Y/N's P.O.V

After walking down a dirt path we make it to the outskirts of Maz's Castle.

Han: If you want to get this droid to the Resistance we need to get you guys on a clean ship.

Rey: Clean?

Han: Do you think that it was luck that Chewie and I found the Falcon? If we can find the Falcon on our scans then the First Order can't be far behind.

Han: And if you want a clean ship Maz Kanda is our best bet.

Finn: Can we trust her Solo?

Han: Relax kid, Maz has being running this watering hole for a thousand years.

Y/N: Oh, and we should warn you that Maz can be a bit an acquired taste so you guys better let dad and I do the talking.

We reach the entrance and dad and I turn around.

Y/N: Oh, and whatever you do. Don't stare.

Rey & Finn: At what?

Dad and I look at each other.

Y/N & Han: Any of it.

We turn to face the door and it opens and when we walk in we see all different species of aliens drinking, converting with each other. I then look off into the distance and see Maz.

Maz turns to see us.

Maz: Han Solo!

Everyone in the place goes silent and look at us.

Han: (Whispers) Oh boy. Hey Maz!

She then comes over to us.

Maz: Where's my boyfriend?

Dad looks at us before replying.

Han: Chewie's working on the Falcon.

Maz: I like that Wookie.

Maz then looks at me.

Maz: And Y/N Solo, as I live and breathe.

Y/N: Hi Maz.

Maz takes my hand and I kneel down to her level.

Maz: It's good to see you again my young friend. I remember the first time I saw you. You were this adorable, excited little boy. Now look at you. You're a man now.

Maz: And BD-7, its good to see you too.

BD-7: (Happily beeps.)

I smile at her words.

Y/N: Yeah, I guess I grew up.

Maz then look to dad.

Maz: I assume you need something. Desperately. Come on, let's talk.

Maz walks off and we follow.

After a few minutes of walking around I see Rey getting harassed by someone, who I assumed to be her boss from Jakku.

I go over to help her.

???: You are coming back to Jakku now!

I grab his shoulder and put my hand in his face to use a Jedi mind trick.

Y/N: Rey will not be going back to Jakku with you.

He repeates what I say.

???: "Rey will not be going back to Jakku with me."

Y/N: You should take your ship and head back to Jakku.

???: "I should take my ship and head back to Jakku."

Y/N: You should get going then.

???: "I should get going then."

He walks off. I turn to see Rey with a shocked look on her face.

Rey: What was that?

Y/N: That was a Jedi mind trick. It only works the weak minded.

Rey: Wow.

Y/N: Yeah, it's pretty cool right? Well, we should get back to the other's.

Rey: Okay.

I then feel Rey lock her fingers around mine and hold my hand. When she does this I feel my face heat up slightly.

I look down and squeeze her hand gently.

Y/N: Don't worry, I've got you.

She smiles at me as we walk back to the table.

Once we get to the table we talk to Maz as she explains that dad needs to get back into the fight and, that we need to fight the First Order together. This causes Finn to say that the First Order isn't beatable and that he thinks we should run.

Finn then decides that he's going to go to the outer rim to run from the First Order. Rey and I try to convince him not to go, but he doesn't listen and goes anyway.

As Finn is about to walk out the door I call to him.

Y/N: Finn!

He turns to face me.

Y/N: May the force be with you.

Finn nods to me and walks out.

Rey and I look at each other for a moment and then I hear the echo's of a little girl screaming.

Rey: Do you hear that?

Y/N: Yeah, I do. Stay close.

I take Rey's hand and we walk down the stairs to follow the noise with BD-7 and BB-8 following close behind.

We walk down the hall until we reach the door at the end. Rey tries to open the door.

Rey: There's no handle, how do we open it?

Y/N: With a key.

I use the force to open the door and it opens up to reveal a chest.

Rey and I walk in and go over to the chest and open it.

We look inside to see my grandfather Anakin Skywalker's lightsaber.

Y/N: No, it can't be.

Rey: What?

Y/N: This was my grandfather's lightsaber. I thought it had been lost forever, but I guess I was wrong.

I then notice Rey reach out to grab it and, using my force echo ability I know its a bad idea.

I grab her wrist.

Y/N: Rey don't!

She and I make contact with the saber and hear a lightsaber being activated, when we close the chest we are transported to a dark hallway that gets lit up by lights. Rey and I run down the hallway, I then tackle Rey to stop us from being crushed as the hallway was falling apart.

As we're laying on the ground we see a hooded figure putting a hand on top of an astro-mech's head. Due to the darkness I couldn't see who either of them were.

Both of us turn and see a man is about to kill us when he is stabbed in the back by a red lightsaber. Rey and I stand up to see Kylo Ren and his knight's of Ren standing in the rain with us.

Rey and I turn once again to see a little girl screaming at a ship and asking them people on board to come back.

We then find ourselves running through the snow, when we hear a voice.

???: Y/N, Rey.

We then see Kylo Ren come out from behind a tree.

As we stumble backwards we fall to the ground and find ourselves back in the basement that we started in. During the fall Rey fell inbetween my legs and I wrap my arm protectively around her.

???: These are your first steps.

We turn to see Maz standing there.

Rey: What was that?

I stand up, then help Rey up.

Rey: Sorry, we shouldn't have gone in there.

Maz comes closer.

Maz: That Lightsaber in there belonged to Y/N's uncle and his grandfather before him. And now it calls to you.

Maz then goes on to explain that Rey need to take the saber and learn to feel the force. And that whoever she's waiting for back on Jakku isn't gonna come back.

Maz: The saber. Take it.

Rey stands up from her knelt position.

Rey: No. I'm never touching that thing again.

Rey then starts to leave.

Y/N: Rey, wait!

Rey then starts running down the hall.

I look down to Maz.

Maz: Go after her. Help her.

Y/N: I can't help her Maz, I don't know what say or how to help her. I didn't even finish my Jedi training, so how am I supposed to help someone else with their's?

Maz: Well, you can start by using your own words, and not any of your masters words.

I nod to Maz and go after Rey along with BD-7 and BB-8.

I just hope I can catch up to her before she finds a ship and leaves for good.
