(Two days later)

Y/N's P.O.V

After two days of waiting and resting we finally get the location of the Jedi temple that's on Chandrila.

I decide to head there alone and get what we need, but Rey obviously doesn't like the idea of that.

As I'm heading to the exit of the Falcon Rey stops infront of me.

Rey: I already told you I'm not letting you go on your own.

Y/N: Rey, you have to.

Rey: Why?

Y/N: Because Jedi temples can be tricky and dangerous, so I should go alone. Plus if something goes wrong in there you could be the last Jedi in the galaxy left standing.

Through our connection I know she agrees with me and understands why I need to go alone.

Rey: Okay, fine. Just please be careful I don't want to lose you.

She leans in and kisses me.

After pulling away I put my hand on her cheek.

Y/N: Don't worry, I'll be fine Rey.

I then move and open the door of the Falcon.

Y/N: I'll be back in a few hours with what we need. I promise.

Rey: Okay, but if your not back by sunset I'm gonna come and look for you.

I nod.

Y/N: Okay. BD, let's go.

BD-7: (Happily beeps.)

BD then jumps on my shoulder and we leave the Falcon.

(Twenty minutes later)

I finally make it to the location of the Jedi temple and once I get to the door and put my hand on it the door opens.

Y/N: Well, I'm not sure if that's a good or a bad thing.

BD-7: (Beeps.)

Y/N: I don't know what it means buddy, let's find out.

BD-7: (Happily beeps.)

Once walking inside the temple I find myself in an empty room.

Y/N: Well I didn't expect to see nothing when I walked in here.

I then hear a noise and look to my left and see a door opening up.

I close my eyes and use the force. After a few seconds I know that going through that door will get me where I need to be.

Y/N: Alright, BD keep an eye out for anything suspicious.

BD-7: (Beeps.)

Y/N: That's my buddy.

I walk over to the door and go through it.

Once I'm through I find myself in a pitch black room. I then look and see that BD-7 is gone.

I start looking around.

Y/N: BD! BD-7 where are you?!

???: There's no-one here, but you and I.

I look over and see a figure in the shadows. Once the figure comes out of the shadows I see someone I never thought I'd see here.

I saw Kyle Katarn, my Jedi Master.

Y/N: Master Katarn? What the hell?

Kyle: Ah, Padawan. It's time for instruction.

I then realise that this is a force vision.

He activates his saber.

Knowing I need to defend myself I unclip my saber from my belt and activate it.

Kyle then charges at me swinging his saber, but I mange to block his strike.

As he and I fight all the emotions I felt the day he died started to come back. The pain, the loss and the guilt I feel for not being able to save him.

He swings his lightsaber at me, but I duck under it and push my lightsaber forward and it goes though him.

I look up and see him looking at me.

Kyle: That's right, my blood is on your hands Padawan!

Y/N: Nooooo!!!

I close my eyes and open them to see that Kyle is gone and the room is brightly lit as well.

I feel the tears running down my face. I then look down and see that my robotic hand has crushed and broke my lightsaber.

I shake my head and walk away. Once I'm out of the room I see BD-7 standing there.

Y/N: Come on BD, we're going.

He runs over and jumps on my shoulder and we leave the temple.

Once I'm back at the Falcon everyone sees me and can tell something bad happened by the look on my face.

After telling them what happened to me they all sit there shocked by what I had just said.

Rey: Hey, guys can you give us the room for a minute?

Poe: Yeah, sure.

Poe, Finn and the other's leave the room.

Rey then comes over to me and sits on my lap.

She then leans in a kisses me multiple times on the forehead.

Rey: You okay babe?

Y/N: I don't know how I'm feeling right now to be honest.

Rey: Do you want to talk about it some more?

I shake my head.

Y/N: I'm sorry, but no. I know you want to help and I love you for that I really do, but I really don't want to talk about. I just wanna be alone right now.

She nods.

Rey: Okay. Well, I'm here if you want to talk.

Y/N: Yeah, I know. I love you.

Rey: I love you too.

She pecks me on the lips and stands up.

I get up and go to mine and Rey's quarters and take apart my lightsaber and see that my robotic hand crushed the crystal to pieces.

Y/N: Oh shit. Well, now I don't have a lightsaber.

I then kneel down and start meditating to clear my head.

As I have my eyes close I start to feel a preasace that I haven't felt since I first started to construct my first lightsaber.

???: Ah, young Solo. Long time it has been.

I open my eyes and see the force ghost of Master Yoda, the Jedi that trained uncle Luke.

Y/N: Master Yoda! I haven't seen you in so long!

He smiles.

Yoda: Grow much you have young Solo. Good to see you again, it is.

Y/N: You too Master Yoda.

He looks down and sees my broken lightsaber.

Yoda: Trouble, I sensed you were in. Need guidance, I thought you would.

Y/N: Yes Master, my lightsaber it's destroyed, and I can't fix it. Then again even if I could my lightsaber crystal is shattered so it's useless.

Yoda: New crystal, you need.

I nod.

Y/N: Yes Master.

Yoda: Build new lightsaber, you must. If to comfort your past, you are.

When he said that I knew he must have seen what I saw I'm the temple.

Y/N: But Master I can't do that if I don't have a lightsaber crystal.

Yoda: To find lightsaber crystal. Go to where your journey began, you must.

Y/N: Where my journey began?

I then realise that he means that I have to go to where the journey of building my lightsaber started. This means I have to go to Ilum to get a new lightsaber crystal, which makes sense as that's where lightsaber crystals grow.

Y/N: Ilum! I have to go to Ilum.

Master Yoda smiles and nods.

I stand up and put my lightsaber parts on my work bench.

I'm about to walk out, but I turn back to Master Yoda.

Y/N: Thank you Master Yoda.

Yoda: Always here I am, young Solo.

I smile and leave the room.

I then head to the cockpit and Chewie and I fly the ship out of Chandrila's atmosphere.

The other's come up to the cockpit.

Finn: Y/N, where are we going? Why are we leaving Chandrila?

Y/N: There's somewhere we need to go.

Rey: Where?

Y/N: Ilum.

Chewie and I then activate the hyerdrive and take off into lightspeed.

(A/N: So I just want to apologise if I didn't get Yoda's speak down right. Writing it down was much harder than I thought it'd be. Also I would like to say that I know Ilum was used by the First Order for Starkiller base, but in my version of this story it wasn't. I just wanted to put that out there.)
