(Two days later)

Y/N's P.O.V

Rey and I are currently training out in the woods with mum along with BD and BB-8.

Mum is trying to teach Rey and I a technique that allows us to hear the voices of the Jedi who came before us.

I'm now meditating in the air with rocks floating around me as mum, Rey, BB-8 and BD-7 watch on.

Y/N: Be with me. Be with me. Be with me.

I open my eyes.

Y/N: They're not with me, are they?

I sigh and float down, then I land on the ground. I go over to mum and Rey.

Leia: Y/N, you have to be patient. That goes for both you.

Y/N: Mum, I'm starting to think it's impossible, to hear the voices of the Jedi that came before.

Leia: Nothing's impossible.

I smile.

Y/N: Nothing's impossible. Okay its my turn to run the training course.

Mum hands me my lightsaber.

(A/N: Just a reminder that this is the new lightsaber that Y/N built. Just in case anyone forgot for whatever reason.)

I then take off into the woods with BD-7 and BB-8 following me. I then activate my saber.

As I'm running I make to it the helmet we have set up for the course and see the training droid coming my way.

I jump on the log bridging the two sides.

I then start deflecting the blaster shots. I go to the other side and drop the helmet whilst still deflecting blaster shots.

I climb up a tree and cut a piece of red cloth off and when I drop down I catch it.

As I'm running back I jump across to the other side doing a barrel roll to get to my feet. I then run back into the woods with BD-7, BB-8 and the training droid following close behind.

I continue running and get tripped up by the training droid. I stand to my feet and activate my lightsaber.

I swing at the droid and keep missing and getting hit by shots. As I'm swinging at it I'm hitting trees and cutting them in half.

The whole time I'm doing this I start to feel anger, but it's not my anger its someone else's.

I then throw my saber and it starts cutting more trees down. Before it comes back to me I ues the force to grab a stick and stab the droid sticking it to a tree.

My saber then comes back around and I catch it.

As I look around I hear voices in my head, voices I've heard before from both the light and dark sides of my consciousness.

Young Rey: No!

Rey: No!

Kylo Ren: Join me, join me.

Darth Vader: Join me.

Luke: Ben! No!

Han: Ben!

(A/N: So I know in the movie that Ben hears Luke's and Han's voices, but as he and Y/N have a connection I think that it would make sense that Y/N would hear their voices too.)

I couldn't believe it. I heard Darth Vader's voice. I haven't hear his voice since the day I used the darkside on Lothal after Mara's death, I hear it in my dreams. I then hear a voice I don't recognise.

???: You will join me Solo! As your grandfather once did!

Y/N: What?

When I come back to reality I hear beeping. I turn to see BB-8 with a tree on top of him.

I run over and help him.

Y/N: Oh god! BB-8 I'm so sorry buddy.

(Ten minutes later)

After helping BB-8 I head back to base to meet up with mum and Rey.

I decide not to tell them about the voices I heard, but I could tell by both their faces that they knew but they didn't want to push the issue.

Y/N: I didn't finish the training course this time. I got distracted. I just don't feel like myself right now, mum I know it looks like I'm making excuses.

She shakes her head.

Leia: Sweetie, don't tell me what things look like, tell me what they are.

I sigh.

Y/N: I guess I'm just tired.

We then see Connix come over.

Connix: General, the Falcon's not back yet. The Commanders are asking for guidance.

Mum and I look back to each other, I then look down at my saber.

Y/N: I promise you I will earn the right to be called a Jedi again. One day.

BD-7: (Beeps.)

I look down at BD and smile.

Y/N: No buddy, you can't do it for me.

Leia: Y/N, you should know by now never underestimate a droid.

Mum then walks off.

Y/N: Yes Master.

(One hour later)

I'm currently in my workshop looking through Jedi texts to find out more about the voices I'm hearing and how they connect to Ben and I.

As I'm doing this I find something in a book, it's a device known as a Sith Way Finder.

Rey then comes in and we talk about the voices that we both heard. She and I both think has to do with the connection the three of us share.

I'm frustrated that we can't find any answers and Rey feels this and as I'm looking through another book she comes over and puts her hands on my shoulders.

Rey: Y/N, you need to relax.

Y/N: No Rey, I need to find answers! And I won't find them...

I try and stand but she forces me to sit back down.

Rey: No you need to relax!

She then uses the force in combination with massaging my shoulders to calm me.

Rey: There you go, just relax. That's it, I can already feel your pulse slowing down.

Y/N: Hhhmmm, yeah.

After that she comes over and sits on my lap and then kisses me on the cheek.

Rey: Look babe I get it okay? I get why you're stressed, I really do. These voices, no answers on our connection and this war I get all of that. But you can't let it send you into a spiral like this.

I nod.

Y/N: Yeah I know. You're right. I'm sorry I didn't mean to shout at you like that, it's just I'm tired of the war and the fighting I just want it to be over.

I then lean my head into her neck, she then starts running her hand up and down the back of my head.

Rey: It's okay, and I know you. So do I, don't worry it will be over.

I nod and wrap my arms around her waist.

Y/N: Yeah, you're right. Though after this fight it over you and I are going on a long vacation, somewhere really nice to just relax.

I feel her smile.

Rey: That sounds perfect.

Y/N: Thank you Rey.

She pulls my head away so she can look at me.

Rey: For what?

Y/N: For just always being here when I need you, I always will.

Rey: Yeah, well I need you too. I don't what I'd do if I lost you.

Y/N: Well you don't have to worry about that. Because I'll never leave you.

She smiles and kisses me deeply, and after a few minutes she pulls away.

Rey: Now, let's look at these texts there's gotta be something in here about our connection.

I nod.

Y/N: Yes ma'am.

Rey stands and grabs a book and we carry on searching for answers.
