly. 

Finn comes into the cockpit with BD-7 and BB-8.

Y/N: Nice shooting, man.

Finn: Hey, you guys are great pilot's. You made it easy for me.

After a moment of silence the girl speaks.

???: So I never got your names.

Y/N: Right, I'm Y/N. Y/N Solo and this is Finn. What's your name?

???: I'm Rey. Rey Solana.

The three of us shake hands.

Y/N: So, Rey Solana. Do you want to help my friends and I get back to the Resistance base, so we can find Luke Skywalker?

Rey: Yeah, okay. I'm in. But as soon as that's over I need you to bring me back here.

Y/N: Okay, deal.

We then hear an explosion come from the main room of the ship.

Y/N: What the fuck was that?

We make it to the main room to see smoke coming out of the floor.

Rey: Shit! Help me with this.

Rey and I then lift the panel off of the floor to fix the leak.

I realise then that if these two are coming with me I should probably tell them about my Jedi secret.

But that would put an even bigger target on their backs and I can't do that to them.

So I guess I'll keep it to myself for now.
