Y/N's P.O.V

After hours of labour Rey finally gave birth to our child. It was a little boy, and we've decided we are going to call him Anakin Solo.

Rey's now asleep and I'm sitting in the chair next to her holding little Anakin in my arms.

I then feel a force presence behind me, I already know who it is though. I turn to see my grandfather's force ghost standing behind me.

Anakin: Hey, kid.

Y/N: Hi, grandfather. Did you come to meet your namesake?

Anakin: Something like that.

Grandfather comes closer to look at little Anakin.

Anakin: He's got your eyes.

Y/N: Yeah it's crazy. I just hope I don't screw this whole "being dad" thing.

Anakin: I'm sure you'll be great. Just follow your instincts and you'll be fine because they've served you well so far.

Y/N: I guess so. All I know is that I'm gonna make it my personal mission to make sure that he doesn't make the same mistakes that I did. Just like my father did with me and tried his best to do with Ben.

Anakin: That's good. That's what every father should do.

After talking a bit more Anakin decides to leave as Rey is about to wake up.

Rey: Hey there, handsome. Who were you talking to?

Y/N: Just an old friend.

She smiles at the sight of me holding our child.

Rey and I talk and enjoy the occasion.

(43 ABY. Y/N's age: 29)

(Planet: Chandrila)

Myself and BD-7 have just come back from a mission in on the planet of Coruscant and after landing we head back home.

Rey and I are now living in my childhood home with our son Anakin and our four year old daughter Jaina Solo, she was born three years after Anakin.

Once I make it back home BD jumps off my shoulder and runs into the house.

As I walk into the living room I see Rey playing ball with the kids.

When I walk outside the ball lands at my feet, I pick it up and start running at them as the three of them try to get it away from me.

Y/N: Whoa, he dodges left and right. He's going for it...

Before I could finish Anakin and Jaina jump on my back then Rey does the same, which knocks me to the ground.

Y/N: Ah, Solo's down, he didn't make it.

Rey and the kids start giggling.

Rey: (Smiling) You're home early.

I sit up.

Y/N: Well I finished early so I decided to come home and see my wife and kids. And as Grandmaster I get to choose when I go back to the temple.

Rey and I then kiss.

Anakin & Jaina: Eww!

Rey: Oh come on babies I think we get a pass on that one.

Jaina then jumps on my lap and hugs me.

Jaina: I missed you daddy.

Y/N: I missed you too baby girl.

I stand up and hold Jaina in my arms. I then feel Anakin wrap his arms around my waist and hug me.

Anakin: I missed you too dad. Is uncle Ben here too?

I look down at him.

Y/N: No buddy, not this time. But you'll be able to see him soon, I promise.

Anakin: Oh okay. I can't wait until I get to be a Jedi like you, mum, uncle Ben and grandpa Anakin.

Little Anakin then starts running around playing Jedi as he often does.

Rey: He's so much like you.

Y/N: I know it's kinda scary.

Rey: Come on baby boy, it's time for dinner.

Anakin turns and his face lights up and runs back to the house.

Rey and I walk back to the house with Jaina in my arms.

(The next day)

I'm currently in my office finishing some work and I hear footsteps coming my way.

I spin round in my chair and see Anakin in the doorway.

Anakin: Hey dad, have you seen Jaina? We're playing hide & seek and she's hiding.

I shake my head.

Y/N: No I haven't.

Anakin: Okay.

He then runs off.

I spin back around to my desk, I then bend down and look under my desk to see Jaina hiding down there with BD-7.

Y/N: Okay, you're clear.

She climbs out with BD.

Jaina: Thanks daddy.

She sneaks out of the room with BD.

I then see Rey walk in and comes over to me and sits on my lap.

She then kisses me on the cheek. She then kisses me on the lips deeply.

I slightly moan into the kiss.

She pulls away.

Y/N: What'd I do to deserve that?

Rey: For just being here. I missed you so much.

Y/N: I can tell given what we did last night, not that I'm complaining.

Rey: Good. Last night was fantastic, it feels like forever since we did it like that.

Y/N: Tell me about it. We're married and have two kids. We're just an old married couple now.

She nods.

Rey: I guess so.

We smile and each other.

Y/N: We did it!

Rey: Yeah!

We high five.

Rey and I then leave my office and go to spend time with the kids as a family.

(46 ABY. Y/N's age: 32)

(Planet: Tython)

Rey and I are now back on Tython at the Jedi temple with Anakin and Jaina.

Today is Anakin's first day as an official Jedi Padawan as he's now ten years old.

Rey and I wanted to wait until he was the same age as I was when I started my training.

My Jedi temple doesn't have the same amount of Jedi compared to the before order 66, but we're currently at six thousand Jedi, which is pretty good.

I'll also be taking Anakin as my Padawan learner as he's my son and all. Kira has recently gained the rank of Jedi Knight.

So I'm able to take Anakin as my Padawan, he'll be the second Jedi I've trained.

Rey, Ben, Finn and I are all Jedi Master's that sit on the Jedi council along with three other Jedi Master's.

Mum also spends time at the temple as a advisor, but not an official Jedi. She'll even help some of the Jedi Padawan's that don't have a Jedi Master yet.

I'm now outside with Anakin teaching him how to lift objects with the force.

He starts struggling as he's trying to lift R2 off the ground. Anakin then gives up.

Anakin: Ugh. Sorry, dad. I just can't do it. I'm not as strong as you.

I kneel down to his level and put my hands on his arms.

Y/N: Anakin, this isn't about physical strength. To do this you must use your mental strength. Now turn around.

He turns around and I continue to talk to him.

Y/N: Now picture lifting R2 in your mind. Focus on it. Use the force, Anakin.

Anakin starts focuses his force energy and lifts R2 up into the air.

Anakin opens his eyes and smiles.

He then gently drops R2 to the ground.

He and I high five.

Anakin: I did it, dad! I did it!

Y/N: I knew you could. I'm proud of you, Anakin. You've taken your first steps into a larger world.

???: He said that to me once.

Anakin and I look behind me and see Kira standing there.

Anakin: Kira!

Anakin runs over to her and Kira picks him up and kisses his cheek.

This makes Anakin's face turns red a little as right now Anakin seems to have a little childhood crush on Kira.

Y/N: Ah, my old Padawan and my new Padawan together. This brings a warm feeling to my heart.

Kira smiles.

Kira: Aww, that's cute, Y/N.

Anakin: Kira, did you see me lift R2?

Kira: I did. One day you'll be a strong Jedi just like your daddy.

Anakin: Yep!

Y/N: Hey Kira, you mind staying with Anakin? I need to check in with mum.

Kira: Yeah, sure.

Y/N: Thanks.

I go off to find mum and see her talking to a Padawan learner.

Leia: Do you understand?

Padawan: Yes, Master Leia.

Leia: You don't have to call me Master, sweetie. Leia is just fine.

Padawan: But Master Y/N said that we need to call you that.

Leia: Don't pay attention to him. I used to change his diparers before he was a Jedi Master. So don't take him seriously.

The Padawan starts giggling.

Y/N: Oh, is that right, mother?

The Padawan quickly runs off and mum smiles at me.

Y/N: Mum, I love you but can you please stop telling the students that, because it really undermines my authority when you tell them that.

Leia: That's why I do it.

She and I laugh about it.

Mum then puts her hand on my cheek.

Leia: I'm so proud of you baby, for everything you've done here.

Y/N: Thanks mum.

???: Hey you two.

Mum and I turn to see Rey and Jaina come over to us.

Leia: Ah, there's my beautiful daughter-in-law and beautiful granddaughter.

Both Rey and Jaina blush at this. Jaina then runs and mum picks her up.

Jaina: Hey grandma.

Leia: Hi baby.

I put my arm around Rey.

Rey: So how'd Anakin do today?

Y/N: Really good, he's a natural.

Leia: Just like his father.

I smile.

Jaina: Daddy, when I can be a Jedi?

Jaina then gets handed over to me.

Y/N: Not now baby girl, but one day you will. Okay?

Jaina: Okay. Will Kira train me?

Y/N: Maybe, I guess we'll see.

Jaina: Okay!

Jaina then jumps down and runs over to someone.

Jaina: Uncle Ben!

We turn to see Ben holding his niece in his arms.

Ben: Hey there sweetheart. You being good?

Jaina: Yeah! But I wanna be a Jedi uncle Ben, but daddy said I have to wait.

Ben: Well don't worry, one day you'll be a beautiful Jedi that will have all the boys falling in love with you.

I go over.

Y/N: Nope no, no boys for this one. She'll be too busy with Jedi training to focus on boys.

Both Rey and Jaina giggle at this.

We then see Kira and Finn come in with Anakin.

I'm now surrounded by my family. If you told me that when uncle Luke's Jedi temple fell I'd be where I am now, I would've called you crazy.

But I'm here with my family and I couldn't be happier. I have a fantastic and beautiful wife, two amazing kids, my mother and brother.

My family is here with me and I couldn't be happier.
