Y/N's P.O.V

Rey and I run through the snowy forest to find a way to either get off the planet or to find Finn and Chewie.

Y/N: Come on, we gotta keep going.

I then hear a lightsabter activate and I immediately knew who it was I didn't even need to sense it.

Rey and I walk up a little further to see Ben, Kylo Ren standing there with his lightsaber out ready to fight.

Kylo Ren: We're not done yet.

Just looking at him makes my angry rise up and through my body.

Y/N: I'm gonna kill you.

Kylo Ren: No you won't. You don't have what it takes to kill me kid.

Rey: You're a monster.

Kylo looks at Rey

Kylo Ren: It's just us now. Han Solo can't save you this time girl.

He then looks at me again.

Kylo Ren: Neither can your little boyfriend.

Kylo then smacks the area where he was shot and I see some blood come out.

Rey then pulls her gun to try and shoot him but he uses the force to send her into the air.

Rey screams out.

She then hitting a tree.

Y/N: Rey!

She falls down and hits the snowy ground. I run over to her without hesitation.

I bend down and hold her in my arms shaking her to wake her up.

Y/N: Rey. Come on, Rey. Please wake up, come on. Rey, please. No, no, no.

Kylo Ren: You know you could have joined me Y/N. But no you didn't do that did you? You didn't do that because you nothing but a (Yells) Traitor!

I lift my head up and I feel the angry and honestly I feel the darkside rise up in me. I've felt it a few times before now, but this was one of those times when it was at it strongest.

I stand up and pull my lightsaber out and activate it.

Y/N: I'm gonna kill you for what you’ve done.

Kylo Ren: Oh, is that right. Last I checked that isn't the Jedi way.

I stare him down.

Y/N: I'm no Jedi, not anymore.

I run straight at him at slash at him with a fury. He immediately goes on the offensive pushing me back. As we clash sabers I notice that the gun shot wound is affecting him more than he's letting on.

I use this by getting up close and punching him in the side weakling his defenses. But he quickly gains the upper hand by backing me up against a tree and pushing part of his crossguard into my shoulder.

Y/N: Ahhhh!

I headbutt him to knock him back and I run and jump at him to knock his defenses, this gives me the opportunity to land a hit on his shoulder.

I then slice at his leg which makes him fall to the floor. I back up to make sure he can't do the same.

Y/N: What's the matter Benny? You can't keep up?

Kylo Ren: I protected you when we were kids, now I'm gonna kick your little ass.

Y/N: Give it your best shot.

Kylo Ren: Rahhhhhhh!

Kylo comes at me again going on the offensive which is hard for me as my lightsaber form is form 5 and Kylo knows it.

After a few minutes of back and forth fighting neither are able to gain the upper hand. Kylo and I clash sabers and we both knock each other back.

We then start circling each other, the red and blue colours coming from our lightsaber's lighting up the dark and snowy forest we were in.

Due to our connection I know that he and I are both thinking that we need to end this fight now.

So we both charge at each other and our sabers clash. But out of nowhere Kylo knees me in the stomach which catches me off guard, he then knocks my saber hand upwards then does a quick spin manoeuvre and cuts my hand clean off.

Y/N: Ahhh!

He then slices my leg. Which makes me drop to the floor.

Kylo is about to bring the lightsaber down on my head but he gets sent flying backwards.

I look up and see Rey, she used the force to save me that's the last thing I see before blacking out.

Rey's P.O.V

I run over to Y/N after he passes out, I check his pulse and its still going so I know he's alive.

I look up to see Kylo Ren getting back up. I then reach inside Y/N's jacket pocket and pull out Luke's lightsaber, then I remembered that Finn gave it to him after we met back up.

I stand up and activate the lightsaber. I see Ren is angered by this. He points he's red saber at me.

Kylo Ren: That lightsaber. It belongs to me.

Rey: Come get it.

I charge at Ren.

(Five minutes later)

After taking down Ren and us getting separated before I could finish him off I go back to check on Y/N.

I run over to his body to see that he still hasn't woken up.

Rey: Y/N! Please wake up! Please! Don't leave me please. I need you.

I bend down and cry into his chest.

Y/N: (Whispers) I'll never leave you.

I look up.

Rey: Y/N?

He nods and I help him sit up.

Overcome with all my mixed emotions I pull him in and kiss him with all I've got, considering we're probably gonna die in a few minutes.

As we pull away we see lights come up and it's the Falcon. Once it lands Chewie comes over and picks Y/N up and carries him to the ship. I grab Luke's and Y/N's lightsabers before following Chewie back to the Falcon.

After getting to ship we then take off and see Resistance X-Wing's flying ahead of us, we then tak off into light speed.

(Planet: D'Qar)

Y/N's P.O.V

I wake up feeling someone's hand going through my hair I open my eyes and see Rey sitting there running her hand through my hair.

Rey: Hey you. We're at the Resistance base.

I smile at her and start to stand up.

Rey: Hey, come on, let me help you.

I nod as Rey puts my arm around her shoulder she helps me limp down the ramp of the Falcon as we come out into the open I see mum walking towards us. I leave Rey and limp over to her.

Mum then puts her hand on my face that's when I knew she already knew about dad.

Y/N: Mum... I... I tried.

I broke down I couldn't even say it.

Mum pulls me into a hug.

Leia: I know, baby, I know.

I just cry into her shoulder. When I sense Rey coming closer to us I pull her into the hug as well.

Once we pull away I start to feel light headed.

Y/N: Guys, I don't feel so good...

The last thing I feel is my body hitting the floor.

(A/N: Oh and if your wondering why Y/N didn't use Luke's lightsaber during the fight. That will be explained in the Last Jedi part of this story.)
